The Ten to Ten Hostel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Ten to Ten Hostel offers a pleasant stay in Sapporo for those traveling for business or leisure. With Sapporo Station just 600m away and Sapporo Okadama Airport only 8km away, transportation is very convenient. Being just minutes away from Sapporo Metro Station allows guests to explore the city with ease. With Former Hokkaido Government Office Building Red Brick Building, Sapporo | LiSA LiVE is Smile Always~LACE UP~ and Hokkaido University all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city.

"Clean hostel with good beds and convenient location if you need to take the train. Reception was never open although I arrived around 6pm, they were offering a welcome drink that was not possible to get. It’s a pity that the curtains have big gaps that let people see inside your capsule on the side and above it. It would be easy to fix by adding some plywood but not a major issue."

Chalet Ivy Jozankei

9.6/10
Amazing

Our stay at Chalet Ivy Jozankei was truly memorable and one of the best luxury hotel experiences we have had in Japan. The hotel is beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and the hospitality from most of the staff was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady at reception (whose name I unfortunately did not catch), who shared that she personally grows the beautiful flowers displayed in the hotel's sitting area. That personal touch immediately made us feel at home. Mr. Tai, who checked us in, was friendly, patient, courteous and professional. He took the time to explain the room features and hotel facilities in detail, making us feel genuinely welcomed. The cleanliness deserves special recognition. I am particularly sensitive to cleanliness and usually notice dust very easily, yet I could not find a single speck of dirt anywhere in the room. It is honestly one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The lounge was another highlight. Each guest received a ¥1,000 alcoholic drink credit, and the complimentary snacks featured premium Hokkaido brands such as LeTAO, Yoshimi and Ryugetsu, making the experience feel truly luxurious. Dinner was outstanding. Every course was beautifully presented and delicious, while the restaurant staff provided attentive and polished service. The hotel's tasteful interior perfectly complemented the stunning views of the lush greenery and Toyohira River. We were also delighted to find beautifully cut and chilled melon and strawberries waiting in our room upon arrival. It was a thoughtful welcome that reflected the hotel's exceptional attention to detail. Breakfast was equally impressive, with beautifully prepared dishes that made each morning enjoyable. The private onsen in our room was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay, allowing us to relax while enjoying the peaceful natural surroundings. While our overall experience was excellent, I have a few suggestions for improvement. One Japanese male staff member who was on duty during check-in and later that evening came across as rather cold. On several occasions, I smiled and greeted him, but he did not acknowledge me and simply walked away. The contrast with the warmth shown by the rest of the team was quite noticeable. As such a premium property, it would also be wonderful if the hotel could offer more cultural or wellness activities, such as tea appreciation sessions, guided evening walks or seasonal experiences. During a previous stay at Capella Singapore, these activities became some of the most memorable parts of our visit, and I believe Chalet Ivy Jozankei has the perfect setting to offer something similar. I would also like to suggest a different restaurant seating arrangement for tables of four. Currently, only two guests can enjoy the beautiful river and greenery views while the other two face the interior of the restaurant. Arranging the tables perpendicular to the windows would allow all four guests to enjoy the spectacular scenery during their meal. Lastly, although we appreciated receiving tickets to the Summer Night Illumination Festival, accessing the main street requires walking up a very steep slope that is shared with vehicles, which could be challenging and potentially unsafe for elderly guests. In the future, perhaps a pedestrian bridge connecting Level 5 directly to the street level could improve accessibility and safety. Overall, Chalet Ivy Jozankei delivered an exceptional luxury experience with outstanding cleanliness, thoughtful hospitality, remarkable cuisine and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so memorable.

We stayed 6 nights in Hotel Sosei Sapporo. It takes 10-12 minutes walk from Sapporo station, the hotel just located next to Sapporo Factory, a historical building which became a shopping mall. We satisfied with all the services provided by the hotel, including breakfast, welcome drinks, room service and reception. Most of the hotel staff can speak English, they are friendly and helpful. Definitely we will stay in this hotel again if visit Sapporo again.

Stayed at STREAM Hotel in Sapporo for three nights and it was incredibly comfortable. The location is excellent, with the hotel situated from the 7th floor upwards in a shopping complex. Downstairs, there's a supermarket, mall, restaurants, and a subway station. Right outside is Sapporo's most bustling commercial street, with famous department stores, Tanukikoji Shopping Street, and Odori Park all nearby. We booked an executive room on the 16th floor, which was spacious and included access to the hot springs and executive lounge for dining. We also had the option to enjoy breakfast at the executive breakfast area on the 18th floor. The room was clean, the bedding comfortable, and the toiletries were high-quality. Very satisfied overall.

I stayed two nights at the Keio Plaza Hotel on Wednesday and Thursday, then moved to the New Furano Prince Hotel on Friday, and returned to the Keio Plaza Hotel on Saturday for another stay. When I got back to Sapporo from Furano, it was already 7 PM. A young lady checked me in and asked me to fill in my address. I wrote the name of my city. She insisted on a full address, and I told her that's how I wrote it last time. She then relented and said, 'Okay.' After that, she told me that my stay didn't include breakfast for the next day. I remembered it did, but she confidently told me it wasn't included and marked 'no breakfast' on my room card. I had to ask her, 'How much is breakfast if I pay for it myself?' She said 4000 JPY, but hotel guests get a 10% discount. So, the next day I paid 3600 JPY for breakfast. After breakfast, I still felt something was off, so I carefully checked my Ctrip order again and found that breakfast was indeed included. I went to the front desk, but the young lady was no longer on duty. After explaining the situation to the staff member, he refunded my payment. When I checked out, I formally complained about that lady at the hotel front desk. I believe such incidents shouldn't happen, but I don't know if she did it on purpose. Therefore, for this stay, I only gave a three-star rating for service, because aside from that one lady, everyone else's service was quite good.

Courtyard by Marriott Sapporo

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel. We had some of the best sleep during our stay. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows and soft, high-quality linens. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and very well soundproofed, with lots of space to store luggage and personal items, plus many useful amenities. The entire hotel has a modern, clean design and is kept in excellent condition. The staff were very kind, professional, and spoke English, which made everything easy. They even provided umbrellas free of charge when it rained, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel bar also deserves a mention. The service was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the parfaits were delicious. Since parfaits are very popular locally in Sapporo, I definitely recommend trying one here. The location is convenient too: just a short walk from Susukino and the Sapporo city center, close to the station by a few metro stops, and easy to reach by taxi. Overall, this Marriott was a real gem. Because of such a pleasant experience here, I’ll definitely consider staying at other Marriott Courtyard hotels in the future.

This onsen hotel is definitely worth the price. The environment and hygiene are excellent, and the room layout is fantastic. The yukata was the most comfortable I wore during my Hokkaido trip. The service was absolutely superb, especially the proprietress at the Kaiseki restaurant, Shoan. She was incredibly elegant and generous, giving us an authentic and meticulous Japanese service experience. The private onsen with a fee had average views. The outdoor public onsen was closed on the day of my stay due to cold weather. The indoor onsen, for a hotel of this price point, was quite ordinary. Therefore, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the onsen experience. All in all, while it might not be exceptionally surprising, this is a hotel that's well worth its price.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and nice, and they were even kind enough to offer me a late check-out at 1:00 PM, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious, the public bath was a great feature, and the self-service luggage storage was very convenient. the hotel is a bit of a walk from the metro, it is near a bus stop for the airport limousine. The breakfast variety was a bit more limited compared to other hotels I have visited. Overall, the hospitality made for a wonderful experience.

The room was new and spacious; we could easily open two large suitcases. The location was very convenient. I look forward to staying here again. There's a Family Mart downstairs, so you don't have to worry about getting hungry at night, and a drugstore right across the street. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied.

Fantastic hotel! Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, and there was a slight variation in the breakfast options over the two days. The room was incredibly spacious, with plenty of space to open multiple suitcases. The view was great, you could even see the Ferris wheel. Plus, it's just a few minutes' walk from the subway station.

There's a free shuttle bus service from JR Station, I took the 13:00 bus and arrived at the hotel at 13:45. The staff kindly allowed me to check in early, which was really nice. They have a water park and large onsen facilities. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious; even though the variety wasn't huge, the food quality was consistently good. The Chateraise desserts and ice cream bars were especially tasty! On the day I checked in, there were Japanese, Hong Kong, *********, Korean tour groups, and even a Japanese school group. Although there were a lot of people, the hotel grounds are extensive, and the buffet items were refilled very quickly both morning and evening. The hotel has a classic feel, but everything is very well-maintained. The most traditional thing was that the air conditioning in the room was pre-set to 25 degrees Celsius, and the windows couldn't be opened. Given the current weather, it was a bit stuffy...
