Hotels with Breakfast in Kunming

Facilities: The hotel opened this year, so everything is super clean and the facilities are all brand new. We arrived in Kunming at night, and it's really close to Kunming Station, within walking distance, which was very convenient. Ambiance: The environment is also excellent. We checked in around midnight, and the kids were too tired, so I didn't get a chance to take photos. But as soon as we walked in, it felt so beautiful, like stepping into a cafe 🥰. Service: The service was absolutely top-notch. The ladies helped us with our luggage, gave little gifts to the kids, and even showed us to our room. So thoughtful ❤️. (It's a shame I only took this one photo...)

If you're visiting Kunming city, this is a no-brainer choice. 1. The location is excellent; you can walk to Old Street, Cuihu Lake, Nanping Ancient Street, and Nanqiang Night Market, and there are tons of great restaurants nearby. 2. The soundproofing is fantastic; even though it's in a busy area, it's very quiet at night. The bedding is comfortable, not too soft or too hard, ensuring a good night's sleep. 3. The facilities are new and complete. It's a newly renovated hotel with very modern amenities, the air conditioning controls temperature well, and the water pressure is strong. It's managed like a standard star-rated hotel, with everything you'd expect and more. 4. The breakfast is rich and plentiful, comparable to Marriott standards, and parking is convenient too.

This hotel was a stopover for my return flight from Kunming the next day. I originally planned to book a different hotel, but I saw the good reviews and decided to go with this one for its value for money. It was indeed a good choice. It's newly renovated, and the facilities are very new, not inferior to other hotels. It's quite noisy near the airport at night, and the neighbors were also loud, but they provided earplugs, which was great. For breakfast, there were four stir-fried dishes. The dining area was small and very cramped. Lower-priced hotels tend to attract guests who hog seats and grab food... Finally, this was the only hotel that didn't call me before check-in, and I thought that was that. But after checking out, they called me for a good review... The environment is decent, but the service doesn't quite measure up and can't compare to other hotels.

My flight was delayed, so I landed past midnight. First, a shoutout to Ctrip for helping me cancel my original booking even though it was after 6 PM! Then I chose this Ji Hotel inside the airport. The location is absolutely perfect; I was in my room 5 minutes after getting my luggage, and I didn't even have to leave the terminal! The room was spacious, the hot water was reliable, and the breakfast can be redeemed at any dining establishment within the airport, which is incredibly convenient!

The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, room service was prompt, and breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, incredible value for money, and an outstanding stay. Highly recommended!

Overall, it was genuinely great. I stayed here with my parents and child, and the beds were quite large. The breakfast was plentiful; though I didn't get to try it, my parents did and they were very happy, which made me happy too. The front desk staff was excellent. When my child wasn't feeling well, they told us which hospital to go to, and all our questions and issues were communicated and resolved promptly. The hotel also has a laundry room. It was a pleasant stay, and the location was convenient for getting everywhere. Really good!

The most satisfying stay of our entire trip! The hotel environment is clean and elegant, and the public areas are well-maintained. The room is spacious, with meticulous attention to cleanliness throughout, including corners and the bathroom. The bedding is fluffy and comfortable, and the double-glazed windows provide excellent sound insulation, completely blocking out noise from the hallway. The front desk staff were patient and meticulous, proactively informing us about nearby attractions and local eateries. Any items we requested were promptly delivered by room service. Parking is convenient, the toiletries are high-quality, and the breakfast offers a rich and fresh variety. It's suitable for both business and leisure travelers. I genuinely recommend it, and I'll definitely choose this hotel first when I return to the area.

Traveling with the whole family, we chose this hotel and it completely exceeded our expectations. The room was meticulously cleaned, with not a speck of dust even in the corners. The lighting and ventilation were excellent, and the mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The staff were all very polite and gentle, and both check-in and check-out were handled very efficiently. It's conveniently located near dining and shopping options, and the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet and peaceful at night. We couldn't find any faults with the hygiene, service, or environment, and it was also convenient for our child to do homework. We had a comfortable stay and highly recommend it.

The hotel's decor isn't modern; it has a traditional American style. The bathroom mirror and wall sconces reminded me of a home I once lived in, which had a similar design, so it felt very nostalgic. Although the room's facilities show their age, you can tell they've been meticulously cared for and well-maintained by the hotel staff. The cleanliness is spot-on, and the hotel service is very attentive, friendly, and polite. I recommend the connecting rooms for families; they offer plenty of space while still providing a good degree of privacy. The location is excellent. Just a short walk from the hotel, you can find authentic 'xiaoguo mixian' (small-pot rice noodles) and local barbecue. You can easily reach many wild mushroom hotpot restaurants by scooter. It was really enjoyable taking the kids around to experience the cityscape of Kunming.

Facilities: This is a Shangri-La Group express hotel, boasting a stylish and modern design. It shares the same building with the main Shangri-La hotel, so guests have access to their gym and swimming pool. The brand-new amenities make for a very comfortable stay. Location: It's conveniently located near the Parc 66 shopping mall area, and the Tuodong Sports Center Metro Station (Line 3) is right outside, making travel easy. Service: The hotel's Kaitang Cafe offers an excellent breakfast with a wide variety of high-quality dishes, including local specialties and outstanding bakery items. The restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful. The fitness center also provides fantastic service; they even offer complimentary coffee after your workout. I'd also like to thank the front desk staff, ISABEL, LOUIS, and HALINA, for their excellent service during my stay.
