The staff is very pleasant and the breakfast is satisfactory, but unfortunately the buffet is closed. (Forced to choose what you want the day before...) The right space for its price may be a bit too small. On the other hand, there is a lot of noise behind the walls and ceiling, which may be due to poor insulation. The bathroom is very good and the water pressure is good.

I stayed at Theaterhotel Venlo during Carnival for one night. The room was good, the indoor parking average (a bit narrow and expensive (15,00 EUR for 24 hours)). But the breakfast service was very weak! The personnel - three ladies - did not care pretty much about the buffet (bread rolls and scrumbled eggs were empty) but the guest has to ask to fill it up although there were many guests in the breakfast room. Besides you have to go to breakfast bar to ask for hot tea, coffee etc. as nobody from the personnel felt responsible to go to the guest's table to ask whether hot tea, coffee etc. is wished. The same with dirty plates on tables. Nobody of personnel cleaned it up. For 100,00 EUR for one night including breakfast - single occupancy - in such medium-sized city of Venlo I can expect proactive and attentive guest service! Probably I do not recommend Theaterhotel Venlo. P.S.: In the breakfast room it is very drafty as it there isn't any doors and it is part of the huge entrance lobby of theater of Venlo. So not very cozy there!

The theater remodeled hotel, super nice, the gate is too bright, and in the city center, the gate is the square and the church. The hotel has its own parking lot. After the check-out, you can get a parking ticket for free.

Nice quiet location in forest but not so fare from City center. For traveling you can hire bicycle at reception. Great smiling stuff, very worm approach. Great Breakfast, focused to save environment. Nice swimming pool and sauna.

We made this a stopover in our way to the Harz Mountains and it was a total treat - relaxed elegance. Would have liked to have stayed longer to explore the gardens next door and the ceramic museum. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, pretty terrace and picturesque moat. Only downside was they had fully booked the restaurant so we had to go elsewhere but this turned out to be a good move! The reception is already the good start. The staff is mega friendly. The room or suite - class! Modern, large, fully equipped. All great. Also complete kitchen furnished is there. Good that we had the beds too soft ....is viewing matter. The drinks at the bar were amazingly good! The Gin Tonic wouldn't have got a bar better. Breakfast ....eh ....ja .... Youth hostel! This describes it fully. You get something. Cantineflair, cantine quality. Well, yes. The location of the hotel is top!

This is really a beautifully located hotel! Within the forest: 's evening a bit of walking to the Iron Rhine, and a wild pig seen. Prima wellness, with swimming pool and sauna! The room was spacious enough, bathroom idem, the soap dispenser did not well, unfortunately, because good shower stuff. The restaurant: clear , compact map. Good quality food. The staff should explain something more, for example, with the cheeses, and when I asked the superintendent for a new glass for the red wine, he first checked whether the glass was really used 😉, I think inexperience. But with all the friendly service!
