I actually wanted to share my thoughts the day I checked in, but we were so busy admiring the West Lake scenery that I kept my feelings to myself. I'm so glad I followed the anchor's recommendation on Ctrip's official website and chose Sofitel Westlake Hangzhou among all the other hotels. While many hotels are built lakeside with excellent locations, this hotel's location truly satisfied me – it's incredibly convenient for getting around! 👍 You don't need any transportation; you can just start walking. The beautiful West Lake scenery is connected to commercial areas, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. Our family enjoyed lake tours, scenic views, and shopping all at once. Sofitel is likely an older, established brand within the Accor group. This particular lakeside hotel has been around for over twenty years, I hear. Although the facilities aren't brand new, the service quality is absolutely top-notch! For this family trip, we opted for a slightly more expensive suite and enjoyed many value-added services from the hotel, even receiving a mooncake gift box in advance. The experience was truly superb! In short, Sofitel will be my first choice whenever I visit Hangzhou in the future! A special thanks to our butler, Daodao, who was both professional and thoughtful, helping me out of a tight spot. I had booked a room for a client and suddenly needed to change the check-in date. Thanks to Daodao's timely coordination, the issue was smoothly resolved, saving me a lot of trouble. You absolutely must try the hotel's freshly baked 'shaobing' (sesame flatbread) – they're delicious. The location is uniquely advantageous, with convenient transportation and close proximity to Hang Lung Plaza, making it easy to get around and shop. The entire staff provides personalized service, which was a great experience. Next time I'm in Hangzhou, this will definitely be my first choice. Highly recommended!

This was my first stay at the Dahua Hotel. Due to its historical nature, the room wasn't very large and felt a bit cramped. However, the Dahua Hotel's biggest advantage is its prime location in the golden district of West Lake, offering a very pleasant environment. Although some facilities are a bit old, they are still quite complete. While the overall service wasn't perfect, the doorman service was absolutely top-notch and deserves special commendation. The hotel's breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety of dishes and excellent flavors. The restaurant is situated right by West Lake, so enjoying delicious food with a beautiful view is truly a treat. The complimentary West Lake boat tour offered by the Dahua Hotel is definitely worth experiencing – it's another great perk of staying here. Overall, my impression of the Dahua Hotel is that while the price is a bit on the high side, it's still worth recommending. However, there are some minor details that could be improved, and the service could be taken up a notch. I look forward to staying here again if I have the chance.

I booked and paid for this hotel in advance. It's located right on Beishan Road, and traffic can get very congested during peak holiday seasons, so I recommend calling a car service ahead of time. Luckily, ride-sharing apps can drop you off directly at the hotel lobby. The hotel is conveniently next to Yue Fei Temple and very close to Quyuan Garden. Stepping out, you'll find a boat dock, and you can even take a tour bus along the Su Causeway, making it super easy to explore West Lake. I booked a garden room and arrived a little after 1 PM, only to be told the room wasn't ready yet, which led to a fifteen-minute wait. I was initially a bit annoyed, but the front desk staff was incredibly professional and immediately upgraded me to a suite, which was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, with an elegant, antique-inspired decor. You're greeted by a subtle, pleasant aroma as soon as you walk in – truly Shangri-La quality. I booked a room with breakfast, and it was excellent – a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options. I especially enjoyed the fried dough sticks and potato pancakes, and there was plenty of fresh fruit. I highly recommend booking a room that includes breakfast. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with this stay and will definitely choose Shangri-La again on my next visit to Hangzhou.

The room's cleanliness was meticulous, with no strange odors, and the mattress firmness was just right. It was very quiet at night. The facilities were well-maintained, and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were very convenient to use. The hotel breakfast is worth mentioning! There's a wide variety of options, including porridge, pastries, fruits, and hot dishes, all authentic in taste. Plus, with its excellent location near the East Station, you can still enjoy a leisurely breakfast even if you're catching an early high-speed train. Although it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, it's excellent value for money. The room had two small sofas, a small side table in addition to the main one, and even a clothesline in the bathroom! It was also quite convenient to get to the 'Big Lotus' stadium from here. When I checked in, the staff asked if I was there for Xu Song's concert and gave us the merchandise shown in picture three. What's more, the staff even proactively offered two bottles of water when I checked out. Very impressed!

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom had no strange odors, and the hot water came on very quickly. The front desk attendant checked me in within minutes. The hallway was quiet and not noisy at all. The location was easy to find, and it was convenient to go out for meals and shopping. Downstairs, there were various convenience stores and small restaurants, so the amenities were complete. There were also enough power outlets for charging. It offers great value for money, with no hidden fees. My overall experience exceeded expectations, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling!

This hotel is truly excellent. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is incredibly warm and welcoming; they even escort you to your room. It's also very close to the subway station, just a 10-minute walk to Wengmei and Qiaosi stations. Plus, parking is free! They even provide complimentary breakfast, and the restaurant environment is lovely. The breakfast spread is very rich, with a DIY sticky rice option, which is a nice touch. At check-out, they even gave a gift to the children. For late-night food deliveries, a robot delivers it right to your room, which was quite fun. Security is also well-handled; you need a key card to access your floor, showing the hotel really cares!
