Considering the circumstances of the area, i feel that the room and service were adequate and met expectations. The staff appeared polished and well trained. Though it’s noteworthy that the offering at this hotel do not match exactly like a 5 star standard overseas in a modern city. Areas like the cleanliness of the breakfast venue and the carpets could use some improvement. The amenities provided also in line with a good 4 star. Think of this place as the use of a 5 star building premises but operating only like a 4 star. Just a casual comment that this hotel to the ordinary local person in hue city this must feel like an indescribable luxury almost as an extension of the nearby emperor’s tomb because to them such an opulence must feel fit for only the emperor himself. It is said that the cost price of a one nights stay here is equalivent to the monthly salary of the lowest paid workers at USD200 / month or 4-6 million đồng . For this reason alone, i beleive that though the hotel is fantastic in many aspects and i love the experience , it is somewhat out of place here. Just my causal thoughts on this.

🌿 A peaceful and unforgettable stay at Pilgrimage Village I stayed here during my solo trip to Hue and this was by far my favorite hotel in Vietnam. The resort is quiet, spacious, and beautifully designed — a true retreat from the busy world. The staff were warm and professional, especially Ngoc Ha, the manager, who handled everything with great care and flexibility. I felt truly welcomed. My room was cozy and comfortable, and the swimming pool was absolutely relaxing. I enjoyed their “buy 2 get 1 free” cocktail offer while sitting by the pool — such a peaceful moment to just unwind. Dinner was delicious with options for buffet or à la carte, and the restaurant team was very kind and attentive, which made me feel safe and cared for as a solo traveler. Breakfast had many choices, including authentic Vietnamese drip coffee, which was a nice touch. The resort also has great facilities and feels like amazing value for what it offers. And don’t miss their spa! I booked a 2.5-hour session and left completely refreshed. Quiet, clean, and very professionally done. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Hue. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and great service.

This was a great hotel. Clean and neat but a bit outdated - it felt like I was living in a 1980s Chinese drama. The staff were amazing and helpful and the breakfast was good too. The hotel is very central and close to excellent nightlife and restaurants. The pool was a bit green to be honest and they could definitely work on that. I was also staying on a floor that seemed to have many students booked into the hotel - at night they were making quite a lot of noise and running around the corridors - I complained about it and they soon solved the issue.

This is an unparalleled five-star hotel. The room facilities are well maintained. From check-in to check-out, it was perfect. The service staff Vy, Sophia, Hien, Hieu and the boy who checked out in the morning were all excellent. They felt the warmth of home here and experienced the excellent five-star service! Be sure to stay here again next time when I come back!

This has been our favourite place to stay in Vietnam. The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. They have 2 restaurants, one for western food and one for Vietnamese cuisine. We ate all our meals in the Vietnamese restaurant & the food was the best we have had. The building is 107 years and was refurbished 8 years ago. It is pristine. I could not recommend any hotel more highly than this. Absolutely beautiful.

Very historic hotel and you can feel the history. The glory times are gone, don’t expect much from the rooms, but it is still a nice hotel. The location is good. Everything is easily reachable by walk or by taxi. It’s close to the river promenade, worth walking at night. The garden restaurant is charming, and the food is good.

When we got there, we welcomed so warmly by Han on the receptionist, a very good man who packed our breakfast the next morning because our flight was leaving so early. The staff was really welcoming, the rooms are clean, the pool is amazing and the food was great.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the river and the dragon boat dock. Yes, it may be a little tired, but it retains the spirit of its former luxury. The grounds are beautiful, with a variety of flowers and other exotic plants. The family room is spacious, with two adjoining rooms: one with two single beds and the other with a king-size bed. The balcony overlooks the river. It was quiet at night. The room includes robes, slippers, and toiletries for four. The only drawback is that for some reason there was no hot water, but we didn't go to investigate because it was late. Breakfast offered a wide selection of local and European dishes, including fruit. The girls at the reception helped us buy bus tickets. After checkout, in the evening, when we returned from a walk around Hue and were waiting for the bus, we were able to use the pool. There is a shower next to the pool where you can wash up and change before the overnight journey. We were sorry we only stayed one night.

The room is huge! Very big! This is a good point. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious. Not far from the hotel, there is an important shopping mall in Hue city, including a large supermarket. There are delicious restaurants within walking distance.

Muang Thành is always a good choice. This one is a bit older, our room was a bit in need for renovation but more than OK. Location is perfect a lot of restaurants around nice walk along the river. Breakfast has everything you need, staff like everywhere in VN just lovely. In house highlands coffee with a super nice big patio for people watching.

The moment I stepped into Azerai La Residence, it was as if I had traveled back to the colonial era full of stories. This hotel in Hue, Vietnam, is like a shining pearl, exuding a unique charm, bringing me an unforgettable accommodation experience. The main building of the hotel was built in the 1930s and was part of the official residence of the French High Commissioner to Vietnam. Its unique streamlined modernist art deco style, marked by long horizontal lines and nautical elements, shows the elegance and luxury of that era. Staying in the second-level garden view room, I was delighted to see a beautiful view of the Xiangjiang River. In the room, the Nanyang style with nostalgic colors and lazy atmosphere is intoxicating. Unfortunately, the area along the river of the hotel is under construction, which is a little noisy and reduces the scenery. Although the breakfast is very rich in Vietnamese local characteristics, it is generally a bit simple. Experience the hotel's saltwater swimming pool, the deepest of which is 2.5 meters, and you can swim freely; I recommend everyone to experience the hotel's SPA, which has an elegant environment and skilled masseurs.

We booked the street view room but we were given a room at the lowest floor with view of wall of other buildings. The front desk manager kept on saying the hotel is fully booked with no other rooms available. But our friends booked through hotel directly were given a room at higher floor with nice view. Very disappointed of booking through Trip.com.
