The bus stop is close to hell. I feel very Showa, good or bad laugh The cooler is 100 yen for 2 hours, but it is often outside and hot springs 👍 If you buy the ingredients, you can enjoy hell steaming for free 🍠 It was the best!

There were few parking lots, so I went to stop at Yamada Electric in front of the station where I was contracting. It wasn't raining and there was no problem for me, but I felt it was convenient to have a pick-up car when elderly customers and bad weather were there. There is no sale of alcohol (ice), so guests who drink in the room need to shop at nearby convenience stores or supermarkets in advance. The location is excellent near the station and I would like to repeat it if I have the opportunity. The correspondence of the front desk was very good and I was able to stay comfortably.

The navigation is difficult to find and the location is remote. It is easy to find the way if you check in too late. The space is large and suitable for families. It is a bit dusty. If you mind, please consider it. There is a supermarket next to it which is very convenient.

The hot springs are fantastic, and they even have private baths available for an extra charge. Dinner was superb; we had Japanese cuisine in an elegant setting. The Japanese chef was very professional, and the dishes were outstanding. Breakfast was semi-buffet style and also delicious. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, very clean, and offer sea views.

I’m glad that we chose Amane Gahama for our family vacation because it’s spacious and the private hot spring was awesome with both in and out door options. It’s a little inconvenient that breakfast was located in the sister hotel next door, but the hotel had arranged buggy for transport which the kids are happy about it.

What an amazing place! We had a wonderful time “glamping” at the Grand Verde Resort. From first being greeted upon check in till our departure the attention to detail and hospitality were top notch! We especially loved the delicious breakfast and dinner spread, the Public Bath, and sauna, and the hobbit houses. The gorgeous views from our yurt in the mountains were breathtaking and we were able to see millions of stars at night on the clear evenings. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars!!! Highly recommend this place for your next getaway!

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beppu! The views are absolutely stunning, with rooms nestled halfway up the mountain offering panoramic sea and cityscapes. Having an open-air bath right in the room, where you can soak while enjoying the scenery, is incredibly relaxing. The hotel is within walking distance of several 'hell' attractions, which is super convenient. If you're heading to Fukuoka Airport, the airport bus stop is less than a 10-minute walk away. The service is also quite attentive. From the moment you enter, several staff members greet you, guide you to the check-in area, and then escort you to your room for a room tour. Dinner and breakfast were good; perhaps not the absolute best 'one-night, two-meals' experience I've had in Japan, but still very decent.

The room was fantastic! It's brand new and fully equipped. I was pleasantly surprised to find it even had a mini-kitchen! Since the room comes with its own hot spring bath, the dressing table was exceptionally large, which is a wonderful feature for women. All the services were excellent; I couldn't fault them. The only minor point was that dinner was a bit underwhelming and didn't quite measure up to other hot spring hotels I've experienced. The flavor was a peculiar sweet and savory mix, which might be typical of the local cuisine. Breakfast, however, was quite varied and definitely a highlight!

Location of the hotel is great. I came from Hiroshima. The journey is very long. I stayed 3 nights here. Breakfast was kinda okay, they have alot of spread. I paid for 1 x breakfast at 3300 yen. Personally i feel the price can be lower. Afew items to highlights were Tempura prawn, mentaiko, corn soup, soba and grilled beef. They have welcome drink (tea/coffee/soft drinks) for certain hours. Topup 1000 yen you can get unlimited alcohol. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the station. And also they have 2 properties . Next to each other. There’s 6 laudry machines. A sky pool, sauna and indoor bath (onsen). I can see the hotel emphasis/uses alot of technology . Your door card can be paid for many things (laundry and vending machine) including partner restaurants outside the hotels. Where you can charge the expenses to your room. There’s a touch pad in the room, for you go control lighting, air conditioning , check hotel information and even control the TV. The only downside is the touchpad is very bright. It takes too long for it to go into idle mode. The cast and mirroring was lagging for me. As for the wifi, i find it weird that it only allows in my room. I had not as for the hotel wide wifi, not sure if there’s one. The room wifi was okay. The pool on the roof was great . You can see almost the whole beppu. Sadly I did not take photos of it. It was very chill . I would definitely stay here again just for the pool and onsen. The room clothes hangers were kinda little. There’s only 4 of them. The ice machine is at L2 inbetween the fitness center and the laundry. I would like to suggest to relocate it. As it is located directly next to the smoking room. And both times I am there to collect the ice with the cup provided, I almost out of breath from the cigarette. The Washing machine had locking mechanism on it, so other guests would not take your clothes. Select checkout was brilliant, they have 2 counters for it. I ate a breakfast, did 2 laundry and one vending machine. It was calculated perfectly. The staff at the reception were very helpful . Overall the stay was good! Will stay again if I am in Beppu. Thank you .

A lovely relaxing hotel right on the Beppu beach road. There was a definite air of old seaside town about the place and it was very chill - the onsen in the hotel itself was very nice and wasn't at all busy when we were there. The breakfast however did get quite crowded with tour groups so going down later worked the best for us - if you had to go in peak time there was often a queue. The room was compact but very comfortable and had all the things needed for a comfy stay. Staff were lovely and the japanese pj's provided we're a nice touch. Fantastic location for traveling around beppu as well as arriving from Fukuoka and leaving to Oita airport. The hotel is right next to both bus stops.

The hotel is huge, so when booking, be aware that if you and your friends book separately, you might end up in different buildings. Because of its large size and multiple buildings, there's a shuttle bus service between them, running constantly with very short waiting times. Many guests need this service because the parking lots can be quite a distance from the rooms. However, we were perfectly fine with it since we only took the car out and parked it once a day; after leaving during the day, we didn't go out again once we returned. The hotel has a convenience store open until 11 PM and the hot spring is open until midnight. We stayed for two nights with two meals a day with our friends. The hotel allowed us to dine at different restaurants on each night, but it's recommended to book your meal times when checking in. Breakfast was incredibly rich, even offering sashimi rice, ice cream, and desserts. If you have a late breakfast and eat enough, you can easily skip lunch. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

My stay was made even more special by a high-floor corner room—the sea and city views were simply magnificent. There is nothing quite like the luxury of a private in-room onsen where you can soak and take in the sprawling city vistas in total serenity. Shuttle bus service is avaliable with advance reservation. The dinner and breakfast were an absolute delight. Good quality, well thought out menu deserves a special mention here. Highly recommended.
