The main floor includes the bedroom (queen bed) and bathroom, a living and dining room, as well as a chef's kitchen with access to the backyard. Upstairs includes a living room with a panoramic view, many books and a large flat-screen TV for evenings when you prefer to stay home.

The bedroom has a queen bed, a tempurpedic mattress, Coyuchi organic cotton sheets, many down and termpurpedic pillows, and a down comforter. The bathroom has excellent water pressure and volume in the shower and tub, and soft Coyuchi organic cotton towels in which to wrap your body.

The fully stocked gourmet kitchen has a chef range, espresso machine, and a dishwasher.

In the backyard, surrounded in jasmine and with a view of the city and bay, is an outdoor shower with warm water flowing from a large rain shower-head.

The hotel left a mixed impression. The building itself is quite old, which is noticeable throughout the property. The air conditioning in the room was not working, making it very hot and uncomfortable, especially at night. The gym is also in poor condition — the equipment is outdated and needs renovation. Housekeeping was consistent, but the cleaner came every morning at 9:00 AM, which was not always convenient and sometimes disturbed our rest. On the positive side, the hotel has a bar with surprisingly good food — that was definitely a highlight. The staff were also very friendly, polite, and helpful. Overall, the hotel might be okay if you don’t mind outdated conditions, but for the price, I expected a higher level of comfort.

Pros: Great central location with easy access to transportation. The hotel has key card access and a gym. Cons: The room facilities are a bit old, and there's no dedicated space for luggage. There are homeless people downstairs, but it's generally safe. Soundproofing is poor; street noise, especially loud cars, can be disruptive. The room lights are motion-sensor activated and turn off automatically. The bathroom ventilation doesn't work well. No complimentary bottled water. Breakfast is served at the restaurant next door, and tipping can sometimes lead to awkward situations.

Great location next to Fisherman's Warf (which is next to the Ghirardelli square and the trolley stop and the piers and several food places). Overnight parking is available for a fee and their valet service was pretty quick. The room was large and comfortable. I didn't try the restaurant or bar, so no comments about them; it did look nice and was full of people one of the nights. No homeless people were around the hotel but when you get a couple blocks away you have to deal with that.

Very centrally located. We had requested a quiet room and that's exactly what we got. Both the bed and the sofa bed were very comfortable. The small kitchen was also a nice touch and well-equipped for a short stay. The rooftop terrace with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate was amazing. We didn't use the sauna or fitness area, but they looked very inviting!

Great location near Union Square and public transport. Room is ideal for 2 adults and 1-2 younger kids. We booked quad share with 2 older kids and it was rather tight. The sofa bed wasn't ideal and somehow the advertised 37 sqm room felt squeezed. On the upside, hotel staff was very friendly and genuinely helpful. For the discounted rate I got from Trip.com, would book again.

Hotel location is very good. It will be a trip to Jiuquhua Street. It is not far from Fisherman's Wharf. It can be reached on foot. The hotel facilities are old. The bed linen pillowcase is not very clean. The breakfast is extremely simple. Only the horns and coffee bring the 7-year-old child.

It is an old hotel, but there is no dirty impression of the hotel itself. The service level was not particularly dissatisfied. The parking fee is relatively expensive, but it is near San Francisco, near Union Square, so it is understandable. In addition, the hotel is in the form of a vacation. It is not cleaned daily. The good place is a self-service free laundry room. The room is large enough. There is a living room and a restaurant. You can cook yourself with a microwave.

The hotel where the conference was held, but there was a bug between the agent and the hotel. One room could not be checked in. After a long communication, the front desk service attitude was not very good, and the back-end phone could not be reached. Fortunately, it was well negotiated with Ctrip. The room is relatively small and the settings are relatively old. After all, it is a century-old hotel. The laundry is all from Le Labo, but it is not bad. The breakfast restaurant is not a buffet, and the introduction is incorrect. The ordering and serving are very slow, maybe it is a sense of relaxation. The location of the hotel is good, but it is very close to the tram route, and the Inception camera is one or two blocks away.

The location is absolutely superb, right in the heart of the city. Union Square is just a right turn out of the hotel entrance, and the cable car terminus is only a few minutes' walk away. Dining options are abundant and convenient nearby, and Chinatown is also within easy walking distance. Overall, the hotel is pretty decent. The only downsides were the slightly small room and weak shower pressure. I also paid an extra $20 for early check-in, even though it was already past 12 PM. Guests staying at the hotel receive discount vouchers for dining at the hotel restaurant, which was a nice perk. The room offered an unbeatable view. Overall, it's worth recommending.

The room layout was nice but nothing special. The pool was very nice, so was the gym. Dining options could be better. Also dining is quite expensive for what you get. Friendlyness of the staff in dining area was ok, but not as great as at reception. -Overall: recommended for a business traveller who need not worry about the price; for tourists (esp. families) to SF there are probably better options.

Nice boutique hotel, rooms are small bathrooms are small. No air-conditioning in the rooms can’t cool down on a warm day. Our window was broken and wouldn’t open or close. It was stuck in the semi open position, which allowed for lots of sirens and noise. The main street nearby has constant sirens on weekend nights. Bathroom door would not shut. Bring a White Noise machine or app on your phone. There is a ceiling fan that helps cool . Staff are super friendly and Hotel had really good vibes.

The hotel's location is pretty good, within walking distance to Powell Street and just a minute's walk to the Hilton. It's a fairly large hotel. I really appreciate having an ATM in the basement, though there's about a $4 fee if you use a Travelodge card. There was a deposit at check-in, which was successfully cancelled on my card a day after check-out. The staff were all pleasant, and the lounge area in the lobby is really well-designed. There's a restaurant on the first floor that seems to serve breakfast and also operates as a bar in the evenings, which is great for a safe nightcap. Housekeeping was adequate, but there's no toothpaste, toothbrush, or room slippers among the amenities. Even with the heating turned all the way up, it was a bit chilly at night. There's no master switch for the room lights, so I had to turn each one on manually, and overall the room was quite dim. There's a mini-fridge, and one can of water is provided; it seems they replenish it if you leave the empty can as trash. I would definitely stay here again.

I really hate to leave a negative review, I never like doing it, but sometimes it's just necessary. I booked and paid for a deluxe room with a king-sized bed. After a very long journey and terrible jet lag, I was really looking forward to some comfort. Instead, I was given a standard room with a double bed, which made getting any rest impossible. When I complained, they told me the hotel doesn't offer deluxe rooms through third-party platforms... so how did I manage to book one then? They didn't offer any solutions, and I ended up spending 3 nights in a room type different from what I believed I had paid for. Two other things I disliked: the general smell of the hotel (to me it smelled like pee, but that might be subjective). The odor was really unpleasant for me. The second issue was the air conditioning. It was incredibly noisy all night, even after I turned it off (I don't understand how that's possible). The facilities feel very old, which (along with the smell) made the place seem dirty. The staff, however, were very friendly, I can't deny that. I truly regret having to leave this review, but it's an honest account of my experience.

This is the best W Hotel I've ever stayed at. The location is fantastic, right next to SFMoMA. The hotel even includes two tickets (worth $60), which is great for seeing the exhibition. Booked the presidential suit and the view was amazing! The room was very spacious and very ambient (which lacks some lighting). I was surprised there was not a microwave, but something to keep in mind. Also there is not a light directly next to the shower. The fridge was small and its shelves were a bit wobbly. Otherwise, it’s worth the price to book and the location was perfect.

This week we stayed at Hyatt House San Jose Airport, Hyatt Centric Fishermans Wharf and Hyatt House Santa Clara I am very satisfied with San Jose Airport and Santa Clara, but Fishermans Wharf is the only thing that makes me angry and I feel I have to write a special review to reflect it. The angry part is about the service, and the reasons for dissatisfaction are as follows: 1. When I checked in that day, they said they were still cleaning and asked me if I wanted to change rooms. I decided to wait and go out for a walk. As a result, when I came back the second time, they said there were no rooms and forced me to accept the change from the original king-size double bed to two single beds. 2. The room I booked comes with two breakfasts, but I didn't get any meal coupons when I checked in. When I returned to my room, I called the front desk and they told me that they forgot to give it to me and asked me to go down and get it. When I went to get it, I was only given a meal voucher for one person. When I asked about it, they asked me if I was staying for only one night. After I reflected that my purchase included a meal voucher for two, he casually said Fine to me, as if he was giving me alms? 3. When I checked out of each room, I asked the front desk to give me a receipt. At Hyatt House San Jose Airport, they patiently explained to me that I had to get a receipt from Trip.com because I booked the room through a third-party website. But when I arrived at Fishermans Wharf, they just told me impatiently that they only had a blank receipt and refused to talk to me anymore. When I asked if it was because I booked through trip, the customer interrupted me and said just print a blank receipt for me. Then he gave me a blank receipt and told me to leave. This is really the worst accommodation experience I have ever had in my life, especially for a Hyatt hotel. The front desk staff at the other two hotels were very polite and patient. There is really no comparison and no harm. I strongly suggest that Fishermans Wharf replace the front desk staff and find someone more enthusiastic to serve the front desk, otherwise it will only continue to ruin your reputation. The front desk staff I'm talking about here include the night shift on the night I checked in and the morning shift the next day, they were all terrible!

They are all nice polite and communicable . Location is self-evidently very very excellent. Just behind the main gate of world famous SF Chinatown. Compared to the comparable location of hotels/motels in New York, this is definitely an underpriced one. easy to get access to public transport/food/tour spots.
