Spark by Hilton Sarasota Siesta Key Gateway

The property was very nice ! Typical Of the Hilton ! Issue is that an item with the tags on got removed from my luggage when our room got cleaned up! Also, only the bed was made, bathroom wasn’t cleaned up! Called Hilton and complained about my missing item and was supposed to get a call back from the hotel itself and I never did!

Nice hotel. Nice pool. Pool bar wasn’t open Monday or Tuesday. Sunday was nice. Hot water in shower was a problem. The knob would spin all the way around. You had to find the exact spot to get it to stay warm

Great property, 10 minutes drive to beach, great restaurants walking distance and shopping stores.

This place is a hidden gem & staff were excellent!!! Lisa at pool bar so nice & great with names. Excellent location near good restraunts & offer free ride service to Crescent & Siesta Key beach area. Rooms very nice everything was so clean. Pool is great and continental breakfast is mainly bagels, cereals & juice but b

The old Best Western hotel. It has been renovated and done nicely. Breakfast was minimal, no coffee pot in the room, had to go to the lobby for a cup of coffee. The bed sheets are polyester and you sweat! The bed pillows were horrible....as soon as you lay head down the pillow stuffing just separates, may as well have no pillows at all! As much as we love that location and have stayed at that hotel for the past 15 yrs or so, I don't think we'll stay again, just not our type of hotel. Too minimalist

Hilton properties that I’ve stayed at had a better selection for breakfast, I’ve stayed at this hotel when it was the holiday Inn and best Western every morning, they had pancakes, French toast, eggs, yogurt, parfaits, since Spock took it over it has bagels. Unfortunately, it had no gluten-free items that I could eat.

The hotel was located in a good location even though it can be a little noisy with the traffic on the roads. Rooms have been renovated and are clean. They do need to improve their bedding. The pillows were way too soft and uncomfortable and the mattress sagged on the one side. The maid service was just okay, just straighten bed and replenished towels.

Location is less than ideal for the area. Having said that, Hilton staff are excellent, I cancelled my reservation 10 minutes after making it and ******* wanted to charge me the equivalent of a one night stay penalty. Hilton managed the issue for me in a very timely and effective manner. Yay Hilton! Boooo *******.
