Absolutely loved my stay at Crowne Plaza Madinah! The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Masjid an Nabawi, making it extremely convenient for prayers and visiting the holy site. The hotel truly offers a luxurious experience with excellent facilities and outstanding service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madinah, and I would definitely stay here again!

The location is quite good. It's right across the street from Al Rashid Mega Mall, the largest store in Medina, and only a 10-minute drive from Mount Uhud. There are also 24-hour mini-supermarkets nearby, so it's fairly convenient. The room was reasonably clean, and there are four elevators that run quickly, so you rarely have to wait. However, there's no room service. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

The hotel is very close to the Haram. The services inside the hotel are excellent. However, the cleanliness is far below expectations. As for check-in, we were deceived; I had booked for an 11 AM check-in but wasn't allowed in before 3 PM. The reception staff told us that the hotel's policy differs from the website's, and we were the ones who suffered because of it. Therefore, next time I'll book directly with the hotel and not through a website. Wishing you all the best.

This hotel is very suitable for those who want to stay on the green dome side, only 5 minutes walk. And the hotel is right next to saffiya museum and the new restaurants, so many good ones to choose from. The hotel is directly connected to a mall, and cheap pakistani food is also available, and lots of clothes shops. So everything is nearby. Only ladies prayer area is further away, but I didn't mind walking.

We had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced.  We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage. The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950’s/1960’s vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery).   Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us.  The view outside was heavenly mashAla.  Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they can’t.  It such an experience and you have to do it.  Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget you’re staying at the Intercontinental and imagine you’re at your friends house.  Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud.  All The cafe’s are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk.  Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all.  And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby.   Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.  They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 51 countries, aged 44.  It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at.  You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel.  If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have.   The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family.  Based off our repertoire I’d come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

The InterContinental Dar Al Iman Madinah is an excellent choice for anyone travelling to Madinah with worship in mind, who values being as close as possible to Masjid al-Nabawi, wants full service, and is willing to pay a premium for convenience and comfort. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, the staff are strong, and the location is hard to beat. If, however, your stay is more about casual tourism or you’re budget-sensitive and willing to be a little further from the Haram, you might find better value elsewhere. But if proximity and spiritual atmosphere matter to you — this hotel definitely delivers.

The check-in process took a long time, he made me wait, and was even rudely dismissive. In the end, he put me in a 4x4 room, so at least there's that. Thankfully, the Bangladeshi staff working there were polite and helpful. It felt like a random person was manning the reception that day. Maybe his dad forced him to work, so he just started bossing people around ;))). Overall, everything was fine, but it left a bad taste.

Upgraded to Junior suite Positives - 1 minute from Masjid Nabawi, courteous staff, excellent breakfast variety, large breakfast area, money exchange opposite, fridge/iron/ironing board/safe/coffee pod machine in room, elevators relatively fast, luggage storage after checking out Negatives - dated carpets and rooms, loose room fixings, smell from bathroom, noisy aircon on higher setting

Choosing this hotel was definitely the right decision! It's so close to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi; just a few meters walk and you're there. It's a bit further to the women's entrance, but that's not really an obstacle as I enjoyed the walk to the women's prayer area. I loved the atmosphere around the hotel. Right outside, there are vehicles offering rides to Quba Mosque, and nearby, you'll find the Ghamaamah Mosque, which isn't far either. Plus, it's close to shops and various restaurants.
