Overall, it’s OK, but the location is really a bit biased. Unless you have transportation, it’s really not very convenient. There is only one convenience store nearby. It takes about 5-10 minutes.

It belongs to a relatively old hotel! But overall it is clean! The location is excellent! Two minutes walk is the department store, the cinema! The parking lot belongs to the elevator to drive into the elevator~ A little nervous! But the service staff will accompany it! Maybe a lot of safety and peace of mind! The room is not big! Little! My stay at Monarch Plaza Hotel in Taoyuan was fantastic overall! The cleanliness was exceptional; the room was spotless and very comfortable, which made me feel completely at ease. The hotel was really nice and comfortable. 100/100
The bed was nice. The room was spacious. They give free snacks and drinks in the room. They have a lot of variety of pillows. They also have a water refilling station outside of the room.
They have a business room where you can even print something. They have a gym and a laundry area but you need to pay for the laundry I think.
The breakfast buffet was superb. A lot of variety and options. However, they don’t change it so after the second day, it kinda gets boring already but it’s still good!
They can also help arrange a car service for you if you need one.
The only thing I hope they improve is the check in time hehe. It was 4pm. I wish it can be a little bit earlier. But this isn’t a problem at all.
The hotel is connected to Gloria Outlet (there’s a bridge directly connected to the hotel’s 2nd floor). It’s also connected to Xpark. Also, it’s connected to a mini mall (I forgot the name) where you can easily choose a food to eat. Just beware that almost all the restos closses at 9pm and a lot of resto only receives customers before 8pm.
I highly recommend this hotel when you plan to shop in Gloria Outlets. It was very convenient, clean and spacious. ☺️FromHK$881

They have great facilities like massage chairs, a pool table, foosball, and gym equipment – perfect for a relaxing getaway. I saw a review mentioning bugs on the bread previously, but this time, their breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Most importantly, they've added covers to the fruit, fresh greens, and bread, which is a huge improvement in hygiene. It felt really good.
The exterior might look old, but the inside is clean and comfortable, which is excellent. The only downside is their washing machines are really dirty. That's a huge red flag; if you're staying here, please don't use them. Great hotel with parking lot.
The most beneficial part of my self - drive car trip is that the hotel provides a safe underground garage for guests with no fees. It is expensive and hard to find a place to park the car in Taiwan. The room is spacious and comfy with brick wallpaper. The most admire is the three single beds instead of one double bed plus one single bed . However, the breakfast is not impressive. Minimum choices offered. In conclusion, I totally recommend this hotel for the free parking ,clean and spacious room compared to the price.FromHK$239

I had stayed here before and returned again mainly due to the free airport transfer (only on weekdays and only until 2026/1/29) and convenience of location (just opp 7-11 and Poya, very short walk to PX mart grocery store).
Important advice: if you are travelling with anything bigger than a cabin baggage, it is better to get their shared bathroom rooms, as I have stayed in their attached bathroom single room and it is a tight fit for luggage bigger than a cabin. Attached bathroom rooms are also in their old wing where I feel the lighting is quite dim and slightly more dated in the amenities.
Photo here is for a shared bathroom single, in the new wing which feels newer. Shared bathroom is very clean, with both dry and wet showering area so you don’t have to worry about wetting your clothes.FromHK$277

We ordered a triple bed room. The room was super big and so was the toilet. The toilet comes with a bath tub and one can literally play mahjong inside the toilet space. The rooms are clean and new and nice but the hotel doesn't provide any amenities like tooth brush etc. Shampoo and body wash are provided, so are bath room slippers. This hotel is rated five-star, but the rooms feel more like a four-star experience. Comfortable, but lacking a certain luxury. The price would be fair if it were positioned as a four-star hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast; it offered a good variety and tasted delicious, comparable to the Landis Hotel I stayed at the day before. It had more options but no smoked salmon. Pros: Good for an overnight stay near the airport, with a 25-minute bus ride to the terminal. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was reasonably comfortable, though the glossy duvet cover and sheets felt a bit low-end. Cons: The room facilities are quite old, probably a 15-year-old renovation. There are no power outlets by the bedside, so you have to use the hotel's slow charging device. Light leaks through the top of the curtains because the tracks aren't overlapped. The bathroom fan doesn't have an off button, but luckily, closing the door mostly blocks the sound. I was in a hurry checking in and out, so I didn't take any photos of the hotel.
