Spacious and luxurious room with huge bathroom. Conveniently located next to public transportation, attractions and shopping. Restaurant at Sky Terrace was overpriced and didn’t taste nice. Restaurant Jack’s at ground floor has nice ambience and serves nice steaks.

The hotel is very conveniently located, and most of Bern's famous attractions can be reached on foot. The hotel also thoughtfully prepared a day ticket for Bern's public transportation, which can be used unlimited times. The room was spacious and the scenery outside the window was beautiful. The reception was polite and enthusiastic. The guy who helped drive the car out also put two bottles of drinking water in the car. It was thoughtful.

The room service was below average. The cleaner always made mistakes and not cleaning the room in a comprehensive way.
It could be quite noise sometimes as the sound proof is not good.

Counter staffs are very helpful, helped us arranged a 3rd room on the same floor and gave us free upgrade for the 1st 2 rooms. Rooms are spacious on the 5th floor. Buffet breakfast acceptable, can see staffs topping up food regularly. Carpark is quite a distance away and costly, cost us almost 50 euros for 2 days but hotel allows car to be parked in front for loading/unloading up to 15mins and also 17% discount provided. Right next to supermarket 👍

Good location. Only a few mins walk to the train station. The hotel has a laundry room with a washer and a dryer so it's good for people taking long trip who need some clean clothes.
The only downside is the noise, especially if your room faces the street. If you open the window for fresh air, you'll have to deal with construction noise and car noise early in the morning

Very pleasant stay experience, the room is clean and quiet, although the old house facilities are simple, the details are well maintained, the bedding is very soft and comfortable, the bathroom is very clean, there is a tram nearby to go directly to the old town attractions. The boss was very enthusiastic and took the map to help us introduce the most suitable tour route, saving our time. Breakfast is traditional European, the freshly baked croissants are crispy with coffee, there are interesting colored eggs, and the ladies in the restaurant are also very careful. It is recommended to check in in advance, Europe's working hours are not 24 hours. The last day of breakfast remembers the wrong time, when we went to breakfast, we started to receive the meal, or let us take the bread to eat on the road. Promised to write a review for the boss, I hope he can understand Chinese.

The space was much bigger than I expected and very clean. For the price, it offered incredible value for money compared to other places I've stayed in Europe. There's also a sparkling water and hot water dispenser, and a common room. Overall, I had a very positive experience.
Transportation: The only potential drawback is that reaching the train station requires two transfers, as there's no direct route. The journey, including transfers, takes approximately 25 minutes. Apparently, road construction over the past few months has caused the originally direct routes to be diverted, and it seems these roadworks won't conclude until the end of 2025. When I made my booking, the construction hadn't started, and I only became aware of it upon arrival. If this is a concern for you, I recommend checking Google Maps when you book to confirm whether the roadworks have finished.From$103

• Upon arrival, the male staff welcomed me with a cheerful tone that immediately made me feel friendly and comfortable in Bern.

It'd the right standard and price for this type of lodging. It's a little away from the Old Town but then again, Bern is small enough that this doesn't really mean much - just a short walk. It's clean and quiet at night which is all I wanted.
The staff were friendly and helpful, they even brought me an electric kettle I asked for - though I believe there were also some communal ones in the small kitchenette on the floor. Overall, I'd stay there again.From$104
