Odakyu Hotel Century Sagami Ono

Sagamihara|7.27km from city center
Hotel lobby is on the 7F although you can enter from the Station floor (3F) via elevator. The hotel has a lovely all-female floor. Go up elevator, enter foyer where a fresh-water cooler awaits. There are serene sliding tinted doors on both sides. One is for the ice, soda and washing-machine (as well as a small secluded smoking area covered in glass.) The other, is for the hotel rooms. In order to enter the room-hallway, you must use your card-key. It is quiet and calming, which I have never felt in a hotel. The room was simple, clean, roomy and comfortable--with individual wifi. There's complimentary tea, coffee, and hot pot. The small fridge is only just-cool with no ice compartment-which is ok as ice is across the hall. The round table and single chair are designed for the single-traveling female. The bed is lower to the ground than western beds, but REALLY comfortable, with an extra pillow in closet. The bathroom is bright, only lacks lotion, which I use after a shower. But they had little packets of facial wash, scrub and face toner in a complimentary pouch. The shower head was removable and had excellent power. The temp of water can get REALLY hot, so if you want to take a hot, hot bath, you can do so! The view was of the walking station area below, with lights and action, bus station below as well as taxis awaiting, but I could not hear a thing, so the insulation is impressive. There's an entire shopping area with grocery store, flower shop, bread stores and coffee shops on the 3F with a 100-yen store, cake shop and restaurants on both 7-8F. As everyone has said, it is a 1-minute walk to the ticket wicket to aboard the train to either Shinjuku on 1-end or the Mt Fuji area going the opposite direction. The Romance Car-fancy name for faster train can be taken from Sagami-Ono station. So comfortable and faster. The area is but yet clean and not congested at all. As any big city, people are doing their own thing so you won't meet people randomly unless you take some risks. For me, the hotel suited my needs and I felt incredibly rested, safe and secure traveling alone. I paid approximately $75 a night. (8200 yen - tax included)

Hotel Route-Inn Sagamihara -Kokudo 129 Gou-

We used it for work response. If you have a car, there are supermarkets and drugstores nearby, a little far away from home centers, and ions in Hashimoto, so it was not troublesome to buy at night. ※ There was a bicycle rental, but it is not enough for 30 minutes. You will need to move by car. I felt like using it again if I had the opportunity because I could stay at a relatively cheap price with a breakfast bath. The parking lot is also free of charge and can be parked on the same site as the hotel, so I feel that it is easy to load and unload luggage at work and there is a merit. It is easy to go to work from Sagamihara to various places, and there are many guests of the contractor, but there are surprisingly many guests like travelers, and a considerable number of parking lots are parked on weekends. However, due to the location problem, it is disadvantage to pay attention to the route because only the left turn entrance pass left turn exit can be done. Since the central separation zone continues, there are many places where it is difficult to make a U-turn or there is no right turn signal, so it is a place where regional characteristics such as being difficult to move when traffic jams. It is not suitable for those who want a night shop because they cannot move without a basic car. I think it is necessary to go out on behalf of you. As for the room, I felt that the walls were thinner than I had imagined. Not only the sound of the corridor, but also the sound of the shower next door and the conversation of the couple when I was working on the PC at the table by the wall. If you want to mess up after returning to the hotel, I felt it from the next room. Also, there is no rubber in the furniture, so it's battan! It can be heard clearly when it closes, so be careful when opening and closing at night. ※ It makes a good sound because the wooden door and wooden frame hit directly. Due to the specifications of the building and some inconvenience in location, we chose ★3.

Hotel Shinjukuya

Machida|1.67km from Bic camera (Sagami-Ono Station Store)
Attended a sports meet over a weekend in Machida (abt 30min from Shinjuku by train). Stayed in a non-smoking ladies single room at this hotel ( ladies’ beauty kit provided ). Small corner room on 4th floor but had 2 windows overlooking the lively street of Machida shopping area. Machida Station is a 2 minute walk ( East exit ). This station has the Odakyu Line to Shinjuku (30mins only) as well as other lines. I came from Haneda International Airport and it took me slightly over an hour by train to Machida station. Very easy commute. Pasmo card (stored value card, excess can be refunded at the airport at the end of trip) is highly recommended on Tokyo’s public transpor. Online booking is easy on hotel website which has English translation. Google map helped with getting to this hotel. Entrance not highly visible from main walking street in Machida, so use Google Maps. There’s hotel signage at the entrance and you have to go up elevator to 5th floor for check-in. Fast and quick process. Staff able to communicate in simple English. For more complicated issues, use Google Translate. That was a great help! You can leave your baggage at the reception if you arrive early. Check in is STRICTLY after 3pm onwards. Room is very clean and daily housekeeping is very thorough (sometimes to the point of environmental wastage ie toothbrush and other toiletries, towels, bedsheets are replenished fully when reusing them is still viable). Location is great....major malls Lumine, OIOI, Odakyu are very close by...Daiso, Tokyu Hands and Don Don Donki likewise. Walking street is just outside the hotel with MANY food points, bars, karaoke, titbit stores, small retailers and convenience shops along the bustling street. Bus interchange is 5 min away ( direct Haneda airport bus is available too ). There’s a simple breakfast served every morning...its a set meal, nothing fancy. Enjoyed my stay and the great value of this hotel.

Toyoko Inn Jr Yokohama Sen Sagamihara Ekimae
4/560 Reviews
We stayed 2 nights in Toyoko Inn Sagamihara for a work related trip. Conveniently located near the train station, it is a great option for a stay. Breakfast spread is pretty decent. Get a membership card if you plan to stay in major cities in Japan on your trip. You get member discounts up to 10% and the card costs 1500 yen so it pays off if you book for 2 nights or more. The room was nice and spacious. Toyoko Inn is a great chain. They seemed to have worked out the value for money formula and are always in great locations close to train stations in all major cities.

8 telework all day from 17 o'clock. I couldn't concentrate at home, and I had a ladder for the cafe before, but the cafe was difficult to open a PC for a long time. . Especially Saturday and Sunday. I had to ask for additional orders, and I was also out of concentration and I was not cost-effective. And I experienced the telework plan for the first time today. As a result, it became a very satisfying telework. The front desk is also good, and it is possible to use the ticket in the building for 1100 yen, and to receive the beverage and sweets prepared in the lobby, and to bring only the PC, and to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be In a room that is easy to concentrate, the telework was more efficient than usual. Above all, I was able to use a large bath. Because I concentrated for a long time, I was able to soak slowly in a large public bath with a rest, and my head and feeling were refreshed. In other companies hotels, the price of the telework plan is not so cheap, so I felt like I would use it again.
AI Hotel Hashimoto

We stayed at ”Ai Hotel Hashimoto”, which is about 10 minutes on foot from Hashimoto Station in Sagamihara City. It was the first hotel I heard, so I was a little worried, but it was a normal hotel. Since it opened in March 2019, I felt that the building was new, and the room was clean and quiet. The price was also reasonable.

A quick trip to Tokyo area. Easy to get into the city, once you work out the trains! Train stop, less than 5 minute walk. Hotel was very clean and basic, which is all we needed. Liked the freebies which included bathrobes! Friendly staff but it would have been good to have a local map with English writing. Google translate was our friend! Not keen on the breakfast, saying that I would recommend the hotel. Quicker to get to Bullet train from here as well, instead of going into Tokyo.
