This is hand-off my best hotel that I had during my whole trip, and probably the best hotel experience of my whole life (I've been traveling a lot).
The staff are so kind and so helpful. We got a free upgrade because of the low season however they didn't have to.
The room was large and lovely, and all the details in the room were nicely taken care of: high-quality amenities, a welcoming fruit plate, and even the tea offered in the room was the best black tea that I had in the entire Yunan. Trust me, I was born in China so I know what a good tea is.
The location was also the best. It is 15-20 minute walk from the Dali old town. However, the village itself is a real gem, it's not too commercial and still has local people living here, making it an authentic combo of minority ethnic culture and modern life. We enjoyed a cafe and tasty pastry last day from a small shop nearby while smelling the incense from the local temple several meters away.
I would highly recommend this place. Great life experience.

Very satisfied with the check-in experience. The lobby is clean and sanitary. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic to help us. It is very quiet and not far from the ancient city. The Three Towers are even closer. The old house has a sense of age. It is quite photogenic and the roof is more beautiful. It's breathtakingly beautiful, and the hotel's black tea is very good!
