Guest UserLovely property within walking distance of Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station, making it very convenient for travelers. We had requested a room on a higher floor, and the hotel kindly accommodated our request.
The staff were extremely courteous and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Irene, Sara and Andrea at reception, who were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist us. Also, heartfelt thanks to Patricia from the breakfast team, whose kindness and hospitality made our mornings even more pleasant.
The breakfast spread was excellent, but the real highlight was the breakfast area itself—absolutely stunning. Words cannot fully describe how beautiful and charming that space is.
Our room also had access to a lovely shared balcony overlooking the charming courtyard where breakfast is served, which added to the overall experience.
On our last day, we had to leave early at 6:30 AM. The staff thoughtfully packed breakfast for us in advance and had it ready before our departure. Patricia also informed us that she would be available from 6:00 AM in case we needed anything, which we truly appreciated.
We had a wonderful 4-night stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Florence.

The hotel is very close to the train station and bus station, and the hotel room looks relatively clean. However, the hotel does not even provide mineral water, so the price is still a bit low. It may be due to the peak season, I can only understand it this way.

Room is near station and so is walking distance. Also about 15-20 minute walk to the Basillica. Breakfast was included, and was very good. Room itself was spacious, bathroom was large, but very poorly designed, where the shower was tiny. Some upper floor rooms had a good view, our did not. Staff was friendly. Luggage could be stored before and after checkin. Overall enjoyed the stay good room, good service, breakfast and location.

Leotang9082Though it is a little bit old and antique if I can put it lime this, this hotel enjoys a very great location which you just need to walk about 5 minutes from SMN station.
The street is full of great Asian food shops and just a couple minutes away from the famous central market.
The service is good, and the breakfast is not abundant but is ok for a short stay.
The washroom is old, and i cluldn't even be able to use the toilet, cause I need to pull the flush string quite a few times skillfully to make it work. The AC is really good, very useful esp in such a hot day.

We had a very good stay, the room was spacious and very comfortable. The only thing is that it’s not specify on trip.com that the room in not directly a part of the hotel but a room in a building at 4 minutes. The address for the checking is Via delle Ruote, 52, 50129 Firenze FI, Italy (Hotel royal). We could still enjoy all the services as breakfast, pool and luggage storage. I recommend

Guest UserThe hotel is about a twenty-minute drive from the train station. If you turn right after exiting the hotel, there's a bus stop within a two-minute walk that takes you directly to the Florence Cathedral. Walk an extra minute and you'll find a large supermarket with a great selection of goods, perfect for buying food to cook back at the hotel. Our room (Room 13) was spacious, with a separate kitchen, walk-in closet, bathroom, and a huge terrace.
I booked four nights consecutively for just over 3700 yuan. Breakfast isn't included. This is a guesthouse converted from an old house, and it's very quiet. It overlooks a garden, which provides a lovely environment. There's also a gym on the basement level, though I didn't get around to using it.

I stayed with my aunt and my friend for 2 nights recently; we had 3 beds in the same room, 1 single and 1 double. The hotel had basic amenities - private bathroom which was a little small for me and a TV in the room. We didn't notice a kettle in the room but to be honest, we weren't really bothered since we had paid for the hotel breakfast.
The breakfast had small selection of hot food: eggs and sausages were really good. The coffee machine wasn't working properly but the staff did everything they could to provide espressos for the guests. Speaking of the staff, they were so kind and amazing, The 1st staff we saw was kind enough to mark the local/popular attractions on the map and give us some guidance on what to do and where to go. They also gave us this incentive where we all got free breakfasts for the 2nd day after signing up to the hotel account (or something like that). The only major con about the stay was that our room was located right next to the elevator and it was noisy all morning and late at night so please if you can, ask for a faraway room!

The staff were really friendly and helpful! I met the lady with beautiful grey hair who takes care of breakfast and cleaning during my stay. The big problem is she doesn’t understand English, I handed my phone for her to speak via Google translate. She didn’t say anything! A second later she started talking in Italian again. This happened a few times in 3 minutes of facing her. She denied talking on Google translate. So I gave up and walked away…she said “respecta”, I assumed it means “respect”. I kept showing her Google translate in Italian that “whatever you wanna say, you say here since I don’t understand Italian”.
The guests should be informed/reminded of “quiet hours”.
BUT it gets pretty noisy from the guests… when someone opens the doors, everyone hears it. I could hear my neighbours chatting, sneezing, coughing, and all that. My room is facing the backyard, last night some guests living downstairs were enjoying the backyard at 11 pm. it was loud!
Shower was another problem, water didn’t seem to go down the drain properly.
The bed was two twins joined together without any proper topper. Thus, the twin beds were moving away from one another at night if you sleep in the middle. This part is common sense, either the hotel puts topper or the guest sleep on one side of the bed.
The WiFi was reliable.
Breakfast was pretty basic.
Make sure to bring good-quality earplugs with you…
