According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service.

"The constant presence of staff at the front desk was reassuring, and their guidance was excellent. The breakfast was good. It was a nice touch to have two complimentary bottles of water in the room. The availability of multiple rental umbrellas was very helpful. The room cleanliness was perfectly fine. My only minor disappointment was that the body soap pump was broken."

With Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Flixbus and Basilica of Saint Mark Evangelist all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. "The environment here is great! Downstairs, they always have iced water and croissants available, which is perfect for breakfast and helps save a lot of money in Europe. It's also very close to the city center, especially the train station. As for the facilities, the lobby has many sofas and is decorated in a very regal, palace-like style."

The service is very good, very clean and tidy, the doorman is very enthusiastic, and greets you every time you go in and out~ The room is clean and the bathroom is large, the location is good, and the pasta in the restaurant opposite is delicious. The rooftop terrace is beautiful, but you can only go up from one elevator. The other elevator goes to the suite on the 6th floor~ I didn't meet other people on the terrace, it was quiet and comfortable

I was caught in a heavy downpour and completely soaked when I went to pick up my luggage after checking out. I was really struggling, so I truly appreciated being offered a towel and a hairdryer. Thank you very much. However, in the room, only one power outlet seemed to be working, which was inconvenient. Also, there was a leak in the bathroom sink.

Honestly, this was the best hotel of our trip, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Florence. **Facilities**: The room design is great, and those facing the street even have small balconies. **Cleanliness**: Spotless, no complaints. **Environment**: The hotel's location is a bit tricky if you're driving. While it's not actually *in* the ZTL, it's right next to it, making it easy to accidentally drive into the restricted zone. Also, the trams outside can be a bit noisy, but it's fine once you close the windows and doors. **Service**: The service was a bit slow-paced. I had to complete check-in before I could even access the parking lot, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, the hotel's design is excellent and I highly recommend it.

This hotel's rooms are incredibly beautiful and clean! They provide a wide array of disposable amenities, including slippers and body lotion, which is quite rare for European hotels. Our room even had a small balcony with a lovely view of the pool downstairs and the surrounding trees. While breakfast wasn't entirely to my taste, the variety was impressive, even featuring honey with a honeycomb. The front desk offers complimentary luggage storage, which was very helpful. A thoughtful touch was the free long-handled umbrellas available for guests, especially since it happened to be raining during our stay. The only real downside is that, despite being close to Florence train station in a straight line, the walk from the station to the hotel is actually quite long. Plus, exiting the Florence station involves going down a set of stairs, which is very inconvenient with large luggage. This made the walk to the hotel feel even longer, especially with intersections where poor signal made maps unclear and it was easy to get lost. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this hotel. The internal environment is very well-maintained, and the front desk staff are patient and polite. If I have the chance to visit Florence again, I would definitely choose this hotel. The price is truly excellent value for money.

DEalinatravelling
I traveled as a solo female traveler, and unfortunately, only one out of three nights was peaceful. I want to warn others about several management and safety issues I encountered here. On Trip.com, only mixed dorms were available. The platform lists two types of 6-bed dorms: one explicitly labeled 'Mixed Gender' (which I booked) and another generic '6-Bed Dormitory Room' without any gender indication. Since there was no 'Female-only' option, I assumed these were essentially the same thing. I ended up alone in a room with three men, which felt quite unsafe and intimidating. My sleep was constantly interrupted by loud neighbors and the person in the bunk below me shaking the bed all night When I requested a move to a female dorm or a more balanced mixed room the next morning, the staff was unhelpful. They claimed they couldn't move me because I hadn't booked through their website, even though female beds were available!! They initially demanded I pay the full price again for the next two nights. After contacting Trip.com support, the hostel still refused to cooperate. Eventually, a more reasonable receptionist helped resolve the issue peacefully. On my last night, a large group of school students arrived. They were incredibly loud, and it took over an hour after ”quiet hours” began for teachers and staff to finally calm them down. Be aware of this. Cleanliness: Rooms are relatively clean. Self-Service: You must make your own bed, which is very difficult if you are assigned a top bunk. Extra Costs: Towels are not included and cost 1.9€. Payment: They are strictly card-only. Pros: There is free hot water at reception, a luggage room, and the location is conveniently close to the Campo di Marte station. If you are a solo female traveler, be aware that management might prioritize profit over your safety and comfort :)

The hotel is very close to the train station, with various Chinese supermarkets, restaurants, and souvenir shops downstairs, which is very convenient. We arrived around 11 AM, and the owner allowed us to check in early and arranged a top-floor room with a balcony. The double bed was large and very comfortable, and the balcony view was absolutely stunning, directly overlooking the Duomo. With such a balcony, you almost don't want to go out! The hotel service was also good, and the breakfast was decent.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the train station. Right after I booked, the price dropped, and after I contacted Trip.com, customer service immediately refunded the difference. When we checked our luggage, the front desk tried to upsell us to a larger room for 30 Euros, but we didn't have much luggage so we declined. The room was indeed small, mainly the bathroom door was hard to open without bumping into things; it should really be a sliding door. All visible areas were quite clean, but there was a lot of dust on the cups and tabletop. A kettle and tea bags were provided, but no free water. The kettle also had a lot of limescale, so I didn't dare use it. Breakfast was quite simple. Overall, it's good value for money.

Amazing stay. 10 min drive to a parking in the City Center in Florence. Kids loved it, they were tired of hotels, this is a tiny house, lots of families around, camper vans, playground, shop, pool, laundry. The tiny house is super clean, spotless, probably brand new. Very efficient, well organised. We took a premium one, it is already not large for a family. Spotless linen and towels, all duvets were sealed in a bag, looks dry cleaned, fresh. All tableware, cooking ware and cutlery provided. Air conditioner in both rooms, mosquito nets, proper water pressure and hot water. Very nice attentive staff. We checking late in the evening, which was a plus for us, we saw a checking queue in the morning it looked very long. All the best to this place and the team!

Excellent location, excellent treatment and service by all the staff, especially by the receptionist who is there in the mornings and who knows how to speak Spanish. Their kindness and attention: exceptional, the fact that it has a swimming pool, even if it is small, to take a dip especially in summer, with the heat that it is, is an important point to take into account, and although I have read that they do not warn that it does not have an elevator and that in many cases, like us, they send you to the second floor with many steps, it is true, but they also take your suitcases up and down. Without a doubt, I will stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Florence.

During my recent trip to Florence, I had the pleasure of staying at the Anglo American Hotel. Overall, my experience at this hotel was delightful, and I would gladly recommend it to fellow travelers. First and foremost, the location of the Anglo American Hotel is superb. Situated in the heart of Florence, it offers easy access to the city's major attractions, including the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Uffizi Gallery. The hotel's central location made it convenient for me to explore the city on foot and truly immerse myself in its rich history and culture. The hotel itself has a charming and elegant ambiance. The interior is tastefully decorated, combining classic elements with modern touches. The common areas, such as the lobby and lounge, are inviting and provide a comfortable space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff at the Anglo American Hotel deserves special praise. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had, and their local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in helping me navigate the city and discover hidden gems. My room at the hotel was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the room amenities, including a flat-screen TV and minibar, met my expectations. The cleanliness and tidiness of the room were maintained throughout my stay, thanks to the diligent housekeeping staff. While the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, it does offer a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. The breakfast spread was varied and catered to different tastes and dietary preferences. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and the selection of local cheeses and cured meats. One minor drawback was the absence of a fitness center or spa facilities within the hotel. However, the staff was helpful in providing information about nearby fitness centers and wellness options, ensuring that guests have access to these amenities if desired. In summary, my stay at the Anglo American Hotel Florence was a delightful experience. The prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations contributed to a memorable visit to this beautiful city. While the absence of certain amenities was a minor drawback, it did not significantly impact my overall satisfaction with the hotel. I would recommend the Anglo American Hotel to travelers seeking a centrally located, well-appointed hotel with a charming ambiance in Florence.
