Previously, choosing this hotel was a delight, and I used to relax here a lot. The service was of very high quality, and it was a very pleasant experience. Now, it seems that someone is not paying attention to the kind of staff they hire. Perhaps no one is observing the staff's behavior. Just because the restaurant manager stands next to the hotel director and smiles at him, it doesn't mean he is a competent employee who should be there. I remember eight years ago, a blonde woman who was probably the hotel manager greeted me at the entrance of the restaurant. She was incredibly kind and clearly cared a lot about the service and the overall atmosphere in the hotel. Now, the situation is average at best. Even at the reception, there are young staff members, including one younger, chubby guy who, when I was leaving the hotel with my suitcase and said thank you and goodbye, just lifted his head and didn't even respond. Sometimes I felt like I made a mistake choosing this place for the fifth time and felt a lot of frustration because of how much the quality of service has declined. Clearly, they care more for older Germans, but don't be surprised if you get a room under the pool, near the bar, or with a palm view... yes, you are probably a lower category guest for them. Go to reception maybe they'll give You another a bit better. I get after a week of wait room with palma view after lound one, this one was even worse becouse of birds scream... Well they gave me two palma view rooms to decide, after 5 stays, member of club :D :D For many years, I told everyone what a great hotel this was, but I will not go there anymore.
