The hotel is right in the city center but very quiet. It takes about five minutes to reach the hotel from the highway. The hotel is luxurious and the garden is beautiful. We also had dinner in the room and the food was pretty good. That is, the rooms booked by Ctrip are often on low floors and on the equipment platform, windows cannot be opened.

The hotel is very nice and the staff members were very helpful. It was so nice to stay in a nice hotel that was actually clean. The pool area was very nice as well. Definitely recommend this hotel. My husband was there for business and I never had to leave the hotel, there was plenty of things for me to do.

There is a supermarket at the back door, close to the airport, free parking, friendly front desk, self-service laundry but you have to bring laundry detergent; overall, ok, just a shower is a fixed rain shower, it is more troublesome to bathe the child.

The hotel is very clean, with coin-operated washing machines, it is a good stop for those who drive to Huangshi by car! Compared with other chain hotels I have stayed all the way

This one in Salt Lake City, the room was fine. Meet expectations. Breakfast is also quite satisfactory. Only disappointment and upset was that I left the next day and the $198 deposit was never cancelled. Yes, it has been 11 days. I called the front desk on 7.16, and the female staff replied about 4 working days. As a result, looking at it today, all Marriott's Springhills have not been cancelled. But what stands out is that there is a $20 deposit for other Springhills suites. This 198, why? Salt Lake City expensive? Aren't you worried that such an inefficient cancellation of the deposit will affect your guests' next itinerary? Not everyone has a $30,000 credit card limit and can ignore your slow refunds. Regarding this hotel in Salt Lake City, it has bad reviews. It is recommended not to go if you are concerned about the speed of returning the 198 deposit.

This room is still clean. I live on the second floor. There is a staff meeting room next to the room. Some people started talking at 7:00 in the morning. There is a door in the room that leads to the conference room. The room is not soundproof, so foreigners Loudly laughing and listening very clearly, the size of the room is as shown in the picture, it is ok to live alone, and the two people lived a little. The bed in the room is very soft, and the individual does not like the soft bed. There is a feeling of sinking...

We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see, as well as bars and restaurants. Nice central location. Right by a park that has a Farmer's Market as well as near Avent Center if you are going to an event there.

Reviews From Real Travelers
The Residence Inn Salt Lake City has consistently provided high quality service and attention to detail during my stays. I was impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, and immaculate condition of the rooms. There is no place I would rather stay than Marriott. Ms. Clarisa at the Residence Inn Salt Lake City downtown is an exceptional manager. I received excellent customer service from her. My admiration for her professionalism, expertise, and intelligence is unwavering. She went above and beyond to ensure that my stay at Marriott was pleasant and well-cared for. Having a supportive and cohesive manager like Ms. Clarisa makes a positive impact on the customer experience. Front desk staff Mr. Trevor and Mr. Cyrus provided excellent customer service. They treat customers with kindness, generosity, and respect. My sincere appreciation and gratitude are due to the entire team for treating me so wonderfully. It was an excellent stay in every way. I highly recommend this place.

I love their first floor market. It is open 24 hours and the breads, desserts, and food are delicious. Rich variety. The room is spacious and comfortable. The gym is fully equipped and children like to exercise.

The room was good. The service was not good, the two-day consumption list of the two rooms at the time of check-out was not completed. After communication, it was said that the money would be returned and later charged. Very sorry.

The room is very spacious with a small balcony; the bathrooms are two suites (superb); there is no hot water kettle in the room (not friendly to Chinese tourists who like to make tea by themselves); the wifi signal is very good; it is convenient to travel, close to Temple Square 10-15 minutes walk from Greek City; there is also a bus at the door (starting at 2.5 dollars); snacks and drinks are sold in the small shop downstairs of the hotel.

Hotel parking is more convenient. It is located in the hotel’s underground parking lot. You can enter and exit the parking lot freely by swiping the card with your room card. The daily charge is 15 yuan. The room space is not small, and the front desk service is warm and patient.

Specically booked a suite at this hotel for 3 nights to ensure that we had a view from an upper floor. Also website stated that dinners & breakfasts were available at the adjacent restaurant. After checking in we soon realised that the restaurant appeared to be closed. Upon asking at reception this was confirmed - so why had they not sent an email to warn of this situation?! When querying this with reception staff, one member in particular was very curt in her response. We had to search in very high temperatures to find suitable restaurants although the free light rail system did reduce the walking distance.

I had a stay Feb 5-6, 2023 for a ground floor room w/ a single bed because I'm 100% handicapped from my military service during Vietnam. I called Microtel twice on 2/1 & again on 2/4, to confirm that I had a 1 bed ground floor rm. Both times the clerks assured me that it was in their system. I showed up Feb 5th around 3:30pm, & was told by the rude female desk clerk that there's no ground floor rooms available. I told her that I had called twice on different days & was assured that the notes were in the system. She finally checked again & put me in a ground floor room, that wasn't very clean, but I accepted it, since there wasn't any other ground floor rooms available according to her. That evening the room above me kept dropping things, & it sounded like being in a bowling alley w/ the loud noises. Later, a family came in the room next door to me, & the kids started yelling, screaming & pounding on the walls. I called the front desk a couple of times, but no answer. It finally stopped around 10pm. The next morning, I went to take a shower. There wasn't any hot water, & the soap & shampoo dispensers were empty. I called the front desk & again, no answer. Afterward, a Mexican guy apparently had a key to my room & came in, w/o knocking or anything. He looked surprised when he saw me, & started speaking Spanish. I asked who he was & why he came in my room, but just talked Spanish. When I went to the front desk & confronted the clerk (the same rude clerk that checked me in the day before) about this guy having a key to enter my room, she said it MAY be the maintenance guy. I then asked, ”Why didn't he say he's maintenance or staff or have hotel ID on him?” She claimed she didn't know. I filed a complaint w/ the mgr thru the clerk, & he finally sent me a email 3 days later saying he couldn't do anything about the noise from other guests. Nothing about the other issues, like no hot water, soap or shampoo, or why the guy had a key to enter my rm. No offer of a refund or some sort of compensation. Do not stay at this Microtel !!

I had to book this room last minute to deal with a family emergency in the city. The photos looked decent and reviews said it was clean and the price was great. When we arrived late in the evening, the guy behind the desk was apathetic, and actually rather rude. The stairwell up to the third floor was the beginning of my feelings that this may have been a mistake. Between the back alley feel and the phallus shaped artwork on the windows were pretty demoralizing. The cart full of junk outside the door of the room next to us didn't help. Inside the room, I immediately noticed that the walls were scuffed all over and that you could see where light fixtures had been changed. The carpet had stains and was pretty worn. MY wife found some long black hair on the towels in the bathroom, and all they supplied were a pair of bath towels. When she asked the gentleman in the lobby for replacements, he provided a single towel, forcing her to ask for another, and then a hand towel and washcloth. He was pretty rude about the whole thing. Our room had a window facing West Temple, and it's only a single pane so the road noise was significant when compared to a room in other places. There was a lack of outlets that were easily accessible next to the bed, so if you travel with a CPAP, be ready to mobe the bed to plug in. The bed was clean, and the Tempurpedic mattress was nice, but the box spring had obviously been victim to a cat that decided to sharpen its claws. After an OK night's sleep, we took morning showers. In the shower, it looks like the tile had been painted over, and the paint was peeling badly. The worst part of the room in my book is in the shower. The showerhead provided a mere dribble and was simply the most disappointing shower I've ever had in my life. It's a shame, because this property, has some real potential to be a really cool place, so I hope the owners can take this review as constructive criticism and make some improvements.

I recently stayed at this Sheraton Hotel and was totally disappointed with my experience. The fact that I used my suite upgrade being a Titanium Elite Bonvoy even made it worse. I have stayed in a number of Sheraton Hotels and by far, this is the worst of them all. First of all, the reception people were not so customer friendly. We came in around 2:20 p.m. thinking that our room will be ready by then. The front desk clerk said that please come back in about 45 minutes as the room is being worked on. We came back an hour later and to my surprise, the room was still not ready and that it will take another 30 minutes or so to be ready. After patiently waiting around, when we finally get to our Suite, it was not at par with Sheraton or Marriott standards. It looked like the remodeling was halted 3/4 of the way as it can be seen with the toilet bowl looking so badly done. Furniture were dusty. The room look so ancient. Breakfast was also bad as there was a human hair with the bacon that was being served. A few of the patrons saw the hair and told the kitchen and finally took away the pan of bacon and replaced it with a new one.

DISABILITY FRIENDLY- 6 night stay there over Xmas. Room with roll-in-shower very accessible. Shower controls easy to reach. Sink easy to approach. Parking with wheel-chair van easy in parking deck. Local attractions easy to get to by wheelchair. Staff at this hotel always helpful and friendly the entire time. Hotel bar staff excellent. Maid service personnel extremely helpful. Can't say enough god things about this hotel. Easily recommend this facility for travelers with disability issues. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed here for a national competition since this is one of the Hotels that was sanctioned by the organizers. The lack of service was just apparent from checkin all the way to everyday interaction. When we checked-in, I already felt the lack of appreciation for their guests as I never felt welcome from the get go. I was not acknowledge about being an IHG rewards member and welcomed at the Hotel. I must add though that when buying things in their marketplace, the interaction of charging our things with the front desk was fast and seamless so that is a positive. Also leading to our stay, I did have phone interaction with some of their staff for my reservation and they have been very helpful and accommodating so was surprised with my current experience here. There are no safebox to store some of your valuables and when I asked the front desk I was just told they have none in a lazy way without effort of providing alternatives or if they can help in any other way. Our first day, they locked breakfast area right at 9:30 sharp without letting the people already eating that they are closing. When we inquired with one of the staff, they replied in a kind of a rude way that ”when its close, its closed”. I could understand the policy but they would not even hear about suggestion of simply announcing that they are closing the breakfast area for last call so people could have a chance to get their last servings if needed. They also literally, close off the breakfast area while people are still eating almost like telling everyone to get out. I think this shows lack of service and professionalism with no empathy to their guests. it does look like they treat their guests as like burglars to close/lock off their breakfast area. For rooms, the area is a little bit smaller compared to some area hotels but typical of a Holiday Inn property so no complains there. Our rooms did not have issue(so far fingers crossed) but a lot of people in our group had room issues. Some have their locks not working after checkins and they have to work on fixing them and someone from our group was given a room that was still occupied. They have 2 gyms in different floors but smaller compared to other gyms from different hotels. They have a sauna and a pool so another positive. I am still checked in and staying for 5 more days so will update the review later but If not for our team choosing to stay on this Hotel I would have checked out and moved to Hilton across the street where we have a very positive experience a few years ago with the same competition.

I'm not tall, but the folks at the hotel are so enthusiastic and helpful! They told me that the hotel used to be a bank, and that the vault was currently repurposed for use in the kitchen (? - maybe I'm misremembering). The tall floor? They built it because the Kimpton Monaco is where the basketball players stay when they come into town to play - they made a whole floor with elevated counters and super tall doors. It's a funky little feature and my kids got a kick out of peeking down the hall... Otherwise the place was excellent! Friendly, cheerful, and incredibly thoughtful! The room was spacious, super clean, and stylish, as Kimpton rooms are. My kids and I loved the board games in the lobby, the cold tea and water (July is HOT in Utah!), and the exercise room tucked into a space over the entryway but not at all crowded! Place is easy, easy walking distance to some excellent sights and restaurants, even in the hot weather. Overall a terrific choice!
