The staff is quite nice & helpful. The spa and gym is quite nice, and breakfast is good too.
However, my mom found a little dirty stuff in the shower when she first got into her room. That's a minus.

We booked two Comfort Rooms for our family of four and were happy that the hotel assigned us two rooms right next to each other. That made things much more convenient for us.
The rooms themselves were quite small, though. Once we opened a large suitcase, there was barely any floor space left. The bathroom was also on the small side. On the positive side, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and we slept well during our stay.
A nice touch was the complimentary minibar, which included a few soft drinks, a bottle of beer, and two small bottles of water (one still and one sparkling).
It’s hard for me to judge the location overall, but there is a tram stop nearby. Tram 19 provides easy access to places such as Marienplatz and other parts of the city. We also used Uber to travel to and from Munich Central Station, which cost around €16–20 each way.
Breakfast was decent. The highlight was definitely the egg station—the freshly cooked fried eggs were delicious. The bread selection, however, was fairly basic and not particularly exciting.
Overall, it was a bit disappointing as we expected more from a 4-star hotel.FromSEK 1,033

I stayed at the Charles Hotel in Munich on Christmas Eve on 12.24. The location is very convenient next to the city center. There are service staff to help park the car and bring luggage into the room. The front desk staff offered a welcome Christmas drink, as well as warm and caring service throughout the process. The hotel has a historical atmosphere, the rooms are relatively modern, the small balcony can see the park view, and the mood is super good when the sun shines in the room in the morning. I booked the Christmas dinner at the restaurant Sophia's in the hotel in advance. The food is not bad, not bad. There are quite a variety of breakfasts. In addition to the buffets that can be seen in Europe, there are also Bavarian set meals to try. Generally speaking, the hotel is quite cost-effective and will not step on thunder. An excellent hotel with a superb location! We took the Lufthansa Express bus from Terminal 2, which I highly recommend. It stops right at the hotel entrance, saving us the hassle of lugging luggage from the train station. Plus, the subway is right next door. The breakfast was very clean and tasty; although the variety wasn't extensive, it had most of the items you'd expect from a Western buffet. The front desk staff were also very warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the German guests weren't as aloof as I'd heard; everyone was quite friendly and helpful. At breakfast, when I had trouble lifting the lids for food, they kindly offered to help, which was lovely. The room was a bit small and lacked amenities like slippers, tissues, a kettle, toothpaste, and toothbrushes, so it's best to come prepared. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk to Pasing train station, and Pasing Arcaden is also quickly accessible. Unfortunately, the hotel is very noisy, which severely disturbed my sleep as you could literally hear everything from the neighboring rooms. The double bed was made of two single mattresses with a gap in between. On Sunday, room service started cleaning the neighboring rooms and so on as early as 9 AM, making it impossible to sleep in. Unfortunately, the room (404) had a very intense mothball/naphthalene smell. But like VERY INTENSE. It was noticeable even before entering and was strong enough that all of my belongings absorbed the odor. It was quite unbearable at times and significantly affected the overall experience. I felt bad going out because I had the perception I smelled of naphthalene all the time.
Aside from that, the hostel itself is beautiful, modern, and very clean, with great storage and well-maintained facilities. The common areas are really cool and thoughtfully designed, and although the kitchen is small, it’s perfectly functional.
I hope management looks into the ventilation or cleaning products used, because otherwise this would be a very enjoyable place to stay.FromSEK 254

The hotel service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. However, the cleanliness could be improved. We left used coffee glasses in the room and they were not replaced or washed. We also noticed a hole in the blanket and some yellow stains. We asked for a toothbrush, but were told there was no stock, which was a bit surprising for a Pullman.
