Conveniently situated, close proximity to malls, airport and metro. Check in was a bit of a mission as we arrived at our hotel at 5am, they were kind enough to give us an early check in by 8am. Rooms are marked Non smoking- I beg to differ, the cigarette smell hits you the moment you exit the lift. Not even the automatic air freshener can get rid of the smell, they even have matches and an ashtray in the room, yet they insist it's a non smoking room. Rooms are a nice size. Bathroom could do with a makeover as it is outdated, they can definitely invest in new towels as they give you old worn out towels. Entire hotel is neat and clean, it could do with a bit of a makeover and upgrade. They definitely need to do something about the hallway carpet as the strong tobacco and mouldy smell doesn't leave it. The stars of this establishment are definitely the concierge/ bell boys and bell captain Goutum, Sujeet and Abdul. They go over and beyond there call of duty, they really exceed your every expectation. Had it not been for them, I don't think our stay would be as pleasurable and memorable as it was. Hats off to them, I sincerely hope their employer values them, they would be an asset to any establishment. Well done guys. The Filipino's come across as arrogant and English is a problem with them as they do not understand you. I would recommend they get some training. If these issues were to be ironed out, I will definitely be a returning customer.

Place is nice and clean except that they don't provide glass mugs for the coffee.

Co located in a shopping and office building there is plenty on hand to assist a stay. The Carrefour Market on the ground floor opposite the hotel lobby is extremely handy. Unfortunately, it does add to the time spent in lifts as they traverse the shopping and office levels. The hotel is not flash and is a little tired in decor, but the staff are pleasant and helpful even though they may be short of numbers for the busy times. Breakfast in the Tulip Restaurant is a good spread with many varieties of food available including a live omelette station. It’s also a pleasant view over the lagoon. The 11th floor rooms are a good size but the view can be a little drab when faced with the empty office block. The decor tiredness reveals itself in the lingering smoke smell even though the floor is a designated non-smoking zone. As to overall value, I can’t really give any pointers as I didn’t pick up the tab for my seven night stay.

Rove Expo 2020 located in the heart of Expo2022 which is in the end of subway line, amazing place to stay and explore this area but if u plan to go to downtown each day it will take u 40-55min to downtown Dubai by subway. New repairs, everything is super clean. Water in glass bottle and on unlimited quantity + the ice cube machine on the corridors. Stuff is super kind and helpful. Also the pool area has a view on Expo ball. Gym is also well equipped. 4 min from subway by walk, there is a car which can pick up u and bring to the Rove. I would come back here 100% The only thing restaurants here close pretty early so make sure to eat till 9pm.

I have stayed in this property in the month of February from Feb 26th to March 5th for a period of 7 nights, it was a family vacation with my parents who are senior citizens. We were welcomed by Ms.Lisa front desk executive, she immediately checked is in and the room provided was very good, comfortable and cozy, the bathroom was also functional, only issue was the drain, the sink did not drain well and shower pressure little low, this needs improvement, other than that the stay was very good, the breakfast is decent but definitely needs improvement and needs to be more organised as it gets chaotic and the breakfast needs Indian items like Dosa , etc as these days more hotels have Indian options and the eggs also can be more fluffier and made better, more variety in breakfast is needed considering this is a 4 star property, especially the bakery items needs to be freshly made, not pre sourced bakery items like croissants etc, other than that, the hotel is excellent, we witnessed smoke on our floor whereas it was a non smoking floor, we complained to housekeeping and front desk and the management said they will take notice and take care for future, overall this a excellent property and has the potential to become hot seller in days to come , MOST importantly they need to maintain consistency in service and ensure the hotel doesn’t become a smoke haven by smelly corridors and smelly floors and smoky entrances, this property needs proper care, else it will become another holiday inn festival city which is a disastrous property, the Holiday inn business bay has the potential to become the most sought after property in days to come, a special mention to ALINA, KEKA, ANDREI,NADA from the breakfast team, they provide excellent service to guests and the hotel needs this kind of employees, the house keeping team is also very good, front desk Lisa is true wonderful woman , sweet, caring and loving and she needs to be promoted to maintain this property to highest standards, definitely enjoyable and highly recommended property.

Chinese treatment, Chinese New Year decorations have begun, warm and thoughtful, rich breakfast, a lot of Chinese food, and a good photo spot on the top floor

Hotel was in a great location opposite the Dubai mall. I had a room over looking the Burj which was fantastic, clean and had a comfy bed. All staff were extremely polite and helpful. The hotel provided free drinking water for your room and had a travel agent working in the lobby who you could book tours for. As a solo traveller, I would 100% recommend this hotel.
