We booked this room for our two children. Upon check-in, we requested that our rooms be close together, and the hotel kindly provided a complimentary upgrade. This certainly warrants another positive review! Bicycles are available for complimentary rental at the hotel, although a fee applies if they are damaged or lost. The swimming pools are nice. We only used the one located near the beach; the other one with a slide was a bit too far, so we didn't bother going. The hotel offers a 'Nemo' fish feeding service daily, from 9-10 AM and seemingly again from 4-5 PM, which the children absolutely loved. Breakfast was quite good, with plenty of variety and fresh fruit juices. During our stay, we could explore the tidal flats between 10-11 AM and 9-10 PM. The children had a blast catching small fish and crabs. Mosquitoes were not a significant issue at the hotel, and we even saw a lizard.

The hotel is beautiful, in front of the ocean, nice rooms (though small), nice restaurant, friendly staff, pool is great too. But acustics are an issue in the hotel, the beautiful bamboo huts are zero sound proof you can hear your neighborgs breathing, and that wouldn’t be so bad if the extra loud cheap trance music from the bars nearby didn’t come in feeling like it’s in your room and accounting for terrible sleep. this was specially worse for me as I had a room with pool/sea view at row 1 and sound just went in there, I asked to change rooms and they did and at row 5  i had a much better sleep. It’s sad because this is not the hotel’s fault but municipality should really do something about the bars, it really messes the entire Phi Phi paradise experience.

The location is just perfect, the resort sits right on the beach, sun loungers were available and the restaurant overlooked the beach and sea.our room was partial sea view also with garden views which were stunning,we were quite high up so it could be a bit of hike for some tho a buggy is available.we had a large balcony which was nice to relax on and take in the stunning views, the paintwork could do with a re-fresh as it had peeled due to the sun.the breakfast was pretty good, although there wasn’t any hot Thai vegetarian dishes but still plenty of choices.the staff were really friendly and efficient,we asked at reception one evening for extra coffee and it was at our room before we were!I would happily stay here again,if there was one thing to be improved I would say they need more vegetarian choices in the restaurant & at breakfast.but otherwise a lovely peaceful stay away from the bustle of phi phi.

The size of the villas were moderately good. Resort location was the best, I’ll say - in one sentence, close to the town, far from the chaos. But what challenging was the room location. Ours was a deluxe villa and those villas include too much uphill walk to the room. And its very easy to get lost among the puzzling roads towards the villas. The decoration wasn’t anything extraordinary. Moderate decoration, oldish vibe, not modern. They could’ve done better with the washroom I think considering the price. The breakfast was nice. I loved the coffee machine the most about it. Made me good hot chocolate! The view from the resort was nice, even some rock formations was just infront to sit upon.

The room was comfortable, accommodating a family of three, including a 3-year-old child. It was large, offering a picturesque view on one side and a sufficient bathroom. However, the overall appearance of the place seemed somewhat neglected, and the 85 steps (I counted) leading up to the registration desk might deter many potential guests. Despite this, they did offer a complimentary service for luggage transportation from the port to the room, along with a pre-arranged service from the hotel to the port. Our stay was smooth, and we didn't cause any inconvenience to the hotel, opting not to request room cleaning. However, the hotel failed to provide toothbrushes or bathroom slippers. The breakfast set they provided was quite small.

This was a really cute bungalow on the beach, which added to our experience of staying on Phi Phi. However, the bed was rock hard and the air con kept switching itself off in the night so we kept waking up sweating! The light from it was also really bright so I had to wear an eye mask to sleep. You can also hear the whole island from your hut, and a lot of the Thai residents were working at night nearby, so it was very noisy and required ear plugs! There were lots of little bugs in the woodwork mainly, the shower wasn’t great and got the bathroom very wet. Also, any trips or taxi boats were quite expensive from the woman at reception, we managed to get a 4hr private long tail for 2300baht total. A lot of these things were to be expected, and isn’t too much of a complaint against the resort itself, but something for you to bear in mind when choosing to stay here.

Ton Sai Bay Phi Phi Islands|0.86km from city center
In April, my wife and I had a great week on Thailand's most beloved island! Previously, we visited 8 different hotels on the island and always stayed on Ton Sai Beach on the right side, from where it takes an equally long walk to Long Beach in the afternoon and to the city in the evening. The Mountain Beach Resort has solved this problem even more effectively: shuttles run hourly to its own beach and to the city and back. Upon arrival, we received a free upgrade: a room on the top floor (as we requested) with fantastic sea views, a large balcony, a huge comfortable bed, a YouTube TV (we remembered all the episodes of ”Sherlock”), a small refrigerator. And if you move the sofa correctly, you'll get a chic dining area with a corner viewing window. The bathroom is clean and spacious, and the warm water in the shower is often invigorating) We especially liked the constant feeling of privacy, even when travel companies arrive, the area looks quiet, beautiful and sparsely populated. Breakfast is a very decent buffet in a spacious outdoor cafe. The beach is super: impassable, in the very left corner of the beach, it is small, but as cozy as possible, with sun beds and umbrellas, good shade, with its own pool, cafe and massage room, directly opposite the best diving spot on Shark Point island with huge coral tables, diverse fauna, eels and reef sharks come across. The beach is looked after by a hotel employee who provides mattresses and, if necessary, scuba diving equipment (for an additional fee). The hotel has a unique value for money, but the main advantage is the incredibly attentive and friendly staff: it was as comfortable, easy and pleasant as possible! This is exactly the case when, returning from a trip, you really start to get bored and remember such a bright and happy time with a sad smile! We wish the hotel and its dedicated staff only success and prosperity! Dear Noot, Papaaa may well come back!))) With love, Sergey and Irina!

If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday with a private beach, delicious food and waking up with a sea view: this is the right place. We stayed for 3 nights, it was like landing on paradise. The hotel has their own long tail boats with pick up service from Phi phi island port. Breakfast: sweet and savory Lunch: menu a la carte with Thai dishes and western options Dinner: menu a la carte + fresh fish of the day If you feel like hiking you can do it directly from the hotel and reach a viewpoint. Our room didn’t have aircon but it’s quite chilly at night so it was perfect. Snorkeling is possible right near the beach, you see the same fish (blue and yellow, some very colorful..) near other islands just not as many. The hotel offers daily trips, very well organized, we took a one day trip to Maya Beach, Bamboo island.. highly recommend! On Saturday night there was a fire show: it was absolutely wonderful!

The check in and check out process was easy and smooth, we were charged 1000 baht for deposit. It took about 10 mins walk from the jetty to the hotel. They even have a private beach area which is not as crowded as the other areas in the island. The staff even helped to bring our luggage to the jetty as we had 4 hours to spare before our ferry departure, so we managed to stroll around the island without having to carry our luggage along with us. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The stay and the cleanliness of the room was great considering the cheap rate.

The room is spacious and clean. The staff is very good. The bed is comfortable to sleep in. There are no amenities such as a table and chair, facial tissue. There're provided only a small bottle of water. Breakfast is just so-so. The location of the hotel located in not crowded. It is in the residential area of the islanders. The food price is not as high as the central area of the island. However, the beach on the Ton Sai area is more beautiful and the water is more inviting to swim. However, it is convenient to walk to the pier. The hotel provides a luggage cart service for customer to pick up and drop off at the pier.

Firstly I will say the the location is amazing, at the end of kind beach. You can snorkel from the beach also possible to swim to shark point. Breakfast was nice, choice of eggs and other bits. The staff were always very helpful and tried their best The bad points, the in our first room there was no mosquito net.so when about getting one we were told it wasn’t possible. They then offered us a new room. We took the new room, which included a mosquito nets. Although it’s also included a pack of monkeys who are waiting outside the door for us aggressively we were told by the staff to just grab a stick and shoot them off. This did only happen one day But it made the other day going back to your room in the dark not feel so nice the AC in the room was also terrible. It sounded like it had a bag of old spanners in and dripped throughout the night like some sort of water torture leaving blocks of ice on the floor as well. I would also note that’s the bed was as flexible as the wooden floor below, so just bear this in mind if you’re used to a softer mattress. I appreciate the monkeys are out of their control but maybe some signs for other guests not to have food out et cetera so that they’re not encouraged to come to the area might help. I also don’t think it’s very hard to have a mosquito net in every room. It’s a shame these small things could not be fixed. As otherwise for the money it would be a very nice stay. If you’re visiting the area, I do recommend the restaurant at the end of the beach called mamas and the pad Thai is delicious. The restaurants down the beach are also good for a nice evening out.

We selected a waterfront room and it was wonderful. We loved the room and the views. However, we found very uncomfortable that upon arrival there was a topless woman with her boobs out which is really bad for a couple to have that view when looking at the beach - so maybe, since it is a small beach that’s part of the resort, topless or nudity should not be allowed. The service was also impeccable as well as the food. Our tip: place a bucket in front of the front door so we can fill it with water to clean our feet from the beach sand before entering the room. Our room was always full of sand inside. Another long term change that could be considered is the mattress quality - it is quite hard and not so comfortable. Otherwise, everything in this hotel was perfect: food, room, service, super calm, cleanliness, etc. My husband and I would surely come back!

This is my third time in Krabi, but my first time staying on Phi Phi Island. This hotel is located in North Phi Phi, so if you arrive at Tonsai Pier, you'll need to take a speedboat to North Phi Phi. North Phi Phi is quite small, with only a few hotels. During my visit, the hotel next door was under renovation, and there weren't many guests. I stayed for two nights, and the environment was lovely. The room type I booked offered a great sea view right from the door. I've heard some people say there's differential treatment for Chinese tourists, but I personally didn't experience that; I found all the staff to be very enthusiastic. Since my room was on a hilltop, I needed a buggy service to get around, and they were almost always available on call. They stop working at 10 PM, but I usually wasn't returning to my room that late anyway. The breakfast included in the price was a great deal, although I noticed it was cheaper on other platforms. Breakfast was decent. The hotel has two swimming pools: one behind the restaurant and a smaller one next to the hillside rooms. The hotel's mini-mart items are a little pricier, about 10 baht more on average than those on the beach. Friends coming to the island should remember to stock up on drinks and snacks in Krabi or at a nearby 7-Eleven. They provide welcome drinks upon check-in, and the service is quick. I'd likely choose this hotel again; it's convenient and located at the northernmost part, with good transportation options.

It's almost 600 nights in the high season. Let me tell you in detail. [Location] Take a three-fork road and turn right at Tongsai Wharf, which is in direction 711. Within a hundred meters, you will see a huge banyan tree. The hotel is usually picked up by the dock. Not far away, two minutes at most. [Room] Not big enough. The room we booked was near the swimming pool. The light in the afternoon was soft and it was quiet. It was hard to find in the busy game area. [Toilet] Water is accumulated for two minutes in the bath, and you can't go down for half an hour. The toiletries must be provided, and the quality is average. [Breakfast] The restaurant near the beach diagonally opposite the hotel is a full-day restaurant with egg rolls or omelette, toast, chicken porridge, vegetables, bacon, fried rice, fruits, etc., not luxurious but full of food Is enough. [Gym] is my favorite place in this hotel. Check out and go for a day trip in the morning. You can take a bath here when you come back. Do n’t go wet and go on a boat. Cleanest place, spotless, fresh air! [One-day tour] A long-tail boat group tour was reported on the spot. They are all Europeans and Americans. All of them are strong and look like I am a schoolboy. 350 baht for a long time. Two people private charter 2,000 baht for three hours or four. The hour is coming, it is much more expensive than Pippi North. Let ’s talk about [hygiene], the whole pass is relatively dirty, the hotel room floor is a bit sticky, the beds are OK, the pool looks good from a distance, the water is not clean when viewed from near, the hotel It is like a garden, but there are various restaurants around the perimeter, the restaurant will have a kitchen, and the kitchen will have a large range hood facing outwards, and then the garden will smell like a fume, sad ... but the whole race Not clean, this and the hotel next door are good. I do n’t want to come here in the future, the price is higher than the sky, more expensive than Phuket Patong, more expensive than Bangkok, the key is that the food is not fresh, or long beach and Pippi North are more comfortable, but if you want to come again Well, I hope the store pays attention to improving hygiene! Finally, I recommend a [restaurant], Mr. Soda, my favorite, thank you is closed, and some of them are pretty good. The seafood taste is at least fresh, and the shop is clean. Yes, look at the picture. Word by word, if you find it useful, click ”useful”, give me a little encouragement, and let me know that there are still people watching to continue writing

Woman at reception will cancel booking if she can get more money from other customers. We booked weeks in advance and paid for premium rooms. The receptionist said she didn’t have the booking and told us to cancel through trip.com or have other rooms. The whole of phi phi was booked out for NYE so only choice we had was downgrade with no compensation. We saw this happen with other guests arriving at Resort with bookings to be refused and sent away. What is the point in making a booking if the resort will just cancel it and not let you know until check in? On the upside, Views are stunning and pool is amazing!!

I'd stayed in Phi Phi North before, but this time I chose Koh Phi Phi Don. The resort is super easy to get to, just a 3-minute walk to the left from the pier. It's a massive resort, and the two cats at the front desk were so gentle and cute! From the comfort of your bed, you're treated to an unbeatable ocean view! Breakfast was incredibly varied and even included plain congee. The pool offers stunning views of Long Beach. It's easy to book longtail boat tours for island hopping right outside the resort. The main street has self-service laundry facilities and a plethora of dining options, plus the 7-Eleven here surprisingly boasts a wider variety of items than those in Bangkok! You can also go scuba diving, and even seniors in their 70s can hike up to Viewpoint 2 for breathtaking panoramic views!

Phuket is for tourism, and the islands are for vacation. The beach in front of the hotel is more beautiful and clean than several major beaches in Phuket. There are beaches and snorkeling spots outside, which is very comfortable. But there are shells and gravel on the beach here, and it hurts to walk barefoot. Each room has its own footbath and a small balcony, and the room area is large. There are three cats next to S1 where I live, which is very cute. (Although some people may not like it and think it is the last room) The house smells good, the facilities are a bit old, and the worst is that there is no hot water with enough temperature, which makes the bathing experience very bad. Although there is a wardrobe, the door of the wardrobe cannot be opened. I used one finger to pick out the hanger. There are only two plugs and the light is not bright enough. The service is good. There is a fixed time to pick up and send to Tongsai Pier. When checking in, you will be given a glass of pineapple juice, which is quite delicious. The staff is enthusiastic and proactive to help. You don’t need to carry your luggage by yourself. They have helped before you take the initiative to ask. But the chicken rice in the restaurant is 160 plants, which is expensive and not very delicious. Because the beach in front is very beautiful, I am generally satisfied. Yes.

I had to get hold of ***********.  After me trying to show her my confirmation number and the description of my room, she did move me to a pool view.  I also tried to tell her I would upgrade and pay for a pool walk out room over the standard room she gave us,  but she told me they were all booked — even though we never saw anyone in those rooms the 3 nights we stayed there…? Rooms are clean and quiet. Location is centre to everything. The lady at reception is a sweetheart once day 1 was over. I’m guessing maybe language barrier was our problem as she was sweet on day 2-3.  I probably wouldn’t book via *********** as i’m seeming to have this problem over afew hotels were i book and pay gor a type but when I arrive it’s not available and i get no credit back for a lesser value room.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! One of the highlights was a service we didn’t even know existed: upon arriving at the port in Phi Phi, we were pleasantly surprised to find staff waiting to help with luggage and guide us to the hotel. It made the arrival so much smoother, especially in the heat and crowds. The luggage service was incredibly efficient and thoughtful — we didn’t have to worry about dragging our bags through the busy streets. It was such a great first impression and really set the tone for the rest of our stay. The hotel itself was lovely, with clean rooms, friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is simply super for the money. Everything is more expensive on Phi Phi, for example, 1.5 liters of water costs 40 BAHT, and on the mainland 14 BATH. Therefore, room prices are more expensive here. 1163 BAHT for two days on PHI PHI for two. Room M27 with air conditioning, good Internet and a private bathroom, TV (we did not need it), water was supplied once. Shampoo and shower gel available. Of course, the room had some drawbacks, such as: 1) the hot water did not work, although there was a heater, we did not check it right away, and then we were too lazy to go to the reception and washed ourselves with cold water. 2) after a shower, not all the water went into the drain (incorrect floor slope). 3) our room was on the corner of the hotel and there was increased noise from motorcycles and conversations of passers-by (but this was also a plus, it was not on a mountain, but in the lowest place possible in this hotel). There was a small climb when approaching the hotel, we coped with it normally, it was training before going to observation decks 2 and 3. We did not have any horrors with lizards and other creatures crawling into the room, and there were no holes in the walls and floor. Somewhere the paint on the walls was uneven and there were no slippers 😁, but I repeat for the price we paid we did not expect 5*. When booking at PHI PHI you need to pay special attention to the height of the hotel, climbing to the observation decks along the way we met hotels located much higher than ours and guests lived in them and went up and down there several times a day. Well, do not forget about the proximity to the bars in terms of noise.

Aside from the expensive dining and the lack of a complimentary shuttle boat, I honestly couldn't find a single fault with this hotel. Before arriving on the island, make sure to manage your ferry schedule carefully. We traveled from Phuket to Tonsai Pier on Phi Phi Island. Upon disembarking, we realized the hotel is located in the island's northeast corner, while the pier is in the south. Since there's no land access connecting them, we had to take another boat to reach the hotel. We arrived around 2 PM, and there were plenty of longtail boat taxis available at the pier. A one-way trip to the hotel would cost approximately 1200 THB. Our boatman offered a package deal for 3000 THB, which included transfers and an island-hopping/snorkeling tour. A tip: try to arrive at Phi Phi Island pier earlier. Otherwise, you might hit low tide at the hotel, and they'll have staff wading through mudflats to carry your luggage – quite a sight, haha! Seriously though, the food at this island hotel is incredibly expensive. The dishes shown in the pictures alone cost us over 2000 THB for two people.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. We stayed here for two nights and having read previous reviews were slightly sceptical. However we had no need to be, we were greeted off the ferry by a member of staff who very kindly carried our bags to the hotel for us this was much appreciated. The reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room itself was spotless very spacious and well maintained. There was construction happening during our stay however we didn’t notice any noise until we stepped outside of our room, the windows are well insulated and the construction didn’t bother us at all. It can be slightly noisy at nighttime however you are in a prime location so it is nothing out of the ordinary and again the room is so well insulated it didn’t stop us from sleeping on either night. I would definitely recommend this hotel based off their friendly staff and clean rooms alike.

Very good hotel! I liked the magnificent view pool, excellent breakfast, nice room. It was clean, the staff was very welcoming and friendly, the location was quite convenient. Yes, it can be quite noisy at night, but this island is not complete without night parties) Say hello to the baby corgi who lives at the hotel!

We stayed at this hotel for the first time in 2013 and the second time in 2025. Nothing has changed much, and we were happy with our stay. Pros: - the guy with the cart who delivers guests' luggage from the pier to the hotel helped us a lot, we arrived with suitcases and bags, it was hard to walk in the heat, he also helped us get to the pier on the way back - it's free, - it's not far to walk from the Tonsai pier, not far from the sea on the other side of the island, I advise you to walk to the fire show just to the left of the hotel and along the shore, - they gave us a spacious three-bed room, with a comfortable large double bed and a wide 1.5 double bed, the bathroom is freshly renovated, the shower has good pressure of warm water, gel, shampoo, everything is there. - beach towels and towels for the pool can be taken from the souvenir seller on the first floor, they are freely available, without an appointment. - the pool is quite large, but chlorinated, because the hotel has a large flow of tourists every day - monkeys came to visit us on the balcony, although it is written that you can't feed them, but it is very interesting to look at them up close Cons: - every day a huge flow of tourists comes from one-day excursions for lunch, these are crowds in the dining room, 300-500 people by the feel - the 7-11 minimarket is far away, others are closer, but there is no alcohol and the prices are a little more expensive, - there is a lot of food in the dining room, but everything is not particularly tasty, cold potatoes and eggs, but fruits, pastries, vegetables are always available. In general, I liked everything, the staff is great, they wash, scrub, cook everything, there is a steamer at the reception, you can iron things, there is a cafe Little Monkey nearby, we ate there several times, we took Hawaiian pizza, we liked it, it was delicious.

Very good position away from town 5mins walk. Picked up at the ferry checked in early no problem. Walk out of hotel pool in front then the beach and free to use sun beds. Booked a 3hr tour at the guy next door very good left early it gets busy. Bar on the beach very friendly. For the price good location clean and friendly but it is old photos on the site were probably taken a while ago. 👍

I liked the location, only 5 minutes away from the pier, where you arrive with the ferry. So you don’t need any transfer and you can bring your luggage along easily. The room was clean! But in the bathroom we had a little smell of sewage sometimes. It was minor and definitely durable. But I would just have been a 10/10 without. So I would still recommend that place and give it a 9/10, especially for that price.

The place is located very strategically, next to a 7/eleven and lots of restaurants, only a 6 minute walk from the pier.
