Originally saw a lot of comments that the hotel was dirty, but I was actually worried when I booked, but I found that it was much better than I thought after I actually checked in. Overall, the price is high, and the same price is better than a chain youth travel. If there is no high requirement for cleanliness, this one can still live. 👍 commendable places: • Cooking utensils are included in the room, which is a plus! 🤔 Small shortcomings that need to be noted: • Cleaning and facilities: The tile cleaning in the bathroom is really not in place, and the hand shower is also leaking. In addition, the trash can is a bit small and will be filled soon. • Noise problem: The hotel is right next to the light rail track. It will be noisy to open the window. People who sleep lightly need to consider it. I am staying in winter, and it is acceptable to sleep with the window closed, but it is not clear in summer (if you need to open the window for ventilation). • Additional fee: The promotional brochure in the room is written. If you need to add extra pillows, quilts and other items, you will have to charge an additional 30 euros! ⚠️ Check-in advice for future travelers (very important!): I booked on the same day and completed online registration. Although the system said that the room password would be mailed by phone on the same day, I didn't receive it late, and finally asked the customer service to get it. It is recommended that if you do not receive the email, remember to contact customer service early 1-2, otherwise you may have to wait in the hotel lobby!

At a good location and at a reasonable price. It has a small kitchen with basics, no reception, and check in is made by the mobile. The room we stayed needed a little maintenance on various parts that had not been repaired while they were broken. 5 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz station. In other words, for the decent money we paid.

The hotel is on the roadside, 8 minutes walk from the subway station, very convenient. I booked a double bed with another girl, but both beds were very small, and they were put together. It was not comfortable. Breakfast was monotonous.

First time trying the steingeberger brand hotel - the service standard turns out to be better than the other international brand hotels. Location is just a stone’s throw away from Berlin hbf, super convenient. Greeted with a smile at check-in, huge lobby area. Room is much bigger than most Germany hotels, clean, comfortable, heated bathroom flooring. Provide bathroom robes. Would be even more ideal if the hotel is able to provide water daily instead of just day 1.

The hotel was conveniently located with a taxi stand directly out front making it very easy to get around the city. The staff were also quite pleasant. Unfortunately the room we were placed in had a serious mold issue in the shower. When I asked about it, they switched us to another room, but the showers still had significant marks of black mold in the grout of the tiles. The attached photo is the state of the shower upon check in. This is not up to what I have heard is the standard for Pullman brand and therefore I cannot recommend this hotel.

I travel around often and I sleep in hotels many nights a year, I had never experienced the situation that I had when I arrived at the Hilton Berlin. I had booked, and paid for a ‘Twin Room with Dome View’ about 4 months before the trip. Upon check-in, I was automatically assigned a room that was not twin nor Dome View (you can see the view in the pictures below); I went back to reception twice, to complain that this was not the room I had booked, the hotel staff was most unhelpful, they didn’t allow me to speak with the manager, nor did they provided any solution or any sort of compensation, their answer simply was that the hotel was booked up and that there was nothing they could do. This was wrong for different reasons, first they assigned me a room that only had one bed, secondly they didn’t provide any solution other than adding a little roller bed to the room, third they didn’t allow me to speak with the manager. I am very disappointed, these sort of experiences do not belong to a hotel chain like Hilton. This unfortunate incident tainted my stay at the hotel. I hope this review gets somehow to someone at Hilton and does something to avoid any further guests having a similar experience. Furthermore, the sauna facilities was apparently not part of the room rate (this was not mentioned whatsoever) and when I checked out I found that I had to pay for every single time I used the sauna.

Great hotel to explore Berlin. Close to Alexanderplatz trainstation. The hotel has a luggage room to use if arriving or leaving late, for a small charge. We used this on arrival and departure 👍. The rooms were of a good size and the beds were very comfortable, with the showers having plenty of pressure and hot water. We had breakfast every morning. This was plentiful and varied. Overall I would recommend the hotel to my family and friends.

I thought the hotel was excellent value - the room was on the small side and maybe a little cramped for 2 people, but it was totally managable. Everything in the room and bathroom worked well, except the air-conditioning did not get as cold as we like back in the USA. Small USB travel fans at night helped us just fine . The food at the breakfast was excellent, a very large variety and plenty to eat. Great coffee! I would recommend this hotel because the location is great - easy to access transit and you can walk to many museums and attractions in about 20 minutes.

The hotel is near the famous Alexanderplatz; unfortunately near the bridge of the U-Bahn. The smell of pee outside is off putting to say the least. The hotel and rooms are clean, unfortunately there’s carpet everywhere. So you can’t really tell. It’s not hygienic. The rooms are a little small, there’s little space to empty your luggage and nowhere to actually put it. The plug situation in the room is ridiculous. In a double room, there’s only one plug near only one of the beds. In the shower, there’s nothing to place your own shampoo and conditioner and so on. The TV doesn’t have any mirrorcast/airtv options to screen something from your phone/tablet, and most of the channels are in German.

The service was great, but the room was pretty bare-bones. You have to buy your own luggage lock, and there's no shower gel, hairdryer, or slippers provided. Considering the price and location, it's still good. Also, there was a very strong, headache-inducing air freshener smell in the room, and I'm not sure where it was coming from.

I stayed at Generator Berlin Alexanderplatz and overall had a pretty good experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the heating in the room was excellent — the space felt warm and very comfortable throughout my stay. The hostel’s common areas and facilities were also quite nice. The only downside was the cleanliness inside my dorm room. Some roommates didn’t maintain good hygiene: they sometimes ate food inside the room, talked loudly on the phone late at night, and even left the bathroom unflushed. I also ended up throwing away plastic bottles left behind by others. This wasn’t the hostel’s fault, but more about the behavior of certain guests. Aside from that, the hostel itself is great, and I would consider staying again — hopefully with more considerate roommates next time.

It’s just few steps away from the Berlin Wall museum and Charlie Checkpoint, 12mins from the metro station to reach other tourist attractions. The room was super spacious and clean, with a view of the street. It can get a bit noisy on weekend’s nights but we had zero problem with that. The staffs were very nice and helpful. The price was also very competitive for a big city like Berlin. P/S: If you fancy some Vietnamese food, there’s a Viet restaurant 4 mins away from the hotel serving good Pho.

Kids' breakfast: Trip.com stated that children under 11 eat for free, but the hotel front desk said it was for children under 6.
