We took our little family with young 3 children with us on this trip and we had the best time staying at this place. The kids loved to stay here a lot. We could see the beautiful views from both our bedroom and the living room. The view is stunning. The place is clean and spacious. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry are are all well-maintained. Great location as only a few minutes drive to all the main places, restaurants, shops/ supermarkets. We will definitely come back to stay next time we’re in Queenstown.

I checked in at 3:30 PM only to be given a dirty room, which was very disappointing. I immediately went to the front desk to report it, and they asked me to wait. I then asked if an upgrade was possible because the room felt very cramped, and the window only offered a view of the resort grounds, not the sea. It was room 213B, and all 'B' rooms apparently don't have sea views. You definitely need to pick an 'A' room for a good view. A little later, the front desk told me there were no rooms available and still asked me to wait. After another short wait, they said I could switch to room 201B. Upon opening the door, it was much better – it had a side window and even a partial sea view!

If you absolutely must stay here, choose the lake-view apartment. I didn't pay attention when booking. Firstly, the room was small, and secondly, there's nowhere to eat nearby except the hotel restaurant. I originally wanted to change my plans midway to visit Dunedin. I submitted a request to modify the dates on Trip.com two days before check-in, but I never received a reply. It wasn't until I asked in person on the day of check-in that they said it was possible, but they would charge us over 3,000 for one night. 🙄 I have to give Trip.com a serious bad review here. Initially, they said they would intervene if the hotel didn't respond by the deadline, but later they said that since the hotel's response deadline had passed, the original order would proceed. They didn't even bother with a superficial effort. When submitting the modification request, I noticed that we had pre-booked a lake-view room for three nights for over 10,000, but upgrading to a better room type later on was actually over a thousand cheaper. The only upside is the beautiful scenery. Everything else is a complaint. After eating at the restaurant, we wanted to go back to our room to rest, only to find that staff had entered the room to fix the air conditioning without any request from us. We'd been there for two nights and hadn't noticed any problem with the AC. The cleaning was also very perfunctory. The shower glass had too many gaps, so water always leaked everywhere, and when our wet slippers were thrown away, they weren't replaced. In short, don't expect to be treated like a guest when you come here.

I am very satisfied and happy during the stay in QT. They gave us heaps of treats : fresh milk, chocolates, juice, welcome pastry. They are all tasty and yummy. the texture of the pastry is soft. I never felt like this before in other 5 stars hotel. Although they did not provide free water bottles in the room, but overall the experience is awsome.

This Queenstown trip involved three nights at different hotels due to tight availability: Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel, Ramada by Wyndham Queenstown Central, and Hilton Queenstown Resort & Spa. Park Boutique left the deepest impression. Though not downtown, its location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet just a 5-minute walk to the town center. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive, with a nightly wine tasting salon. Breakfast featured a partial buffet with main courses ordered à la carte. However, each guest could only order their main course once. Ideally, a second order could be offered for an additional fee, allowing larger groups to sample more dishes. The best part was the practical facilities: a small kitchen, a bathroom with separate wet and dry zones, and a mattress that was perfectly firm and comfortable. Surprisingly, there was even a fireplace, adding warmth to slightly chilly evenings. In short, if you're heading to Queenstown for a relaxing getaway, Park Boutique is the ideal place to stay.

I highly recommend this hotel! Location: It's a 10-minute walk to the town center and a 5-minute walk to the lake. There's a direct bus from the airport that stops right at the hotel's doorstep, and the bus to the airport is on the same side of the street, which is super convenient! Cleanliness: The hygiene is excellent, and the bedding is made up daily. All the kitchenware is provided, so it's easy to cook meals. Ambiance: The environment is absolutely stunning! You can see the lake from the room, even when the weather isn't great. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but Queenstown is a popular tourist destination, and everything is expensive during peak season, so I still think it offers pretty good value for money.

Great location, nice staff and clean room service. The facilities are quite old, not that solid bed, the sockets are quite away from your bed, the lockers are mini and some of them are broken. But the toilet and bathroom are separate, which is useful in busy time. It is kind of noisy but my ear plugs works. This is not a problem for me. So it could be a good choice if location is important for you.

This hotel is located by Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown, just 200 meters from the famous Fergburger and Patagonia Ice Cream. The location is excellent! We stayed in a standard room on the second floor, leftmost side, and had a partial lake view. Right across the street is the popular Saigon restaurant, and next door is Aotea Souvenirs, the largest gift shop on the South Island. Everything is within easy reach, making it a great choice if you don't have a car.

The room is right next to the lake. It is very suitable for a large family to live here. The kitchen is fully equipped, which is very suitable for people who cook The environment is very good, you can see the starry sky at night, there is a big balcony, and you can watch the Milky Way from the balcony at night🌌 very good experience

Amazing stay at Melbourne lodge in Queenstown. The location is superb and the walk to the main downtown area is only 10mins though you will be walking uphill otw back. The room was spacious and well maintained, though take note that you will have to climb some stairs to access certain rooms but it was really a wonderful stay and we highly recommend it :)

We stayed at this hotel apartment for three nights during our South Island road trip in Queenstown. The two-bedroom, two-living room lake-view apartment (with two separate bathrooms) was excellent! Make sure to choose a unit on the 4th or 5th floor, as the 3rd floor's lake view might be partially obstructed by other buildings. The kitchen is fully equipped (though you'll need to bring your own seasonings). On the evening of April 18th, we were able to see both the aurora and the Milky Way right from our room's balcony – no need to go out and brave the cold, which was absolutely amazing and so worth it! The hotel parking was also very convenient; we paid 45 NZD for three days. However, it might be inconvenient if you don't have a car, as the hotel is located in a lower area off the main road, and the front desk is a bit of a walk from the other two apartment buildings. It's about 2.5 kilometers from Queenstown center.

“Fantastic stay – highly recommend!” I had an excellent stay at the Cambridge Hotel. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with a great city view from the balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always going above and beyond to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The facilities were also impressive, especially the indoor pool and overall cleanliness of the hotel. Everything felt well-maintained and welcoming. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, combining comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great location! Although there's a steep hill to the town center, it's only a few minutes' walk. They also offer free parking on a first-come, first-served basis. After we checked out, the front desk even let us move our car to another parking lot that didn't require a key card, which was really convenient since our main activities were in the town center. Excellent value for money!

The Millennium Hotel was the perfect choice for my trip to Queenstown! My entire experience was fantastic, definitely a five-star review! 📍 Amazing Location: The hotel is right in the heart of Queenstown, just a short walk to the lake and shopping street. It was super convenient for exploring, enjoying the lake views, or heading out for activities – truly hassle-free travel. 🏨 Super Comfortable Room: I booked a deluxe family room, which was spacious and bright. The bedding was soft and clean, and the room was spotless, with not a single speck of dirt. The facilities were complete, and the view was incredible; I could enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain scenery right from my bed – so therapeutic! 💁‍♀️ Excellent Service: Everything from check-in to check-out was incredibly smooth. The front desk staff were warm and professional, proactively helping us plan our itinerary and recommending local eateries. Any requests were handled quickly, showing great attention to detail. 🌿 Wonderful Environment: The hotel's overall environment is elegant and comfortable. The common areas were clean and tidy, and the atmosphere was cozy. It's a great spot for relaxing or taking photos, truly an ideal choice for a vacation. This hotel made my Queenstown trip with friends even more perfect. I'll definitely choose it again next time and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Queenstown!

I and my husband spent a week in New Zealand. We stayed for 4 days on Amity Serviced Apartment. The one bedroom apartment is real spacious with an open kitchen and all necessary utensils. It was a great experience for us. Walking downhill to the town center is really convenient. Car parking is just right in front of the apartment. We would definitely booked this place again. I forgot to say that the serviced was really efficient and good. Thanks to the lady.
