Hôtel la Grande Conque

We stayed there for one night. The decor is cute, the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s located in front of the best beach in the area with black sand and cliffs. We regret only staying one night but we will be back. Only downside is that it’s a 20 min drive to the naturalist village.

Super friendly welcome, nothing was too much bother. We stayed last night following a last minute decision to explore the area whilst on holiday an hour away. Friendly welcome, clean and tidy rooms, stunning view of the beach…. Attentive beyond belief even leading to the guy at reception (sorry didn’t get his name) running down to main road to guide me into the secure parking! And presenting me trying a Ricard with ice once in reception!! If there was any room for improvement might I suggest just a little more hot breakfast maybe bacon and sausage to add to the scrambled egg.. But honestly this place well worth a visit!!! Fabulous

At La Grande Conque you get the perks of an international hotel (24h reception, AC, stylish interior, parking with EV charge points, coffeemaker in your room) with the warm and friendly atmosphere of a family-owned boutique hotel. The comfortable room had a decent size with a balcony and a view of the sea. The breakfast area is cosy and stylish, also with a magnificent view. At breakfast you can ask for scrambled or fried eggs and fresh juice. The buffet is good but could do with a bit more variety in the "savoury department" if you're on a longer stay. The absolute biggest advantage is the location. It is situated in a more quite area of the otherwise very busy and touristy Cap d'Agde. It really felt like an oasis of calmness. There are a bunch of restaurants nearby, at the old harbor, and it is a 10-15 minute walk to the (very) busy bits of Cap.

Great premises and killer staff, but the real kicker is the proximity to the loveliest beach in town. A 30 second walk, and you find yourself in this volcanic creek with gorgeous views of the bay. Did early morning yoga and took a swim as the sun was coming up. This is what this hotel provides – on top of everything else! Also, great breakfast experience. A no-brainer.

Fantastic hotel. Brilliant hotel, the views were fantastic. Rooms were very comfy and great hotel to chill, especially for couples. Found the breakfast on the the dear side for continental,so only had it the once. Downside the WiFi was non existent,could not connect all week. Walk to the harbour/restaurants was around 20/25 minutes but was a bus every hour by the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel with fabulous position close to beach and less busy area than the main port area. Spectacular view from sea view rooms. Shame no bar but wine available to buy and enjoy the sunsets! Staff were delightful! Friendly, capable, genuine and pretty much faultless! Secure car parking on site a plus too.

This hotel is THE place to relax! the location, the owners, the breakfast, the rooms, with sea view (we had the roof top with big terras and best view ) …. the 3 beaches on walking distance it was ALL FANTASTIC! You should have the experience yourself and be surprised . Stefanie & Frans

I love the personnel of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful. However, they overcharge for extras. For example, parking is 15 euros a day. Breakfast is 20 euros per person and is very small and simple. We got 2 small bottles of water as no water was provided and we had to pay 3 euros per bottle. And on top of that the hotel is already expensive for what it offers.

Great location and service. While the facilities are genrerally simple, the service is exceptional and the location is fantastic.
