"The airport transfer service was quite convenient. After landing, clearing immigration took only 10 minutes with no issues, and someone was already waiting with a sign upon arrival. The drop-off service, however, might be slightly less frequent.
Bruneians seem very warm and welcoming, and the front desk staff were very patient.
However, the bed was quite small – my feet were hanging off! But I suppose that's consistent with the price point. On the positive side, the room itself was spacious."
"Short stay (1 night) and the plan was to check out the room for future stays. Room was spacious. Comfortable beds. Food offered in the room service menu met my basic, as I’m a picky eater. On very short stays as this, i usually prefer to dine in. Bathroom was small but fine for a solo traveller."
"The staff of the hotel are very nice. the driver Boy is a good guy. He dropped us off some where nearby when he' free. The location is ok. you can go somewhere by walk, like museum, shopping mall.
The problem is the Air conditioner is not cold enough. the breakfast can also improve.
overall, its nice to stay there."
"I booked a junior suite, which is spacious and has a twin bed and a bathtub. The furniture in the room is new, but the bed is not. The bathroom also looks old, but it's good enough. It's near a famous gym and coffee shop, a 2-3 minute walk away. There is a free airport transfer to save money on a taxi. If you're looking into the near waterfront, Jubilee is a good location."
"1. The hotel is slightly located, 2km away from the city center;
2. There are many shops and restaurants near the hotel, making it very convenient to eat;
3. Breakfast and lunch are very good, with many varieties and most of them are local specialties;
4. The front desk service is enthusiastic."
"Probably the only chain hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan, capital of Brunei. Location is great, right in the city centre. Museums and mosques nearby. The hotel itself was fine, however it is looking a little dated now. Could do with a renovation. Saying that, all amenities worked well and the pool was nice enough to take a dip to beat the heat.
Tip: download the Dart APP (Brunei's answer to Uber/Grab) and change some money (Brunei dollars or Singapore dollars are accepted everywhere)."
"The hotel is in a prime location, close to all attractions, the room is of a suitable size, the surrounding places to eat are also very good, and the hotel service is also very good. The entire Brunei transportation is extremely inconvenient, there are few public transportation and taxis are very expensive."
"The hotel staff are very friendly and the location is excellent. The hotel room is super large and has one bedroom and one living room. There are many restaurants to choose from near the hotel, so you won’t be hungry at night."
"Abdul Razak Hotel Apartments is a very excellent option for the travelers who prefers to stay in a convenient but relatively quiet place.
Also, the facility and the staff are superior to make sure your stay will be pleasant while you visit Bandar Seri Begawan :)"
"Good location, in the city center, three minutes walk to Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque, three minutes walk to Sultan Memorial Hall, two minutes walk to Water Village Pier, less than one minute walk to Brunei Royal Plaza, two minutes walk to the shopping center, there is a large supermarket in the basement of the shopping center, all kinds of goods are very complete. There are many restaurants in the shopping center, which is convenient for eating. I checked out of the original hotel before 12 noon because of the flight at 2 am the next day, and temporarily booked a small single room to rest and take a shower before going to the airport. The price is relatively cheap, the main disadvantage is that there is only one bathroom for all the rooms in the youth hostel, and the toilet and shower are all in it. If there are many guests, there will definitely be problems and it will take a long time to wait."
