All right, good location, very large and clean space. If you look for views, it is not the best apartment. It is a 10th floor and you don't see the skyline. The pool is always full of people and many children, from where you see Merdeka 118 but the normal in KL. The gym is a small gym to make a basic routine.

I had few days training in this hotel and stayed overnight. The overall experience is pleasant, clean room, spacious high ceiling (dont mind a bit old fashion). Pricing is slightly lower than nearby other 4-5 star hotels, which are nearer to Bukit Bintang shopping area. The good fashion means they come with amenities kit, small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, dental kits, shower caps, comb, etc. Bottles of water and also filter bacfree tap for clean water are available. Enjoyed the iftar buffet/buka puasa buffet, although quite pricey. True Malaysian food stalls, maybe over 30 selections of food types.

Trip began with a late check in of around an hour. We requested for a connected room beforehand, which we reconfirmed at the counter, and they confirmed it. Upon reaching the room, the room was not connected. They later mentioned the queen room type did not have connecting rooms. The room phone was faulty and unable to make any calls, including between rooms and to front desk. Told them about the issue, which they failed to send someone to the room to check despite them saying they will follow up. Queen room with twin bed: The room bathroom had signs of ageing, tiles with uneven grouting and dirt, tight and constraining room. However, breakfast buffet and overall interior was nice and well maintained. Hotel amenities like the gym and pool was nice and good to use.

We enjoyed our stay at Oakwood Hotel. The room was spacious and even came with a small living area, which made it feel extra comfortable. The toilet was large too, with a separate bathtub and standing shower. Hot water worked perfectly and the water pressure was strong – definitely a plus. There was also a pantry area equipped with filtered water, an electric kettle, and a microwave, which was very convenient. The hotel has a pool as well, though our schedule was too packed to fully utilise it. One thing to note is that the TV could use an upgrade, as the image wasn’t very sharp and the colours sometimes shifted. It didn’t affect us much since we were mostly on our phones anyway. Another minor downside is that the lift doesn’t go to B1, where most of the parking lots are, so it requires a bit of extra walking. Overall, a comfortable and well-equipped stay with great room space and facilities. Would consider returning!
