This stay experience really exceeded expectations, and this hotel must be given a full score! From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was amazed by the warm and elegant environment. The decoration was simple and stylish, the lighting was soft, and there was a faint aroma in the air, which made people feel relaxed and comfortable.
The front desk staff was very attentive, the check-in speed was very fast, the whole process was smiling, and we took the initiative to help us with our luggage, introduce hotel facilities and surrounding play guides, patiently answer all questions, gentle and professional attitude, and people felt particularly warm.
The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and there is no noise interference when lying down for a good night. The room has good lighting, a wide view, complete bathroom facilities and clean odor-free, the quality of toiletries is also good, there are free mineral water and small snacks, and the details are full of care.
The hotel's breakfast is rich in variety, Chinese and Western styles, fresh ingredients, great taste, can meet the needs of different tastes. The public areas are spotless, the elevators and corridors are clean and tidy, the security measures are also in place, and the stay is full of security.
The location is also very good, the travel is convenient, the surrounding transportation and dining are very convenient. LLansedemeng4616Traveling through Southeast Yunnan with family and friends, we stayed at this hotel on our way home. It's a new hotel, only opened this year, and it was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and the front desk staff, especially one young lady, provided really thoughtful and heartwarming service. She even escorted us to our room and helped us with our luggage, making us feel right at home. The hotel is also very close to Kunming Railway Station – just a ten-minute walk with our suitcases. All in all, a great experience!

GGuest UserArrived at night, and the airport pickup was very efficient. The hotel isn't far from the airport. Even though it was almost midnight when I checked in, the two front desk ladies were still very gentle and patient. Not only did they upgrade my room, but they also gave me a complimentary fruit platter. The hotel room was very clean, the bedding was spotless, and the in-room facilities were new and well-equipped. It was great, definitely recommend!

AAnonymous UserThe facilities are simple and compact; the space is small but sufficient. The elevator, which many people have mentioned, is indeed a bit slow, but it's acceptable. Breakfast is a bit unexciting, and the gym is quite empty. If you order takeout, a robot will deliver it to your room. The service is very good and responsive.
The hotel is located in the old downtown area, at the intersection of several shopping malls: Bailian, Shuncheng, Wangfujing, and Baida are right downstairs. Next to it is the old street night market, which is very convenient if you enjoy the vibe of the old city. In the evening, there's ethnic dancing at Bailian Square, which is very lively.

They even have robots that can deliver takeout, which is pretty smart. 胡胡姑娘We had a really wonderful experience. My family and I, a total of five people, booked a deluxe business smart suite room, which has three bedrooms. The hotel was new and clean. The location was nice, with a shopping mall, food stalls, and bus stop nearby. The decoration in the room was really nice and the room was spacious. Although it said that the room was smoking permitted, the room doesn't smell at all. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant stay.

WWELLCzThis is a well-established five-star hotel in the area, once famous as Kunming's tallest building. During my holiday travels, I passed through Kunming and was deciding between a hotel in a scenic area and the Grand Park Hotel. Considering the potential noise in the scenic area, I chose the latter, and I'm so glad I made that smart decision.
The front desk staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful. We had a lot of luggage, and we were fortunate enough to get an upgrade to a corner suite, which completely alleviated our concerns about space.
Both the public areas and the rooms are decorated in a simple yet elegant and stylish manner. The materials used are solid, and the maintenance is impeccable, so it doesn't feel old at all. It truly lives up to its five-star rating.
The room offered expansive views, excellent soundproofing, and was spotlessly clean. The bedding was comfortable and soft against the skin, and the hot water supply was quick and abundant. Coming back after a day of sightseeing and enjoying a relaxing bath in the tub was just perfect.
The location is right next to a subway station, with a direct one-stop ride to the high-speed rail. To the north, it's just one transfer to the Wuyi Road scenic area and commercial district, and to the east, one transfer to the airport. Taxis are also very convenient.
The hotel's facilities are comprehensive. My trip was rushed this time, so I didn't have a chance to experience the pool or other amenities. If I get the opportunity to visit Kunming again, I will definitely choose Grand Park Hotel!

The shuttle service to/from the South High-Speed Rail Station was excellent. Overall, the service was truly impeccable, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. GGuest UserThe room decor is really well done, making excellent use of the limited space – it even gave me some ideas for home organization! For environmental reasons, the room provides a water purifier for direct drinking water, and regular bottled mineral water is also available, catering to different preferences.
Since Jen shares its gym, pool, and bar facilities with Shangri-La, these amenities are far superior to what you'd typically find at a Jen hotel. If these aspects are important to you, then Jen offers great value for money in that sense.

PPsymondDespite the convenient location, comfortable beds, and all-important quiet sleep we managed to get, the hotel's communication to arrange our pick up from the train station at night and what turned out to be a self-check-in was just dismal, clearly needing more training to ensure better organisation for future guests. The following constructive advice is to help the hotel improve and for (particularly foreign) guests to note:
1. Ask for guests' phone number and inform the driver well in advance of our arrival, instead of waiting till the very last minute to do so. We reached out to the hotel via WeChat the day before and rightfully received detailed instructions (in Chinese) to find the driver (the pick up service is actually outsourced to a separate company using 3 different vans), but once we found the van, the driver angrily insisted we call the hotel to identify us by confirming our phone number - we were not allowed to board without the hotel's confirmation, which should have been done directly with the driver well in advance of our arrival.
2. This hotel is not manned after hours, let alone 24 hours, so please make it known well beforehand that we will have to check in ourselves if arriving after hours, and provide clear instructions on how to do so instead of communicating them through the phone while guiding us using the security cameras. It is not the guests' responsibility to do your administrative work (to report ourselves to the authorities by scanning the police QR code and filling out our details) at 11 o'clock at night when we have an early morning train to catch the following day. The hotel should allow guests to enter the room as soon as possible upon arrival, not have us wait half an hour while they struggle with what was clearly their first time checking in foreign guests - worse still over the phone - insisting that this be done before we could enter our room.
3. If the hotel truly wants the patronage of foreign guests, they will have to prioritise our convenience and comfort over theirs by actually having someone check us in in-person. Remotely doing so to save costs is as absurd as expecting foreign guests to communicate our details over the phone, sending photos of ourselves, our passport details etc. via WeChat, and then finding our room card and the room by talking to someone over the phone in Chinese. At the very least, these requirements and instructions should be clearly produced and communicated beforehand so that nothing is improvised.
We hope the above experience helps improve what is a decent hotel providing good value for money.
