We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Excellence Punta Cana. The service was top notch. The resort was beautiful. The staff helped us from the moment we got into the moment we left.
The food was the only thing we didn’t really like. It could be much better, especially since we usually love Dominican food. At some restaurants onsite, it seemed like the staff were tired or overworked at dinner, and they brought the food out later sometimes it wasn’t cold or it wasn’t cooked exactly the way we asked. 
We loved that this was an adult only resort, there was always event you could join and at night. It was quiet when we came home so we loved that.
It was my mom’s birthday and they made it really special for her. I was extremely grateful.SOLD OUT

Our stay at Breathless was incredible; the room was great, the food was delicious, but the whole experience was taken over the top by our VIP concierge, Pablo. We have stayed in many top-rated hotels and resorts all around the world, but we have never felt so safe and comforted as we did at Breathless. We received a text message from our VIP every day about what activities would happen on the property and when. We were also told many times if we had any problems to let him know or if we were looking to have any experiences or see any shows. He was able to connect the dots with everything. We were hosted at the hotel Bakour and our experience was absolutely exceptional. Since we arrived, the staff made us feel like at home. The attention was of high quality, familiar and extremely careful. They were always ready to help us with whatever we needed.
The reception was particularly highly high thanks to Kimberly's friendlyness and efficiency, who greeted us every day and kept us informed about the activities of the hotel. Your personalized attention and your willingness to help us at any time were essential for our stay.
But what really loved us was the staff's attitude in general. From Manuel, the tours seller who became a friend and made us several gifts without commit, even the bar and buffet boys, such as Jazmín and Joan, who were always attentive and kind. Even Junior, who worked at night, was extremely social and made us feel part of the family.
We were very happy to have a nice and comfortable room, and we were very happy to have a nice room.

This trip was amazing. The resort was beautiful and easy to navigate. The rooms are quite large and the location is isolated and quiet. The beach is beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were wonderful. The staff were all really friendly and the service was generally great. There are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options which was great! All the events were really enjoyable and overall it was a really relaxing and memorable vacation! My first all inclusive experience and it was beyond my expectation. I had a swim out room and was part of the preferred club, with a personal butler and food concierge to cater for halal food. The resort was beautiful with many pools, a serene beach and a lazy river! So many restaurants to choose from plus a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I spent the entire time at the resort with no need for any excursions. There were nightly entertainment, unlimited snacks and drinks [non-alcoholic for me] and twice daily house keeping. Overall, I would stay again for the food [taste, variety and service], amenities [lazy river!] and hospitality [friendly staff].

The resort itself was beautiful but there were pros and cons. More cons than I wanted. Pool closed at 6 pm so no night swimming which left little to do in the evenings. Drinks were weak, drank all day long with no effect. Food was the worst. The buffet was terrible and was really our only option since the snack bar ran out of burgers, basically lived on chips and salsa the entire trip. The restaurants which you needed to make reservations for was a joke. The reservation app didn’t work so you had to wake am up at 6 am to stand in line until 8 am in hopes of getting a reservation. The service was not pleasant. Workers badly made eye contact with you and you always felt like you were bothering them when requesting a beverage or asking a question. This was our first time in Dominicana and we chose this hotel because our tour operator said it was new and we actually liked the pics (they are real by the way, not like in the majority of the hotels where they post only the best to attract guests). First thing that impressed us was that all staff was wearing masks at all times everywhere: inside and outside! No matter if they were showing sport exercises, cleaning or dancing in the lobby in the evening, they were always in masks! Then sanitizers everywhere . Temperature control at the entrance to the hotel and to all restaurants. The staff also makes sure you are wearing a mask and gloves when picking food. Everyone was polite helping and smiling all the time. I will name only some people here just because I didn't take photos of all names, so sorry if I didn't name you. All receptionists were ready to help and solve any problem you have. Bieavenido (thanks for late night talk, now I know when is the Independence day in Dominicana!😊). All our requests were satisfied within 5-15minutes (not Dominican minutes👆🤣). Guys at the restaurant all who were welcoming, thank you for giving us masks and gloves when we were too overwhelmed with holiday activities and forgot to get them🙈. Thank you for always wishing us good morning, nice day and smiling! Guys who take orders inside the restaurants and my Spanish teachers😅 Ramon, Antonio, Wilsoooooon Rincon, muchos gracias! Because I paid through a third party i was not allowed to amend my reservation and I end up stuck with all of the additional cost and the staff refuse to adjust my reservation. I paid for 4 people all inclusive from Thursday to Sunday. I had to book another hotel for sun to Monday. The hotel refuse to reimburse me for the other room and the additional people who could not makes the trip because they were in the hospital. Just sad...SOLD OUT

This was an excellent stay. It’s not near the downtown area nor walkable outside resort. You’ll need transportation to leave the resort. We were a couple and it was very nice even though it wasn’t adults only. There was alot of live entertainment at night to keep you busy. We didn’t need to leave the resort and was just fine walking to the beach and going to the pool area. The food was just great. I ate a lot but it seemed more healthy than food in US. I loved the assor**ent of fruits and vegetables. We did a spa trea**ent as well. The entertainment was well planned and set up so that there is something different every night. I have no complaints. Next time we come we’ll try an adults only resort.SOLD OUT

The hotel does not look like the pictures. When I got yo my room, on the first night my room smelled of urine, as if person who was belied me peed and the hotel doesn’t clean it. It was unbearable, I had to ask reception to come and sort it out because I wasnt going to be able to sleep with that smell. The housekeeper came and she swiped the floor and it was much better.
The toilet handle was broken despite the water flushing.
The room smelled out humidity.
Not very sure of they changed the sheets needles I got there or even after.
The food was all artificial food, nothing organic. All drinks were from those sachets. Even the sprite tasted different :/
On NYE the food was much better, there were good choices, but still artificial.

The majestic elegance is beautiful!!! Very clean, rooms are very nice.
The average rating was because we paid extra for “Elegance club” adult only. This was our 29th anniversary and we wanted it to be kid free. We searched for a hotel that had adult only amenities. When we showed up at the hotel they told us those rooms were sold out in the adult only section. That was disappointing since we paid for that section. We were still able to use the amenities but they were two buildings away. We booked months in advance so that was disappointing. They did give us a voucher for $200.00. To be used towards a $360.00 massage. But we would have loved the room in adult only section instead. The drinks were great! The food average. Entertainment average. The staff-some were great but I would say around 90% don’t even acknowledge you with even a hello. Overall though the place is beautiful! The pools are well maintained and had a great vacation overall.SOLD OUT

Overall, the trip was okay
I was hoping for a bit more, especially since it was a special occasion.
My room was absolutely beautiful and definitely one of the highlights. However, the food was a bit disappointing at times; many dishes lacked flavour, which was a letdown.
That said, I made the most of it and focused on celebrating. Even if everything wasn’t perfect, I’m still grateful for the experience.SOLD OUT
