The facility was great and it was beautiful and it did offer a number of amenities but I will be honest the service wasn’t the greatest. I felt as if as a paying customer I was constantly being treated like I was a burden for asking for things like “extending my say” I don’t want to generalize and say it was all the workers there was a man named “Chan” who had a very passive aggressive attitude with me and other people there. I understand that it’s a 5 star resort and it is on the pricier side but it constantly felt like they were also trying to capitalize on the necessities you’ll need because it is on an isolated island. (Word of advice go to the local village for things like pharmacy needs, cosmetic and booking boats and excursions it’s 10 times cheaper.) At the resort they will do things like charge nearly 30$ for a bottle of sunscreen at the gift shop because they know you’ll need it. Going back to this I tried to extend my stay with them and Chan told me I was going to have to pay double the original price if I wanted to stay another night I quickly went online and saw that it was half the price that he quoted and just immediately felt quite put off and like he was doing whatever possible to milk us financially when we are already being generous and willing customers. I was in a group of four people and everyone in my group had stomach issues after eating at the breakfast buffet so that was a problem as well. We were also not told that on the resort is a mosque and you will be woken up to the call of prayer frequently. I have no problem with people exercising there religious traditions I would just like a forewarning about being woken at 5AM to hear the it.

The hotel is beautiful, in front of the ocean, nice rooms (though small), nice restaurant, friendly staff, pool is great too. But acustics are an issue in the hotel, the beautiful bamboo huts are zero sound proof you can hear your neighborgs breathing, and that wouldn’t be so bad if the extra loud cheap trance music from the bars nearby didn’t come in feeling like it’s in your room and accounting for terrible sleep. this was specially worse for me as I had a room with pool/sea view at row 1 and sound just went in there, I asked to change rooms and they did and at row 5  i had a much better sleep. It’s sad because this is not the hotel’s fault but municipality should really do something about the bars, it really messes the entire Phi Phi paradise experience.

A lovely hotel on a beautiful and very quiet part of Phi Phi. If you are looking for somewhere to totally unwind, a romantic holiday or somewhere quiet for the family then this is for you! It's away from the main nightlife of Phi Phi and there are no taxis only taxi boats. I don't think they would go at night. There was some very quiet and gentle musical entertainment most nights.

Our stay at Bayview was fine for the 3 days…we were hardly at our room though. The location is fabulous- close enough to walk to the hustle and bustle of restaurants, the pier and entertainment. If you have little children the walk could be lengthy.. but was fine for us. It is the last resort before the famous Long Beach so there is a lot of foot traffic to Long Beach each day in the peak season. We stayed in a garden view room at peak time, it was okay.. but the room smelt musty, there was cockroaches in the bathroom and the shower didn’t really work. The resort also fumigates each room daily because of the bugs and insects- all these chemicals are not good for us ( in my opinion) and the resort should forewarn travellers or improve their facilities instead of spraying chemicals every day. The room had TV and YouTube and good but noisy AC. Bring your own beach towel if you can. The resort makes you check in and check out beach towels, but they were more like rags in my opinion with rips and tears. If your mobility is challenged this is not the resort for you. The resort is quite spread out. There is steep, steep paths and steps to most rooms and only the very few front rooms do not require such effort to get to your accommodation. I’d recommend stating this on your booking or confirming with the resort before you book if you don’t want to be hiking up to your room each day. Overall, a bearable place to stay for 3 days as we were mostly out each day but the resort could do with a major upgrade and improvements to its facilities.

If your budget is not very tight and you can afford something else I would suggest you should. The water in the shower was pretty cold and the shower broke down 2 times in a stay of 3 nights. When you open the water in the shower the light barely works, and the technician told me it should be that way because of the water heating system which still doesn’t does its job. It’s extremely noisy at night until something like 3am and at the morning there are works around since 7am. The staff are nice though. They are also waiting for you at the pier to help with luggage.

The location is nice with the great view from the reception, at least. We got a room with no view, though. They provide service when they can deliver baggage from the pier to the reception of the hotel (see the attached picture). You have to be prepared to climb stairs. There were around 150 stairs to our room. However, the view is worth it. Overall, the room is pretty big with all the necessary things. They also delivered our suitcases to the pier on the checkout date. Good place for the good price! We had a moonshine and asked for the room with a good view, however, they didn't provide us that type of room.

This was a really cute bungalow on the beach, which added to our experience of staying on Phi Phi. However, the bed was rock hard and the air con kept switching itself off in the night so we kept waking up sweating! The light from it was also really bright so I had to wear an eye mask to sleep. You can also hear the whole island from your hut, and a lot of the Thai residents were working at night nearby, so it was very noisy and required ear plugs! There were lots of little bugs in the woodwork mainly, the shower wasn’t great and got the bathroom very wet. Also, any trips or taxi boats were quite expensive from the woman at reception, we managed to get a 4hr private long tail for 2300baht total. A lot of these things were to be expected, and isn’t too much of a complaint against the resort itself, but something for you to bear in mind when choosing to stay here.

If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday with a private beach, delicious food and waking up with a sea view: this is the right place. We stayed for 3 nights, it was like landing on paradise. The hotel has their own long tail boats with pick up service from Phi phi island port. Breakfast: sweet and savory Lunch: menu a la carte with Thai dishes and western options Dinner: menu a la carte + fresh fish of the day If you feel like hiking you can do it directly from the hotel and reach a viewpoint. Our room didn’t have aircon but it’s quite chilly at night so it was perfect. Snorkeling is possible right near the beach, you see the same fish (blue and yellow, some very colorful..) near other islands just not as many. The hotel offers daily trips, very well organized, we took a one day trip to Maya Beach, Bamboo island.. highly recommend! On Saturday night there was a fire show: it was absolutely wonderful!

The room was nice but dated and needs a renovation. The bathroom was pretty poor though with really mouldy shower that leaked all over the floor and a broken toilet seat. The staff however were brilliant at trying to resolve it but unfortunately couldn't so we came to an alternative arrangement, which was appreciated. We selected a waterfront room and it was wonderful. We loved the room and the views. However, we found very uncomfortable that upon arrival there was a topless woman with her boobs out which is really bad for a couple to have that view when looking at the beach - so maybe, since it is a small beach that’s part of the resort, topless or nudity should not be allowed. The service was also impeccable as well as the food. Our tip: place a bucket in front of the front door so we can fill it with water to clean our feet from the beach sand before entering the room. Our room was always full of sand inside. Another long term change that could be considered is the mattress quality - it is quite hard and not so comfortable. Otherwise, everything in this hotel was perfect: food, room, service, super calm, cleanliness, etc. My husband and I would surely come back!

This hotel is located in the northern part of Koh Phi Phi, which isn't connected to the south. I didn't realize this when I booked. The south has markets, 7-Eleven, bars, shops, and more, while here there are only two small shops and the hotel's own bar. Dining options in the north are sparse and very expensive, with meals starting at 1000 baht. There's practically no nightlife here, just two resorts. The hotel is quite old, and it's almost always fully booked with foreign guests. Transportation within the hotel is very inconvenient. We stayed on a hillside, and the hotel's shuttle service was pretty much non-existent; several times we waited over 10 minutes with no sign of it. We ended up walking to breakfast and the lobby every time. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the lobby at night. We couldn't book a massage here either and had to go to the neighboring hotel, where prices ranged from 600-1000 baht. The hotel does have a snorkeling area, but I recommend buying water shoes as it's quite shallow and easy to get scrapes. The upsides are that it's quiet and the views are nice. Breakfast was also delicious. We rented a longtail boat from the hotel for 1800 baht, which took us to four spots over 4 hours. It was a lot of fun. Our last stop was Tonsai Pier, where we spent about an hour and a half. That was an unexpected joy because we finally got to eat different food. The popular mango dessert shop recommended on Xiaohongshu was really good.

I'd stayed in Phi Phi North before, but this time I chose Koh Phi Phi Don. The resort is super easy to get to, just a 3-minute walk to the left from the pier. It's a massive resort, and the two cats at the front desk were so gentle and cute! From the comfort of your bed, you're treated to an unbeatable ocean view! Breakfast was incredibly varied and even included plain congee. The pool offers stunning views of Long Beach. It's easy to book longtail boat tours for island hopping right outside the resort. The main street has self-service laundry facilities and a plethora of dining options, plus the 7-Eleven here surprisingly boasts a wider variety of items than those in Bangkok! You can also go scuba diving, and even seniors in their 70s can hike up to Viewpoint 2 for breathtaking panoramic views!

Phuket is for tourism, and the islands are for vacation. The beach in front of the hotel is more beautiful and clean than several major beaches in Phuket. There are beaches and snorkeling spots outside, which is very comfortable. But there are shells and gravel on the beach here, and it hurts to walk barefoot. Each room has its own footbath and a small balcony, and the room area is large. There are three cats next to S1 where I live, which is very cute. (Although some people may not like it and think it is the last room) The house smells good, the facilities are a bit old, and the worst is that there is no hot water with enough temperature, which makes the bathing experience very bad. Although there is a wardrobe, the door of the wardrobe cannot be opened. I used one finger to pick out the hanger. There are only two plugs and the light is not bright enough. The service is good. There is a fixed time to pick up and send to Tongsai Pier. When checking in, you will be given a glass of pineapple juice, which is quite delicious. The staff is enthusiastic and proactive to help. You don’t need to carry your luggage by yourself. They have helped before you take the initiative to ask. But the chicken rice in the restaurant is 160 plants, which is expensive and not very delicious. Because the beach in front is very beautiful, I am generally satisfied. Yes.

Aside from the expensive dining and the lack of a complimentary shuttle boat, I honestly couldn't find a single fault with this hotel. Before arriving on the island, make sure to manage your ferry schedule carefully. We traveled from Phuket to Tonsai Pier on Phi Phi Island. Upon disembarking, we realized the hotel is located in the island's northeast corner, while the pier is in the south. Since there's no land access connecting them, we had to take another boat to reach the hotel. We arrived around 2 PM, and there were plenty of longtail boat taxis available at the pier. A one-way trip to the hotel would cost approximately 1200 THB. Our boatman offered a package deal for 3000 THB, which included transfers and an island-hopping/snorkeling tour. A tip: try to arrive at Phi Phi Island pier earlier. Otherwise, you might hit low tide at the hotel, and they'll have staff wading through mudflats to carry your luggage – quite a sight, haha! Seriously though, the food at this island hotel is incredibly expensive. The dishes shown in the pictures alone cost us over 2000 THB for two people.

This hotel offers cozy bungalows that are a real treat to stay in. Some of them boast stunning views of the bay, which was a highlight of my trip. The grounds are beautifully green and well-kept, adding to the overall charm. The hotel is perched on a slope, though, and in the heat, trekking up to your bungalow can be quite a challenge. One wild moment was when monkeys from the nearby forest climbed onto our balcony, scattered our stuff, and even left a mess on the sunbed! The staff were fantastic, always friendly and helpful. However, the music from the nearby bars was a major downside—it’s loud and makes sleeping tough. Quiet environment, rural tree house A good choice, it is about 1 kilometer away from Ton Sai Pier, about 13 or 14 minutes away. You can walk to the hotel by following the Baidu map navigation. You have to go up a short hillside. There is a hotel sign on the roadside. Walk in and climb a short distance up the mountain to the front desk. The room facilities are average, but the space is relatively large. The thousand-foot ground house, each room is sheltered by trees, which is quite a feeling. The birds, cats, and dogs in the countryside play a symphony. There are chickens crowing at dawn, and there was a short period of wild cats before. Overall, it is good and worth recommending. They were very helpful, thank you! If your main goal is to explore the island, then this place should be fine. Getting to the hotel was a bit challenging. After arriving at Tonsai Pier from Phuket mainland, we had to negotiate with a longtail boat to take us to a beach near the hotel. However, there was no jetty at that beach, so our suitcases were transferred by a small boat, and we had to walk to the beach. It was a rather unusual experience. GGuest UserI dream about coming back to this place. It’s a paradise. Amazing beautiful beach. Wonderful service. Delicious food. Breakfast was perfect. People who work there were so helpful. And of course snorkeling and swimming with sharks.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel. The location is perfect — right in front of the beach and conveniently near a 7-Eleven. We had a great time at the pool, and the staff were very friendly. The room was a bit old and the bed was quite hard, but overall, I loved the hotel. Thank you so much for giving us such good memories! 💗

were very happy with this accommodation. It is not a large resort, but it is set in a garden with a swimming pool hidden at the back, which provides a lot of privacy. The hotel also has a restaurant with a direct sea view, and the beach is located just across the road, right in front of the resort. They provide beach towels, the rooms were always very well cleaned and spotless, and the staff were kind and helpful. Luggage storage is available both on arrival and departure days. All rooms have a private balcony, so I would highly recommend this place to solo travelers or anyone looking for peace and quiet away from large, busy resorts

It was a nice little hotel and the value was good. The bed was very Asian and a bit hard for me, as a westerner. My Asian girlfriend liked it.
