Overall, the service process was much smoother than the previous two times. The arrival, departure, and pick-up services were of a five-star hotel standard. The main reason for choosing this hotel was that the Qinmei Christmas Village activities were right downstairs, which was very convenient.

The attitude of the service staff at the counter, restaurant, and handicraft workshop is very good ~ the rich chicken set dinner is also good, the handmade towel dog is also very interesting, the room is comfortable and the bed is very comfortable.

We booked a one-night stay in a SPA-themed room with two double beds. We checked into the hotel at 7:35 PM on July 24th. Upon entering the room, we discovered the toilet wasn't flushing and there was no cold water in the private hot spring bathroom. We immediately notified the front desk, and hotel staff promptly came to fix it. They explained it might have been due to a water supply issue. Since the hot spring bathroom only had scalding hot water and no cold, it was impossible to take a bath. After urgent repairs, both hot and cold water were restored around 11:15 PM. However, by midnight, the toilet started leaking non-stop (it was still leaking when we checked out). Upon waking up in the morning, we were very concerned about a potential electrical hazard. Paying such a high price for a hotel with so many faulty facilities was truly not worth it. After checking out, the hotel offered us a pudding as an apology. However, this experience was utterly unsatisfactory, leaving a very poor impression of the hotel's facilities and overall quality. We definitely won't be returning.

Great for family trip. The service of room was satisfying and quite fast. As soon as we enter our room in third floor, we noticed the size of slippers provided was too large. To our surprise, they took care of the problem almost immediately. I will give the service five star. As for the swimming pool, the quality of water is also good enough for children in 6-12 age group. BTW, thanks for the swimming pool service people. They gave us medication for mosquito biting in emergency. Surely recommended for family trip destination.

Take parents to celebrate the golden wedding and relax. It didn’t take long to stay at 3 pm. I was soaked. I was hungry at 6 or 7 in the evening. There was a buffet above the standard. I've stayed here several times now. It's a hotel with a good value for money. The public lounge area in the lobby is great for meeting clients, and they offer free coffee and snacks. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Elegant and suitable for business discussions. Service: Enthusiastic service. Facilities: Complete basic amenities.

There were many hotels at Chaofu road because I wanted to stay somewhere near the shopping malls like ShinKong Mitsushita and The Lin would be the best option. I highly recommend this hotel because breakfast has a good spread, the team was excellent, helpful and they tried their best in their every way! We had a great stay at Freshfields Hotel in Taichung. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, nicely maintained and very comfortable. While the location isn’t the most convenient, the hotel offers shuttle services that you can book in advance, which made getting around much easier. A heads-up for anyone planning to use the public baths: make sure to bring a swimming cap or shower cap, as well as a swimsuit. If you forget, you’ll need to purchase them at the hotel in order to use the facilities. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience!

The hotel is a couple of bus stops from Taichung Station. It's within walking distance to Fengjia Night Market and the National Museum of Natural Science. The room itself is a bit dated, but the facilities are complete with a gym and pool. The breakfast matches the price point.

An exceptional place to enjoy the high mountains of Taiwan and the atmosphere of old times. We lived in a place full of history and enjoyed the well preserved guest house and most caring service. The surrounding gives large variety of well prepared hikes. We enjoyed the time so much :-))
