The Inn at Weathersfield

What a wonderful inn! New owners so pleasant and accommodating. Had the Lincoln room so clean, bed comfy and wanted to take a shower twice a day with all the jets. Had dinner one night, really, really good! Got to meet the Chef, very talented. We were there to ski at Okemo which is a very easy drive from the inn (25 minutes if you go to Jackson Gore). All good roads. Would highly recommended staying at the inn for skiing or any time of year!

Mangement and staff are super friendly and welcoming. The room and bed (we stayed at Kidder Hill) were super comfortable and cozy, it had a small furnace and the daily fresh baked cookies were a nice delicious touch. The Inn itself is very quiet, for those looking for a tranquil weekend should definitely check it out. It is just 25 mins away from Okemo Mountain Resort, which makes the Inn a perfect place to stay and relax after a long day of skiing. 5/5 would recommend to anyone.

My wife of 55 years and I visited the Inn at Weathersfield in Perkinsville, VT on Valentines day and February 15th for our anniversary. Our first visit was at a 20th Anniversary, 35 years ago! We were holding our breath and hoping it would meet our expectations, it surpassed it. The Ivanov's are doing a fantastic job, from the time you walk in the front door you will be at home. Ivan greeted us and helped us to our room, The Taftsville is a corner room on the front of the inn, with 4 great windows for plenty of light. Greta will take care of your service in the dining room and the food served is superb, they provide farm to table using local area farms. Our dinners were out of this world, tasty and healthy with just the right portions. We really enjoyed the fresh catch, always done at the highest level. You will not be disappointed.

the coziest and and one of the best inns i have ever stayed at. the staff was so attentive and kind, the rooms were perfect and had everything we needed and more. i would recommend this inn to anyone who wants a cozy getaway in vermont! gorgeous views tucked away and the food was delicious(everything is locally grown and handmade-nothing store bought). it truly felt like magic! if i could give this place more than a 5 star review i would-we will definitely be coming back here again

What a delightful place! There a fireplaces everywhere, a beautiful dining room, very good food. I am looking forward to exploring the outdoor spaces someday in better weather than we had this weekend. The new owners are very accommodating and are doing a wonderful job. We had last been to the Inn at Wethersfield over 30 years ago! How wonderful to find that it has certainly kept up with the times and exceeded our fond memories. We loved the new owners who are also very hands-on! The cocktail list surpassed any that I saw in Boston or New York City this winter! don’t be afraid to ask for special dietary requirements as the chef makes everything to order. We can’t wait to go back!

The Inn is lovely! We spent 4 lovely days there while in Vermont for our honeymoon. It is simply charming. The owners are warm and welcoming. The Inn is clean and very cozy. We sat at the fireplace nightly. The restaurant serves delicious farm to table selections created by the on site chef. Breakfast is included and includes your choice of farm to table food. We will be returning. We could not be happier.

We LOVED it! Chose the Elopement Package at the Inn for October and it was a 5-STAR EXPERIENCE! Richel, the Event Coordinator, was fantastic. Helped make all the details so easy. To decide the ceremony location, we visited on a Saturday in advance to have dinner & walk the extensive grounds, garden & Chapel in the Woods. One of the friendly innkeeper/owners, Ivan, gave us a tour and shared the storied history of the Inn. Our weekend stay in October was absolutely perfect. A family business, the innkeepers and staff, are extremely warm, welcoming and professional. The Inn is impeccably clean, rustic, classy, historic, charming, and homey. The a**osphere is very relaxing. We stayed in the beautifully appointed Lincoln Room for our marriage weekend, where we found a lovely gift upon arrival that included Vermont Maple syrup and candies. The amenities were perfect. Gas fireplace, large comfortable bed, lovely linens, quiet and luxurious large bathroom. Plush robes in the closet. Roku TV and plenty of WiFi bandwidth. Dining options include several different spaces indoors, or outdoors on the large patio in the rear. All lovely. The Chef's incredible cuisine was impressive; creative & delicious. Vegetarian/Vegan options available. Started with hand-crafted cocktails & mocktails that included fresh herbs from their own garden. Dessert included house-made sorbet with fresh, seasonal fruit. Every course incorporated locally purveyed meats and vegetables. The daily breakfast was a divine, perfect portion accompanied by a fresh fruit smoothie served in a mini mason jar. They delivered fresh baked cookies to our room each day, and gave us some to go with coffee on the morning of our departure! The unexpected personal touches they included blew us away. Notably, stepping back into the Inn after our wedding ceremony, to our surprise we found a private table-for-two with special linens, candles and decor in a quaint room off the entry area just for us! Not part of the standard dining room. Richel took great care of us for dinner, and it made the evening extra special for is. This was above & beyond and we will always remember it. Already planning our next trip back!

We found ourselves with an unexpected extra day in Vermont and were scurrying to find a good place to stay. After reading the reviews we decided to give this Inn a try. We were not disappointed but extremely happy that we had the extra day or we would not have found this lovely inn. The owners are gracious, fun, make delicious cocktails and pleasant to talk with. The inn has kept its original charm but have updated to modern facilities. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom, though not huge, had more space for placing your toiletries that many large hotel bathrooms. One bonus is their bar and restaurant. Since this is in the mountains and the roads are not well lit, we wanted to be able to eat at the inn and not worry about driving. Honestly, this is the nicest place we have ever stayed at in the US. We are alrleady planning our return visit for next fall.
