The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club Map, Address, Transportation & Nearest Stations and Airport

We’ve arrived last Saturday 2 of September after paying, in advance, for five nights with my wife’s debit card. Upon arrival, they’ve also asked us to give a credit card to charge the amount of $500 for any incidentals, which would be returned back once we do the check out. All this was perfect until today, which is the third day of our stay. My wife had just found that the hotel took an additional $1,000 from her debit card. When we went to ask the receptionist about why they took this money from her, the guy just said to us that the system acts sometimes crazy and can perfectly take out from your debit card this type of amount without further notice. He said that the amount would suppose to be reimbursed once we do the check out. However, this doesn't make any sense to us. We already gave a credit card where they already charged $500 and my wife needed that money that they took out from her! We asked to speak to a manager and the receptionist said that no one is available to speak to us until two days from now, which also doesnt make any sense for a four star hotel!! It’s unacceptable that an establishment might take from your debit card $1,000 without further notice only giving as an excuse that the system sometimes acts weird!! We already paid for the five nights in advance and charged us $500 for potential incidentals in our credit card. What is the excuse for taking out the additional $1,000??? We need a response right now about this!!! You cannot retain someone's else’s money without his/her permit. Its the first times in our lives that this happens to us in a hotel and we travel a lot! We need a response asap!!
