The hotel is in a good environment and the service is very warm and thoughtful. Since we were staying during the Spring Festival, there were a lot of Chinese tourists in the hotel and it was very lively. The hotel is in a good location and the surrounding public transportation is very convenient.

Newly renovated, great. There are Singapore, Hong Kong management staff, can speak Mandarin Cantonese, the most friendly hotel for Chinese. There are two restaurants to choose from for breakfast, the production is very good, the Japanese is good, the first choice for New York.

The hotel is in a prime location at the end of Fifth Avenue. Next to it is the old luxury department store BG. Because it is an old hotel, the rooms are on high floors. Also because it is an old hotel, the equipment and layout are not fashionable and comfortable (the mattress is about to collapse). The hotel's two old elevators often require patience to wait. The room rate is expensive and not cost-effective.

It's a small suite with a reasonable layout. The sofa is a bit old, but it has a sense of age.

There are various celebrities taking photos in the hotel restaurant, and the display is very good. There is a burning banana dessert that I haven’t tasted yet. The bar is a famous punch-up spot in New York. I have filmed movies. It’s a rainy day in New York, so it’s hard to get a reservation. If you have the chance, you must go and take pictures. Check in
- Laihuishi
An old classic hotel, showing her luxury everywhere. It's just that the floor I was given was too low, and it was noisy with the SPA room and exercise room. But I was later changed to a big room on the 12th floor. It's a pity that such a big room doesn't even have a bathtub. It doesn't fit the tone of the old money style. The bar is good with room card priority 👍

When I checked in, the hotel front desk said my credit card couldn't be used! Later I found out that there was a problem with the hotel check-in system! I had to wait for a full hour and a half. When I entered the room, I found chocolate on the floor that had not been cleaned up. The rooms provided are also corner irregular rooms. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I called the hotel to complain. Someone from the hotel inspected the floor of the room and upgraded me to another room. Ctrip conducted customer interviews, learned about the situation and communicated with the hotel, and finally Ctrip provided a service plan! Thank you to Ctrip staff for their responsible spirit! The hotel is nice and the restaurant service is good! The quality of management staff's work and customer service quality need to be improved (to be worthy of the hotel brand's image among customers).

The room decoration is very ordinary, the only advantage is that it is a little new The service is hard to describe, very bad, I have never seen such inadequate service in the Ritz, no enthusiasm, no smile, cold face throughout the whole process, even the shower gel and shampoo provided can be misplaced, two bottles of shower gel but no shampoo, I called and waited for a long time before it was delivered No greetings, no hello, and the hotel seems to be holding activities every day, the tiny lobby is crowded with people I feel what it means to be wronged after staying here once

The hotel is in a good location. The hotel has a long history, so the facilities are generally old. Because 70% of it is the residence of the elderly, only 30% of the rooms are open to the public. The overall service is very thoughtful. It is not recommended for couples or family travel. The architectural style is more European, unlike new hotels, which are more generous. The minibar is full of the cheapest things and is charged for except water. Although it is clean, it looks very old overall. The toiletries are from London's molton. The breakfast downstairs is the oldest Cipriani creation point, which is very good. Overall, I feel that if you are over 60 years old and like the quietness of a bustling city, choose this place. Because I didn't see many reviews, I happened to live here and came to explore. I don't recommend staying here unless there is really no other hotel to go.
- Guest User
This hotel was once voted the best hotel in America. Not many people know about it in China. The view of the room this time was invincible. For hotels next to Central Park, as long as the rooms face the park, the room rate is doubled. Many rooms in the hotel have been sold to private owners, entrepreneurs or celebrities. The interior view rooms and interior view suites have no view. The city view rooms and suites have a view of the city and you cannot see the Central Park. Please remember when you book.

Staying at The Edition again this year felt just like coming home. The front desk and luggage staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful, it was like seeing old friends. A special shout-out to Mr. Shah and Mr. Brian at the front desk – their service was impeccable, and they were so friendly and diligent. They truly deserve praise! 👍👍 We celebrated a birthday at the 9th-floor restaurant this time, and Mr. Ace was a huge help throughout. He took photos for us and paid attention to so many dining details. All in all, we had a fantastic stay here and hope to return next year! 😄

The hotel is not big, but the service is quite good. The room is very big, which is very good. The facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is acceptable. There are two balconies, one large and one small. The hotel is on the street, so people who have high requirements for the sleeping environment should choose it carefully. Overall, I am very satisfied. It is convenient to get in and out. The subway station is very close. There are supermarkets around. McDonald's Star Dad is opposite, and it is also close to Koreatown.

Times Square New York|5.2km from city center
The location is excellent, making it very convenient to reach all attractions by subway. Upon check-in, an additional destination fee of $41 per night was required. This fee could be used towards purchases at the 8th-floor restaurant and the rooftop view restaurant, but the $41 credit was non-cumulative and had to be utilized daily. The outcome was that no matter how we tried to maximize it, we always ended up spending a few extra dollars each day. This destination fee truly felt like a trap: a shame to waste, but using it still meant additional expenses. Purified water was available on the 8th floor, allowing guests to fill their own bottles. Moreover, the room rate included one complimentary hotel perk voucher per night. During our stay, the perk was a choice of three options: a hop-on hop-off double-decker bus tour, entry to the Natural History Museum, or the Wax Museum. Finally, I must complain about the hotel's amenities. The bedsheets were torn, and the towels were old and worn. This completely shattered my perception of the Marriott brand. Then, there was the final billing process. The hotel's policy was to process payment first, then provide a detailed bill. The issue I encountered was that after paying by credit card, the bill surprisingly included an extra day's destination fee. After I reported this to the front desk, the recalculated bill then *undercharged* me for one day. I truly question if this is a problem with the hotel's billing system or simply human error. Ultimately, I still have to wait a week to receive a refund for the overcharged amount from the hotel.

My son and I had the most incredible experience! I would recommend the William Vale to all my friends and family. The balcony views at sunset in the summer are absolutely stunning. The hotel itself offers many thoughtful amenities including a welcome message with your name on the television upon arrival. I honestly only have one small complaint and that was the cleaning service. We called about having the room cleaned and actually spoke with the individual who said she would come back at the time we requested but she never returned. Other than that one little hiccup everything went smoothly from the time we pulled up to valet to unload our luggage. There is NO better hotel to stay in Williamsburg aside from the William Vale.

Horrible experience with Service & Unnecessary charges a) After charging $40 + taxes, they give $30 free meal voucher every day. After Day-1 i realised it was more economical to not use the $30 voucher. Sounds strange but its very Interestingly structured. One orders an Avocado toast for $29 (within budget) from the in room menu. The guy delivers in 30mins with a bill of $52 of which its $29 of food, $10 of delivery charges and $13 of taxes totalling to $52. So 1st you are charged $40 as City charged and in lieu of that the coupon of $30 for food given to you even if u stuck to your understanding $30 you would have paid more than $52 means extra $22 It gets more interesting when they tell you, that you cant use this $30 for breakfast. This is like a Ponzi scheme. b) One of the rudest In-room dining call you will ever attend. I asked what is XXXXX, revert: you should read about it, this is not in my job profile, I only take orders. Fab experience 😍 c) I requested that since i was lactose intolerant could the hotel be kind to deliver 1/4 cup of Almond milk, just enough for a cup of tea. I am told that is possible and then a full cup of milk with $10 + taxes = $13 is charged for simple request of Almond milk. d) You are not eligible for even a single bottle of water in a so called 5star hotel or so. e) Servicing the room was not in list, had to go twice over to reception to ensure that room no is added to list of rooms to be serviced in the day. f) The Coffee machine wasnt working and one had to request for a simple electric kettle to warm water for tea/coffee. g) The Jet spray in the washroom commode was jammed and not working.

The room was a bit small, and the facilities were just average, but everything was functional. The main advantage is its proximity to the subway, with several lines just 100-300 meters away. Plus, there's a ferry terminal right across the street where you can take a free boat to the island. The hotel's location is excellent, making transportation incredibly convenient.

The stay was nice. Rooms are small. No coffee maker in the room. You can go downstairs and buy coffee but the coffee is weak and not worth the price. Water runs out the shower soaking the floor. Overall the place is cozy. Intimate. The bar tender was AMAZING ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS. The front staff were very polite night and morning. The location is good , a few seconds walk to Wall Street , Broadway street, Trinity church, the charging bull , the subway station 10 seconds walk , the pier 11 to Brooklyn was very close , in a nutshell worth to book for the location. I was shocked that the hotel doesn’t provide simple things like toothbrushes and paste and comb or cups , no kettle , no robes, no mini fridge, no iron, nothing. No water in the hotel . These are basic things especially for a 4 star hotel . If people stay for 1 night it’s not important but if u book it for 7 nights, u need to have some coffee or tea or hot water if u feel cold or wanna get some warm water u don’t have it . The reception had some hot water but the elevators were always busy so it’s a headache. Also the neighbors were very noisy , the walls were not blocking the sound. I could hear them using the bathroom.

The location of the Holiday Inn is excellent. It's situated between Sixth and Seventh Avenue, making it easy to walk to the subway station and Times Square. The hotel rooms are not large but they are clean and tidy, and they come with a safe and a hairdryer. Breakfast is free and includes fruits and juices, as well as bagels, cupcakes, and nut bars. If you're in a hurry, you can also take it to go. The most unforgettable person for me was Ms. Nadine. She helped me get back the passports for me and my family. I forgot to take the passports out of the safe when I checked out, and I only remembered when I was about to leave New York after spending the whole day out. I rushed back to the hotel and, in my panic, I told her the wrong room number. Ms. Nadine was very patient and compassionate; she let me go up with her to check. At that moment I found out I had given her the wrong room number. I am truly very grateful to her. I will stay in the Holiday Inn again.
