Hainan Xinyan Tai Hotel, the service is excellent, enthusiastic, efficient, and basically responsive to all requests. The lobby is very clean and cost-effective. I booked a room with Ctrip. I thought it was an old hotel after reading the reviews, but I was surprised when I came in. The room environment is very good, the facilities are not old, it is quiet, it is close to the duty-free shop, and it feels very safe next to the provincial government. The bedding is silky and clean, and it is a good place to sleep. I was very relieved and also gave two bottles of milk and two small lucky bags as gifts, which felt good. The place is at the great location of Haikou, on the old street. You can find anything you want there. It is close to the electric bicycles if you want to cycle somewhere. The place is also accessible by car. The rooms were clean, the toilets either. There were shower appliances too. There is a coffee shop downstairs with multiple seats and electric plugs if you need to work. In the evening, the bar is opened with live music. The only downside was maybe the tenants who liked to listen to the Tiktok music or watch videos loud. But, compared to other places I went in China, it was a very minor issue. Recommend to everyone!

After an unsatisfactory homestay for one night, we're back to this hotel due to its prime location and attentive staffs. We took the photo shootings and it's great experience. Very good stylish and photographer. We stayed for another 4 nights this time and discovered the small and beautiful garden on the 4th floor. Floor can be cleaner as we are not wearing shoes in the room. The sand in the room should be covered. Great experience overall.

I was shocked when a room service staff flung opened my door (my 2nd day)when I was changing to go out. My door was locked from inside, the Do not disturb was on but the staff opened the door without even warning. I was in my underwear, she, claimed she did not see the sign.. I was so shocked ,the door was locked from inside. I didnt know service staff could just opened Guest rooms at her own discretion, voice my displeasure to the Manager on my way out but she did get back to me after claiming her staff opened my door even though my Do not disturb was on, sbecause Guests sometimes press that button wrongly. I am really disappointed with their approach. The room service staff wasn't really apologetic and insisted she didn't see the Do not disturb sign! She should have made very sure before opening my door with her set of keys. Imagine the worst, if it was a couple in room and she just flung opened the door!
