Amazing, fun-filled memorable stay again at this truly wonderland hotel. This is my second time to stay here and as usual from beginning to end, it is truly exemplary. All the staff we’ve encountered are all friendly possessing excellent customer service. Special mention to the following people whose cheerful smile and welcoming presence really makes this hotel like home — Amara, Vincent, Grace and Ava of front desk as well as Xiao He and Han Lei of Photography. Will come back again on April!

[”The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 6-7 minute walk to the subway station! The room was clean and bright, and the bedding was incredibly soft, truly like sleeping on a cloud. The front desk staff were so thoughtful, even providing a guide to local eateries. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!”,”The room was even more spacious than the photos indicated. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation and was impeccably clean. The breakfast selection was incredibly diverse, and the freshly prepared noodles were especially fragrant and tasty. This is our re-visit of the hotel. I don’t know why, but it just felt homey instantly (usually it will take me a night to get used to the room), it’s just comfortable with peaceful ambiance and soft lighting. The breakfast was amazing and it really helped to start our day in a pleasant way! We also had a pleasant interaction with the room-service robot who delivered bottle water to our room twice 😄 You just had to try it!!! too bad I couldn’t hug the robot 😄 I also like the Hotel’s good and combined use of technology and human service. I called from the room to ask for bottle water, and it was answered by a lady who said they will send a Robot to deliver. (In another hotel, I also made a call from the room with a small request, but it was an auto answer where you had to talk to a machine and dial the numbers when prompted, which often ended in frustration). Other than that, just one suggestion, I thought the quality of the toiletries and slippers provided could be better compared to the peer hotels, yea, especially for the slippers, they felt too synthetic compared to the slippers from the other two hotels I stayed at during this travel. Overall, great stay, pleasant experience and will revisit!

This hotel is perfectly suited to my taste. The lobby is predominantly decorated in black and red, with even the glass panels featuring a red tint. The lobby area is incredibly spacious, boasting many distinct seating zones, which made me feel like I could spend an entire day just lounging there. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a large shopping mall, MixC City, offering a wide array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Plus, it's just a few subway stops from either the train station or the airport. Getting to the hotel from Ziteng Road Metro Station: exit and enter the shopping mall through its main illuminated entrance. For the most straightforward path, *before* you reach the pedestrian street of the metro commercial area, follow the signs to take the elevator up to the second floor. From there, walk through the parking lot between Buildings A and B, and you'll arrive directly at the hotel, with no stairs to navigate. Overall, I feel the hotel's marketing efforts are insufficient. This hidden gem truly deserves to be discovered by more people.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for my mom's class reunion. Her classmates, all in their eighties, met up on Nanjing Road, enjoying a quiet spot amidst the bustling city. During the off-peak May Day holiday, the first choice for an outing to Sheshan is Kaiyuan Mingting! The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, the front desk Xiaoqian is warm and thoughtful, the check-in procedure is efficient and convenient, and the business king room with a large terrace is upgraded for free. The room is clean and comfortable. When I saw the children, I took the initiative to provide children's supplies. There are many plugs in the room, which is very convenient. The network speed is also very fast. It is suitable for business and parents. The hotel is next to Qingpu Sam's Club, which is very convenient for shopping. It takes 20 minutes to drive to Sheshan Forest Park. Overall, the overall experience exceeded expectations, and I will choose here next time!

We loved our stay and were absolutely impressed with the service at The Anandi! Shilpa and Rubina gave us their contact info and helped us with so many things. They were very patient in our requests and assistance. Rubina helped us navigate all the classes and Shilpa helped us change rooms cuz our AC was broken. Gorgeous hotel, and great food. Amazing staff and service, everyone we saw welcomed us with smiles and hand to their heart. The only complaint was the AC didn’t work out first night so it was hot for me. But we enjoyed the hot springs and massage as well. Hope to return.

Just got back from a spontaneous girls' trip and can't wait to share this gem of a guesthouse in Duntou Village, Jinhui Town, Fengxian District, Shanghai – Feiyun Island Hidden Hot Spring and Island! Our group of five just wanted a place to relax, chat, and take some photos, but this guesthouse completely exceeded our expectations. The environment was absolutely stunning; every corner of the century-old house was photogenic. The breakfast was exquisite and delicious. We made sachets, wrote ”Fu” characters and couplets, and copied the Heart Sutra – it felt like we were young again! Each guesthouse suite had a private hot spring bath, which was so relaxing. We had dinner at their ”Ganfu” restaurant, which was delicious and refined; they even added some freshly grown, frost-kissed greens for us! I must especially praise their water golf! This was definitely the highlight of our trip. The course is situated on a clear lake, offering a very spacious feel. It was the first time for any of us, and we were initially worried about not knowing how to play. However, a professional and handsome young coach patiently guided us, explaining everything from gripping the club to the swing in great detail. The whole process was filled with screams and laughter – incredibly relaxing! Watching the ball trace arcs across the water felt like all my worries flew away. The sport is also incredibly elegant; the videos and photos I took were very stylish, and I've already garnered countless likes and inquiries on social media. The guesthouse service was also exceptionally attentive. A special thank you to Lanlan at the front desk; she was warm, helpful, and even took photos for me. Overall, it was a perfect experience! It's ideal for groups of friends, couples, or families, offering a relaxing and comfortable environment with unique and fun activities. We've already made plans to come back!

Our first impression of the hotel was wonderful, friendly staffs and comfortable environment greeted us at the entrance. Special mention to 袁欢 whom helped me find a suitable room for my family and I with upmost patience and eagerness. The view in the bedroom was great as the windows are full length. Breakfast had various options too. I visited the Epicure at 45 to be surprised by the astonishing 360 view of Shanghai. You get to experience such fine dining while enjoying the scenery around you. On a Tuesday night, we got to visit the bar on floor 47. Accompanied by jazzy tunes from the pianist and singer, I enjoyed the vibe-y night. The hotel gave me a positive experience; family-friendly and comfy. I’d recommend this hotel!

I highly recommend the Pullman Shanghai Jing An – it truly lives up to its five-star reputation! The hotel is located in the heart of Jing'an District, just a hundred meters walk from Shanghai Railway Station Metro, offering seamless transfers on lines 1, 3, and 4. This makes it super convenient to get to attractions like The Bund, Nanjing Road, and Jing'an Temple. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, the location is absolutely fantastic. The front desk service was professional and efficient; check-in and check-out were smooth from start to finish. The concierge was also incredibly helpful, planning travel routes and answering questions about the local area, which made the entire experience excellent. My room was spacious and elegant, with full-sized floor-to-ceiling windows offering spectacular city views. The bedding was incredibly soft, and I instantly felt my travel fatigue melt away. The bathroom's rain shower and custom toiletries were of excellent quality, and the wet/dry separation design was a thoughtful touch. High-speed WiFi, smart climate control, and other amenities were all provided, showing great attention to detail. The hotel's dining options are also top-notch. The all-day dining restaurant offers a rich variety of breakfast choices, from authentic Chinese pan-fried buns and xiaolongbao to Western bacon and bread. The Chinese restaurant serves delicious local Shanghainese and Cantonese cuisine; the braised pork belly with its rich, savory sauce and the flavorful crab roe xiaolongbao were unforgettable. The leisure facilities are a highlight, too. The 20-meter heated pool on the 6th floor has wonderful natural light and crystal-clear water; you can relax on a lounge chair after a swim. The gym has advanced and comprehensive equipment, plus a yoga room and sauna, catering to all your workout and relaxation needs. The accompanying spa center is perfect for complete mind and body rejuvenation. Throughout my stay, every staff member, from the diligent cleaning ladies to the quick-responding room service, was warm and attentive, truly making me feel at home. The hotel's heated pool, fitness center, and other facilities were meticulously maintained, and the modern art decorations in the common areas were very tasteful. Whether traveling alone or with family, this is an excellent choice for accommodation in Shanghai. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shanghai!

This hotel is just beautiful and welcoming. People standing at the front will rush to help opening the door and unload your luggage from the car. The receptionist was really lovely and helpful and provide all the details in English. Then you will be brought to your room. The room was really lovely. The beds were a bit small for an adult and kids but this is based on foreigners size. The bathroom was not clean properly with stains on the wall, doors and bathtub ( picture attached) but this may be due of the fact that the room was old. There was a mini bar in the room but no price available. The hotel have a heated pool and multiple restaurant on site. The kids love the pool. The hotel is in the middle of all the places that need to be visited. If you go out from the hotel and turn right. You are 10 min walk from Nanjing Road. If you turn left, you are 10 min walk from YuYan Garden. And if you walk in direction of the back of the hotel, you are at the Bund. If you go straight you ll be most likely at people’s square. We had an amazing stay there and we were joined by our daughter’s friend who booked there aswell to make it convenient for the kids to see each other. I highly recommend this hotel for families and friends catch up. Really convenient location, really lovely and helpful staff.

Although the room was small, it was very well-appointed. From the window, I could see iconic landmarks like Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl, and Jing'an Temple was right in front of me. The service was standard and reliable, always responsive to requests. Breakfast had limited options but was exquisite. The in-room dining service was very convenient. The wonton noodles I ordered the first time were exceptionally delicious, so I ordered them again today for lunch, but the taste and texture were significantly different, and I'm not sure why. I came to Shanghai for a book signing event this weekend. There are so many hotels in Shanghai that it's overwhelming! I saw that The Langham had a good location and high ratings, and remembering my excellent stay at The Langham in Hong Kong last time, I decisively booked here~ The service was truly exceptional. The day before my arrival, they even called to ask about my check-in time and any other requests~ Upon arrival, I discovered it's near Xintiandi, and there's a Harry Winston right downstairs~ The location is just perfect~ The manager, Sicily, added me on WeChat for easy contact~ I didn't expect it to be such a huge help! I encountered a small, unexpected situation and decided to ask her for assistance. Even though she had already gone home for the day, she quickly helped resolve it remotely~ Additionally, I specifically came for a book signing event, and before attending, I learned that phones weren't allowed, only photos. So I asked Sicily if the hotel had a printer~ Later, when I returned to my room, the color-printed photos were perfectly laid out on my table. If it weren't for Sicily, I might have missed this opportunity – it was truly amazing~ This is the first time I've written such a long review because I'm genuinely so happy~

This hotel is located in Dapuqiao, and it's one of the few upscale hotels in the area. I really like their lobby; it has a lively atmosphere as soon as you walk in, and there's even a coffee bar. I've stayed in their deluxe rooms and suites before, but this was my first time trying an executive room. I felt that, in terms of size, the executive room wasn't much bigger than the other rooms, and the bathroom felt a bit cramped. The color of the sofa in the room was quite pleasing though. Eating nearby is super convenient, with Sun Moon Light Plaza right across the street. In the morning, you can take a stroll to Tianzifang.

I checked in on the evening of January 16th and could see the Peace Hotel's green emerald roof from afar, which was quite dazzling and spectacular. Every staff member at the hotel was incredibly warm, meticulous, and thoughtful, speaking softly and making me feel like a spring breeze. The front desk proactively upgraded my room. Upon entering, I found the air conditioning already turned on to a comfortable temperature, slippers placed by the bed, and a welcome fruit platter prepared. It truly felt like a home away from home. The performance by the elderly jazz band was fantastic; the singer had a beautiful voice and great audience interaction. The bartender provided excellent service, flexibly adapting to individual requests. The bar had a great atmosphere, and I loved the song request segment; it got even better as the night went on. The breakfast at the Jasmine restaurant on the morning of the 17th was also excellent, with both Chinese and Western options available. This was my second stay at the Waldorf Astoria, and this time it was for my birthday. Upon check-in, the front desk lady was very pleasant, but due to a backend issue, we were given the wrong room type 😂. It caused a bit of a delay, but we were in a hurry to go out, so I just took the new key card and left. The bellboy who helped with our luggage was also very nice. On check-out day, there were two ladies at the front desk. One was the same young lady who helped us check in the day before, and her attitude was truly excellent, no complaints – she had a sweet voice. However, the shorter lady standing next to her had a contrasting attitude; she acted as if she was superior and couldn't be bothered. Do I owe you something? When we left, this shorter, older lady didn't even say goodbye. It was the younger lady next to her who did. Is this how the hotel trains its employees? 🙂 Such an attitude. I come to Shanghai every two or three months, and I always stay here. **Ambiance:** The red maple leaves in the garden have turned, and they're so beautiful. It truly lives up to its reputation as a Japanese-managed hotel; even the environmental details have that special touch. This is why I love this hotel. Plus, the express checkout is super convenient. **Service:** This time, I felt the service quality had declined a bit. I called for things to my room twice and had to wait a long time, then call to follow up. Especially when the room heating wasn't enough, I was freezing while waiting. Later, the housekeeper proactively brought an extra blanket. However, as a loyal guest, I didn't feel a special sense of belonging. **Facilities:** The remote control by the bed is really difficult to use. The settings jump around, and it's hard to tell what you're adjusting. It's usually fine, but in winter, the room temperature just wouldn't go up. It was truly freezing. **Breakfast:** Still delicious.

The hotel’s location is very good. It is about a 5-minute walk to a huge Starbucks, Nanjing West Road, the MRT station, and Wujiang Road, which has several nice bakeries and food options. This made getting around very convenient. There was also a 7-11 just across the road. However, the Premier Two-Bedroom Suite was disappointing for the price paid. The rooms are rather small, especially the master bedroom, where there was not enough space to place or open any luggage. We had to keep our luggage in the living room instead. The bathroom, particularly the shower area, looked very dated. The tiles appeared old and there was a musty smell, which was unpleasant. Another inconvenience was that the light switches were only on one side of the bed, making it very inconvenient to switch off the lights from the other side. The kitchenette was also very small. Cutlery was stored in a drawer above the bin, which was not ideal, and there were no extra plates provided. The tiles looked old with visible cracks, and some of the drawers were faulty. Overall, the room did not feel premium and felt overpriced for what was offered. The hotel rooms clearly need a glow-up to match the Kempinski brand and the rates charged. Additionally, the reception area was undergoing renovation, with no seating or waiting area. The pick-up and drop-off driveway is very narrow, only a small lane. When loading our luggage, we had to do so very quickly as other cars were waiting. The driveway would benefit from being more spacious. While the location is excellent, the room condition, layout, and facilities did not meet expectations for a Premier suite.

The front desk staff seemed inexperienced. When I arrived to check in, no one noticed me right away. I had to wait in line for two minutes before actively asking for assistance. (Though they seemed quite enthusiastic with foreign guests.) I redeemed points for a welcome fruit platter, but it wasn't delivered even after 10:30 PM when I returned from dinner. When I inquired, they told me I had to request it again – that it wouldn't be sent automatically. What's the point of redeeming it on the platform then? It took almost an hour after calling for my child's slippers and toothbrush to be delivered, and I had to call again after 11:30 PM to finally get them. I was already exhausted from a long flight delay at the airport due to weather, so it's hard to understand why even these small things took so long. Furthermore, they didn't even know the general directions (left or right) to the nearby W Hotel on the Bund, which indicates a lack of experience. However, the service staff in the breakfast restaurant were friendly and experienced, and the food was good – definitely recommend!

The staff in the executive lounge were very professional, always observing our preferences. It was a wonderful experience, very kind and friendly towards seniors. Huge thanks to this classic hotel for their service ❤️❤️❤️ On another note, during lunch, I overheard some high-tier member complaining endlessly about the lounge food. Honestly... why bother? If you don't like it, just go somewhere else.

The hotel's location is excellent, right by Jing An Kerry Centre. It's incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and everything else. The service is also top-notch; everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeepers is really enthusiastic. They even noticed we like tea and left plenty of bottled water in our room. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

We brought our child for a staycation and decided to spend a full day at the hotel, so we purchased a voucher that included executive lounge access. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a super king bed, which was more than enough space for us and the baby, very comfortable. Our room also had a view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, which was fantastic. The afternoon tea was just okay. I suggest moving the cakes from happy hour to afternoon tea instead, as happy hour was much richer with a variety of drinks. The main dish was freshly made noodles, which were delicious, along with various other snacks. The smoked salmon and ham paired with red wine were superb. In the evening, we took the child swimming; the views were lovely. Overall, it was a great experience. We had a very happy, super-short break! 😁

Extremely comfortable and clean, and very easy to find. The front desk staff were very patient and even upgraded my room, helped with my luggage, and provided toiletries for my child, which was super thoughtful. My child also loved the food here. When I asked about chili peppers, the staff diligently went to ask the kitchen for me. The staff outside the hotel were also very patient in giving me directions before I even entered. Overall, it was a great experience. Warm, attentive, and patient service. Many thanks!

Whenever I visit Shanghai, The PuLi is usually my top choice. Its location is incredibly convenient, whether I'm driving or taking the high-speed train. This time, I stayed with my child, and the experience was the best yet. Mia and CoCo were incredibly thoughtful with their service and arrangements. Knowing we had a child with us, they upgraded our room and had a crib, baby bathtub, and baby toiletries ready in advance. They even gave my little one a special room card and a small toy, which made my child so happy! She's already saying she wants to stay here again next time. Oh, and the cookies and marshmallows at the front desk are delicious too! 😋

2nd time stay at this hotel and as always, it has clean & spacious room, just in the middle of Nanjing Lu Pedestrian Street so many shops, eatery & malls just outside the hotel. It has free washing machine & dryer to use. Easy to find many kinds of food around the hotel, mini supermarket just beside the hotel, friendly staffs and comfortable beds. Need to note that this hotel might has some few stairs to reach some rooms, so for elderly, make sure to inform them and request rooms to reach without stairs. Overall, a good and recommended hotel to stay in Shanghai.

The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow! **Location:** Just a few minutes' walk from Shanghai Railway Station and the subway, not far from the main road. There's a FamilyMart and some restaurants downstairs. **Facilities:** A proper hotel with an elevator, air conditioning, and self-service laundry. The shower had good hot water. The wooden furniture looked a bit dated but seemed durable and of good quality. It appears to have been renovated, and the renovation quality is decent. However, I have to complain about the Wi-Fi speed – it was excruciatingly slow! **Soundproofing:** Average; I could hear conversations from the next room. **Cleanliness:** Relatively clean. **Environment:** Both inside and out, it was neat and orderly. **Service:** They proactively offered a room upgrade (perhaps due to fewer guests during the off-season) and could store luggage for us. **Breakfast:** Although breakfast was included, they actually provided a 15 RMB voucher per person to use at a neighboring restaurant. You pay for what you choose, and anything over 15 RMB needs to be paid out of pocket, which felt a bit like a rip-off. However, if you plan carefully, it's manageable. The breakfast quality was relatively average, but it was available from 6:30 AM, which is convenient for early travelers.

The hotel room was decent in size—not too small and not too big. The toilet was equipped with a bidet, which was convenient. There is a convenience store nearby, making it easy to buy daily necessities. The room also had a good air purifier, which was a nice touch. However, there was no shower cap provided, and toiletries were limited to a toothbrush only. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some minor amenities missing.

The hotel facilities are very complete, with a washing machine, microwave, and refrigerator, perfect for long-term guests. It's very clean and hygienic. Environment: Beautiful, with good lighting. The room stays warm even without the AC on. Service: The front desk staff are all very enthusiastic and the service is excellent! 😊 They even gave me a little gift when I checked out – cute hand warmers that are just adorable and so thoughtful. Directly across is the Huangpu River, and the night view is also beautiful. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Location: Excellent location, very close to Nanjing Road, The Bund, and East Nanjing Road Subway Station (Exit 7). Transportation / Access: The hotel has two entrances, but I highly recommend using the main road entrance as it is much easier to find. You only need to walk a short distance into the alley. Searching the hotel on Amap works perfectly—just copy the hotel name from Trip.com and it shows up right away. Very convenient. I usually returned to the hotel around 10–11 PM; the alley entrance can be a bit dark at night, but it’s a short walk and felt safe. Room: The room was very spacious with plenty of space to open large suitcases comfortably. The bathroom was also very large, clean, and had no cigarette smell at all. Amenities were complete, including a hair dryer, toothbrush, and toothpaste. I stayed on the 4th floor, and had a beautiful view of the Oriental Pearl Tower ✨ Service: Luggage storage before check-in is available. The staff were friendly and made an effort to communicate using translation apps. I stayed for 5 nights, and housekeeping cleaned the room every day, replenished tissues, and replaced bath towels, hair towels, and bath floor mats daily. Everything was very clean ✨ Cons: The room is not completely soundproof, so you may hear some light noise from outside during check-out hours. This was not a major issue and did not affect the overall pleasant stay. Price: I stayed during the Christmas and New Year period, and the price was around THB 1,9xx per night. which is great value for money. Highly recommended 😀👍🏻⭐

The hotel is located incredibly close to all the hotspots but the hotel itself isn’t great. The reception was quite rude and impatient when we asked questions. The water pressure in the shower is so bad and you also wait so long for hot water. Overall, I would not stay here again.

After landing at Pudong International Airport last night around 10 PM, it was too late to go home, so we opted for a nearby hotel that offered airport shuttle service. We hurried to catch the 11 PM shuttle. In the morning, shuttles depart for the international airport every 50 minutes past the hour. The shuttle service was quite good. However, the hotel's facilities were really subpar. We were initially given a standard room, but the shower drain was clogged. The staff kindly upgraded us to a family room. Unfortunately, the sink in the family room's bathroom caused my right thumb to bleed quite a bit because the drain stopper was so stiff and wouldn't budge. The entire room felt quite stuffy, and the hotel itself seemed old and rundown. Even the new room we were given had drainage issues... Its convenient location is a plus, and for just one night, my expectations weren't high, so the price was acceptable. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was enough to fill up. A warm bowl of congee was a nice touch too.
