The room is very big, fully equipped with kitchen and cooking tools. It is within walking distance to the city hall and surrounding attractions! There is a parking lot but it is charged. It would be perfect if free parking was available! I met a cute deer in the parking lot

The location was very good, but the amenities were minimal. I thought there would be at least a bathrobe and slippers, but maybe I was being naive. Luckily I brought my own toothbrush set. The comforter was just a towel blanket on the sheet, which was disappointing. But it was cheap and in a good location, so I was satisfied.

The desired revisit came true for the first time in four years ✨ Delicious breakfast in a cute room. I had a very healing time. I was very happy that Japanese people were working and I was able to talk a lot. It's a little far from downtown Victoria, but I think it's the best place to enjoy the extraordinary. I look forward to seeing you again.

Because of work, I often live in Victoria, and this small hotel is probably the worst of all. All aspects of the facilities are dilapidated, the room surface is not dirty but does not feel at ease. Of course, in a word, it is more reliable to have a regular hotel hotel.

We visited the hotel for our Duex Days event and overall had a pleasant experience. The valet parking was smooth and professional, and the hotel staff were generally polite and courteous. However, one aspect could be improved: flexibility at check-in. I was running a bit late, so my husband, who shares the same last name and was on the reservation, tried to check in ahead of me. Despite offering to send a photo of my ID and confirming the reservation details, the front desk staff insisted that I had to be there in person. I understand the importance of security, but a bit more flexibility or alternative verification methods would have made the process more convenient and guest-friendly. Aside from that, our stay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the service and atmosphere overall.

The environment is first-class, in the heart of the old city port area, across the street from the city's landmark Parliament Building. However, the facilities are a bit old, especially the air conditioner, which is a bit noisy. Some waiters have good service attitudes.

The moment you arrive at the hotel, you feel right at home. It's a small boutique hotel with a European flair. Imagine staying at grandma's house, where everything is taken care of and all you have to do is sit back, relax, and soak up the cozy atmosphere. We stayed on the second floor, and I'd like to point out that this hotel does not have an elevator. This hotel has a recreation room, a small restaurant attached to the main house, an outdoor seating area for breakfast, a small bar, and a gift shop. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We had an excellent stay. The location of the hotel is also important to consider. It is a short walk from downtown Victoria, where the main shopping street is located.

Initially, the Indian receptionist gave me a room with a terrible view. I repeatedly confirmed with her that I had booked a lake-view room, and she kept telling me it was! But when I got to the room, I was dumbfounded 🙄… a tiny, obstructed view, blocked by three trees, and facing the parking lot! So I went downstairs, and another receptionist greeted me, apologized, and then moved me to a room in the center of the room. Finally, I was satisfied 😀. The room facilities were old, but the view and location were unbeatable. Victoria Island is perfect for a slow-paced vacation.
- weiyan****
I wouldn't recommend this hotel. First, it's across from Parliament House, a 10-minute drive or a 30-minute walk. Parking costs CAD 32 per night. The soundproofing is terrible; you can clearly hear doors opening in the next room and water flushing in the bathroom. If people are staying on either side, you'll hear showering and running water on your left and people chatting and opening doors on your right—you won't be able to sleep at all. Remember to bring slippers, toothpaste, and a toothbrush; they don't provide them. If possible, choose to stay near Parliament House.

This was a nightmarish trip, 1st I had asked for a room on the highest floor possible, with a view of the Harbour, I am a photographer and made the trip to Victoria to get some great photos of the inner Harbour. I got a room on tenth floor overlooking the parking lot and side street. The windows were so dirty it was hard to see anything, in my eyes I was ripped off, I am not going to to stay at any Merriott hotels, at the time of my booking it said they had a buffet breakfast and when I arrived they told me there is no buffet breakfast just a restaurant on site, parking was said to be free self parking. I was charged $29.40 / night to self park my truck.

Victoria is not big. This hotel is located in the heart of downtown, and you can basically walk everywhere. Within 10 minutes of leaving the hotel, you can see all the scenery near the Inner Harbour. There are countless high-quality restaurants. Apart from the price being a little high during peak season, there is almost no disadvantage.

The location of this hotel is superb! We took Uber direct from Victoria Airport to hotel only 37 mins. Connector bus terminal just right at the corner which we took on the way back direct to Vancouver Airport. It is right at the center of downtown, walking distance can reach major Victoria's key tourist destinations and very accessible to many eateries nearby. The hotel is clean and simple, but not too many facilities. Only have one Starbucks and a Pizza corners serving breakfast and pizza in evening. But with the accessible location, its all good. I will definitely return since its really a convenient location with value for money room rate.

phenomenal experience at this amazing hotel. All the staff were so sweet and amazing. The indian front desk consoled us in the middle of the night at 4am when we thought the hotel was ******* (it wasn’t’t it’s just us). The hotel offered free gummy bears in the lobby, and when we asked for more, they gave us a whole bag!!! (1 kg, selling for 13 bucks on amazon) The gummies are also such good quality they melt right in my mouth when you put them in. The amenities are so chic and high quality i could eat a child. (my friend typed this idk what she meant) The kitchen equipment is also quite well. The staff also helped us scared a ghost away, we slept like a baby the second night after bathing in the tub. no ac was a bunmer tho.🤞🤞😩😩

Hotel in good position for visiting the city, very easy access from Seattle ferry, hop on bus tour and museum etc  walkable to main shops and restaurants.  Front hotel rooms would have great views of the harbour etc.  room comfort was ok but furniture dated.  Main issue was problem with the service lift which was immediately behind the room.  We had specifically asked for a quiet room.  Front desk took care to make sure we were away from the public lift, which was fine….. but didn’t take in to account the staff service lift right next to room 829. Constant ‘clunking’ and machinery sounds right next to the bed. Front desk sent up ‘maintenance’ who initially said it was the ice machine but then agreed and admitted there were previous complaints about the lift noise. New room found after a worrying wait and all ok but hassle and repacking etc all unnecessary inconvenience. Especially having asked for a quiet room location .  Otherwise a good hotel and location.

I was in Victoria for a conference at the Conference Center, and Chateau Victoria's location couldn't have been better! Perfect walking distance with great stops for coffee, lunch, or dinner along the way. The Chateau staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with all questions I had and you HAVE to visit the restaurant, Vista 18. There isn't a bad seat in the house with windows overlooking the town in all directions. My server, Scott, gave a fantastic dinner choice (halibut) which ranks in one of the top 10 meals I've ever had! Excellent wine and cocktail choices as well as desserts - as tasty as they are visually delightful. My room had everything I needed including a Nespresso and a small fridge. I WILL BE BACK! 5 stars.

This hotel is the most detailed hotel I have stayed in Canada! The location is on the pedestrian street, the decoration is exquisite, the bath is full of L’Occitane, and there are two pairs of slippers! Loved, coffee is also a very good brand. I would like to share my experience at this hotel are clean, we manged to get free upgrade to suite. The location is very convenient for accessing various tourist attractions. Directly across the street, you'll find ramen, Subway, Burger King, and several other dining options. It's just a 5-minute walk to Government Street and a shopping mall. The hotel offers a complimentary premium coffee and hot chocolate maker for guests. Although breakfast is not included, you can enjoy delicious meals at The Ruby, a well-rated restaurant conveniently situated next to the lobby. If you plan to cook, the nearest grocery Supermart, located 1.2 km away. The Prime of Whale booking site is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The butchart garden is about 45mins bus ride from our hotel bus stop 180m away from our hotel. The service staff was very friendly, which I appreciated. But there are a lot of homeless people nearby, which is disturbing. The room has no ventilation, seems to have not been cleaned, and the facilities are also very poor. Since I booked the hotel at the last minute and the price was not high, I accepted it. The hotel has two locks, but the odd tenant is a little unsettling. Thank you very much to the receptionist for changing me to a more suitable room! If I were given a choice again, I would not choose this hotel. I still appreciate every service member's help. Breakfast is a simple buffet with hard-boiled eggs, toast and juice. Dinner was simple rice with sauce on top. There are many supermarkets nearby. You can choose to go shopping on your own, but be sure to avoid the hordes of homeless people.

Facilities: There is a coffee machine, air conditioning, a 1.8-meter bed and a sofa bed of about 1.35 meters. My friend booked another hotel, which advertised a double bed, but it was actually two 1.35-meter beds. Compared with the hotel he booked, the room here is very spacious. In general, the price-performance ratio is good. Hygiene: relatively clean Environment: convenient parking Service: The waiter helped to open the sofa bed. When he saw that I brought 4 children, he took the initiative to ask me if I wanted to add another blanket. Because the coffee machine and air conditioning were used at the same time, the power was cut off. The front desk guy was very good and went upstairs to solve the problem quickly with one phone call. Wi-Fi requires a code. I said it was a bit difficult to understand on the phone, and he sent it to me again. Breakfast: Foreign breakfasts cannot be compared with domestic ones. I entered the breakfast room and searched for a long time before I found bread slices and yogurt. Coffee milk is standard, and eggs need to be asked by the waiter. However, it is good for a budget hotel to include breakfast.
