The hotel is very beautiful, in a great location, very quiet, opposite the hot air balloon. I originally wanted to book the East Palace, but later I passed by there and was glad I booked the Hilton. It was too noisy there, and it was difficult to park. It was chaotic. We drove ourselves, and the Hilton parking was friendly! There was a security guard at the entrance!

While the hotel rooms are a bit dated, they're quite nice for Luxor. We upgraded to a deluxe room, which is very spacious, with beautiful large floor-to-ceiling windows. The public areas are beautiful and full of history. Room service is convenient, and the juices are fresh; two glasses a day is more than enough. The food is standard Western cuisine, which is considered quite good in Egypt.

Pavillon Winter Luxor is a beautiful hotel that serves as an extension to Sofitel's Winter Palace. The garden here is really beautiful and peaceful, giving guests some tranquility from the hustle of bustle of the streets of Luxor. Breakfast here is delicious and the pool was also well kept. I want to clearly note that all amenities are shared with the Winter Palace hotel, the only difference in your experience is the room you stay at (the historic palace at Sofitel or the pavilion rooms which are not a part of the original palace).

Beautiful resort hotel by the Nile River Bank. Excellent buffet breakfast which cater to a large variety of nationalities. There were French dishes, Japanese/ Asian food, English breakfast, Local Egyptian food. The free breakfast restaurant is situated right where you have an awesome view of the Nile River. There are 3 restaurants that opens until 10pm so we still had dinner after a day’s out exploring. Our rooms were clean and good wifi access. All that we needed were provided by the excellent staff. There were 10 of us so we had a total of 4 rooms and all our roooms had a nice view of the pool. There are spa and massage facilities. There are souvenirs shops inside the hotel area. It was truly a relaxing holiday.

This hotel is so beautiful. I really don’t have anything negative to say. The food is wonderful 10 out of 10. Everyone here is so kind. I dropped my passport here, and I realize this once I got to the airport. The staff searched for it and gave it to my guide. I made my flight on time! I’m so thankful. 

The hotel location is great, situated on a clean street. The rooms are lovely, and I particularly liked the bathroom facilities. The staff were all very friendly! Since we drove there, the hotel security guard even directed us to a free and safe parking spot (as the hotel doesn't have its own parking). Much appreciated!

Joie Ville was wonderful. Our Nile View room could not have been better located stunning views. We opted for half board and the buffet evening meal and breakfast had plenty of options and was of good quality. We also ate from the pool bar and bought drinks - exceptional prices for everything. The ability to call for a golf cart to collect you and take you around the large estate was a welcome addition in the August heat. We are already planning another Luxor trip and wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

The hotel has a really nice location with a beautiful river view, which we truly enjoyed. The breakfast was also very good and satisfying. However, we found that the staff was not very helpful when it came to cleaning up the tables during breakfast, and the room was a bit noisy due to outside traffic, which affected our sleep. At reception, the personnel provided good service and quality assistance. One issue we encountered was during the booking process through Trip.com: we reserved a double bed room expecting it to accommodate two people, but upon arrival, we were informed that the double bed room was only for one person. We had to pay an additional charge to stay as two guests, which was unexpected and could have been clarified earlier. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but clearer communication about room occupancy policies and soundproofing improvements would enhance the experience.

Luxor is an ancient city, so one shouldn't set expectations too high for hotels. This one, located right on the Nile, is old but well-maintained, not dilapidated. The sheets were decent, and the air conditioning wasn't noisy. All things considered, it's not bad at all. Plus, the hotel is quite spacious. And the Nile is right outside the door.

I think this is the only good value, clean hotel near Luxor's tourist attractions. There's a 5-star hotel next door, so there are plenty of police, which is reassuring. Breakfast was more of a bread buffet. You can borrow a hairdryer at the front desk. There's also a pool, so you can do a quick tour and then go for a dip in the evening. Since I was traveling alone, there were a lot of taxi and horse-drawn carriage solicitations when I left the hotel, but it's also possible to walk to the tourist attractions. There's a KFC nearby and a McDonald's near Luxor Temple, so I didn't have any trouble finding food. You can also get koshari at restaurants or just walk a little further!
