We had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Madinah by IHG Hotels & Resorts. The hotel is exceptionally well-located, just a short walk from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, which made it incredibly convenient for prayers, especially during this blessed time. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a peaceful environment to relax after long days. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm, respectful, and perfectly suited for visitors coming for spiritual purposes. A special thanks to Mr. Omar Mohsen, Duty Manager, and Mohammed Ziyard Firzan from the Food & Beverage team. Their service was of the highest standard — both are true assets to the IHG group. They were extremely respectful, well-spoken, and highly professional, delivering top-level customer service that truly enhanced my stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options catering to different tastes. The staff in general were welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madinah and look forward to staying here again in the future, inshaAllah.

Trip.com described Sofitel as a leading premium hotel and we were so excited to give a try. But it turned out to be not quite accurate : 1. The hotel layout, its setting in particular the lobby area and reception is so small and does not exude any premium vibes. 2. The lifts, are also quite tiny and if a wheelchair user gets in, then it feels crowded already. 3. The room once we entered was not fully ready eg wrong name displayed on tv screen, bathrobe not hung as it should be, no towels etc etc. Pls refer to the pictures attached.

The location is quite good. It's right across the street from Al Rashid Mega Mall, the largest store in Medina, and only a 10-minute drive from Mount Uhud. There are also 24-hour mini-supermarkets nearby, so it's fairly convenient. The room was reasonably clean, and there are four elevators that run quickly, so you rarely have to wait. However, there's no room service. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

Overall the stay was comfy, and we felt satisfied with the service. Easy access to the Haram. In addition, they able to take the order at the last minute was kind. EXCEPT,they provide us the wrong food (plain bread instead of garlic bread) for room service dine-in.Other than that, recommended place to stay.

It's on par with a typical Home Inn, but thankfully the location is great, very close to the Prophet's Mosque. During Ramadan, breakfast isn't served at the usual times. There's a kettle, toothbrush and toothpaste, and slippers provided. Parking is free.

We had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced.  We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage. The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950’s/1960’s vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery).   Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us.  The view outside was heavenly mashAla.  Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they can’t.  It such an experience and you have to do it.  Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget you’re staying at the Intercontinental and imagine you’re at your friends house.  Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud.  All The cafe’s are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk.  Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all.  And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby.   Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.  They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 51 countries, aged 44.  It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at.  You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel.  If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have.   The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family.  Based off our repertoire I’d come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

Our stay at InterContinental Madinah Dar Al Iman was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The hotel perfectly blends luxury, comfort, and spirituality, offering everything one could wish for when visiting the Prophet’s Mosque. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from Al-Masjid An-Nabawi, with direct access to the ladies’ and men’s prayer gates, making it incredibly convenient, especially during prayer times. The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds, soft linens, and all the amenities expected from a top tier hotel. The view of the Prophet’s Mosque from our window was breathtaking and made every moment feel extra special. Service throughout our stay was impeccable. The staff were courteous, professional, and genuinely kind, always ready to assist with a smile. Check in and checkout were smooth, and housekeeping was attentive to every detail. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of international and Middle Eastern dishes, all fresh and delicious. The restaurant staff were warm and accommodating, making sure every guest felt welcome. Overall, InterContinental Dar Al Iman truly stands out for its prime location, world class hospitality, and serene atmosphere. It’s the ideal place for anyone visiting Madinah, whether for Umrah, Hajj, or personal reflection. We left with hearts full of gratitude and peace, and we’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended! A 5-star experience in every sense!

Rooms were a bit small but clean. Staff was hospitable, polite and well mannered. Not too far but far for those with small kids and who don’t like to walk much 😄 or in the hot sun. Breakfast was in adjacent building and was reasonable. Same menu for the two days we stayed.

Choosing this hotel was definitely the right decision! It's so close to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi; just a few meters walk and you're there. It's a bit further to the women's entrance, but that's not really an obstacle as I enjoyed the walk to the women's prayer area. I loved the atmosphere around the hotel. Right outside, there are vehicles offering rides to Quba Mosque, and nearby, you'll find the Ghamaamah Mosque, which isn't far either. Plus, it's close to shops and various restaurants.
