We made a last minute booking and probably got the last available room which was a small practically windowless room, but we had the good sense to ask, “if you get a cancellation please let us know as we’d be happy to pay more for a better room”. Not 5 minutes later the phone rang with an upgrade offer - we took it and we’re so grateful to get a room with a view next to Liz & Richard’s love nest.
