The room was very lighting, big and beautiful views at night. Very clean and the staff was so so helpful. They helped us to book a taxi to go to The Hanging temple and buy tickets. Totally recommended. We will come back. The manager was so friendly.

Stayed here 3 nights with my family. The hotel is close to the high speed railway station. The guest room is well appointed and comfortable. Cleanliness can do better, there was mold in the bathroom. The bell staff service was lacking, our request to arrange for transport to the Train station on the day of our departure was denied The bell hop asked us t make our own arrangements Other than that, all good during our stay. We would like to make special mention to their Front Office manager, Mr Yang whom we had the pleasure to meet on the first day when we checked in. When he found out that we required a driver and a guide to bring around us to explore Datong, Mr Yang quickly made the arrangement at a reasonable price. He even arranged for the Chinese Restaurant to serve us lunch when he heard that we needed lunch. Lunch at the restaurant was good and we continued to patronise thoroughout our stay. We must compliment the great service rendered by all day dining and Chinese restaurant service teams. Thank you, once again to Mr Yang for going his extra mile to serve us. Your hospitality made our stay at Yungang Hotel so memorable.

I loved this hotel. It has an old-fashioned charm that made me feel right at home. My room was very large, comfortable, and well-equipped. All of the staff and service people were extremely courteous from start to finish. The Chinese restaurant on the 7th floor has a great choice of dishes! Highly recommended, and excellent value for money. A great base for exploring the sights around Datong.

It is not far from the ancient city of Datong and can be reached by walking. You can also watch the ancient city at night from the room, which is beautiful. Service: Warm and thoughtful, welcome fruits are provided in the room upon arrival. When I left the store, I learned that I had an upcoming trip, so I specifically asked if I needed water, and I could get it. Single bathing ticket: The added special items are very good. If you are tired from traveling, you can take a bath and steam, and you can sleep well at night. A suggestion, bathing is a public area and is not a hot spring bath. You can wear swimsuits. Therefore, guests should be prohibited from bringing mobile phones into the area to protect themselves and others.

The hotel has complete facilities and relatively new decoration. The rooms are spacious and bright, clean and tidy. The girl at the front desk and the security guard are very friendly and helpful. They even upgraded our room for free. The overall check-in experience for a family of six is very good. The breakfast is rich in varieties, especially Datong's special sliced noodles and haggis taste great! It's a pity that this trip to Datong is only for one night. If I stay for one more day, I will continue to stay! Will choose this hotel again in the future!

Great location, just right around the corner of the old city. The room is clean. Both girls at the reception are very nice and helpful especially when you are not speaking the language. They helped organise the taxi for me to go visit places. Amazing place to stay with these amazing people. I sure will return some day.

It is clean, bright and hygienic. The real scene is exactly the same as the picture. The linen is very new. The room also provides free disposable towels and disposable toilet mats, which is great. Before departure, I specifically found an inn near Huayan Temple with good online reviews. It didn't disappoint me when I arrived. The inn is located opposite Huayan Temple in the ancient city. It is very close to the antique pavilion, the ancient city wall, and the Nine Dragon Wall. There are also some free small attractions around. The overall area of the inn is not large, and the decoration is antique. The room I booked is on the second floor. It is a small duplex structure. The first floor of the room is the living room + bathroom + balcony, and the second floor is the bedroom (to be honest, I don't know where the smell in the bedroom comes from. It's a bit unpleasant, but it will disappear after opening the skylight for a while). I like the balcony the most. You can sit on the balcony to drink tea and watch the street view. Huayan Temple is opposite. You can also hear the bell in the morning (although it comes from the loudspeaker). Unfortunately, there were sandstorms and strong winds on the two days I went there, so I didn't enjoy it on the balcony. In short, the inn is very cost-effective. I am very satisfied with this stay and it is worth recommending.

Wenda and all of her colleagues were wonderful! English is spoken here. Fantastic service, friendly, helpful, very clean and spacious rooms, really nice view over the river and at night with all of the lights. Breakfast is good, the facilities are clean and presentable. The room was quiet and the window can be opened if you want fresh air or to cool down the room a bit, the ac works too to cool it down in winter but that’s recirculated air with some people smoking in non-smoking rooms (typical). Our room did not smell which was great and although we had neighbours we could not hear them, so good for light sleepers. Only downside is the bed is firm. Quick 10 minute didi to the ancient city, malls, delicious lunch and food places. The hotel organised a driver to take us to the hanging temple, yungang grottoes and then to a delicious local restaurant very affordable, helpful, reliable and kind driver (WeChat: 永恒). Also recommend going to the art gallery and museum only 10 mins away. It’s a good location.

The boss prepared things in the room very carefully, conditioner, disinfectant hand sanitizer and other hotels at this price are not often available. What surprised me the most was that the disposable slippers were very comfortable and well received.

The hotel is conveniently located, surrounded by business districts. Wanda is opposite, but I didn't bother to go there. The manager and staff at the hotel lobby are calm, friendly and polite. The aunt in the customer service depar**ent on the floor is also great. She gave the children slippers the next day. The hotel breakfast is great, with a lot of variety. There are cold milk and hot milk, and the soy milk is fresh mushroom sugar-free, not brewed, which is super suitable for our family's dietary needs. Western and Chinese breakfasts are all covered, and the price-performance ratio is too high.
