GGuest UserThis is an excellent hostel! I've only stayed in a few hostels before, once in Barcelona and once in Manila. This Japanese-style hostel is incredibly clean and tidy. Each room only accommodates four people and has key card access. There are also large individual lockers. I was lucky to have quiet roommates, so I slept very well. By the way, the beds are really soft.
The common areas are great, with a dedicated workspace and a media room. The bathrooms and toilets all have individual stalls, and there are plenty of them, so you don't have to worry about waiting even when it's busy.
It's very close to the airport; a taxi ride there in the morning cost about 210 pesos. It's also near Mall of Asia, about a 20-minute walk away. It’s a nice stroll, and you can catch the stunning Manila Bay sunset there around dusk.

Cons, I was charged over 700 paso for stains on the sheet and a pillow? I suspect this came from the numerous mosquito bits I had scratched too much and put on antiseptic cream.
I have been in nearly 130 countries around the world and never had such a charge
I have broken things and paid and that is appropriate
I don't know if such charges are the norm in the Philippines. Hopefully not as now in El Nino for 9 nights. I will be back in Manila , bit reluctant to stay at The Henry, sad, because it's a nice place

There's a shopping mall and a large supermarket downstairs, making shopping very convenient. There's also a smoking area downstairs, which is very friendly for smokers.

GGuest UserThis hotel is incredibly close to the airport, right across from it. I stayed on the eighth floor, and the soundproofing was decent, but it couldn't block out the motorbike noise. The service was generally good. However, there was a slight sewer smell coming from the bathroom, and the hairdryer's power was a bit weak. They offer in-room massage services, but you have to go to the front desk to pay by card immediately after your massage. The pool is shallow, with live music by the poolside, and it's quite enjoyable for a swim, but it closes at 8 PM, so you have to make the most of it. Also, despite being close to the airport (about a 20-minute walk), the pedestrian walkways aren't very convenient; you often encounter obstacles that force you onto the road. Taking a taxi would be a better option.

SSr. Ched LalisanLocation wise hotel is accessible to any airport but most to NAIA Terminal 3 since it is just a walking distance via the runway to newport vice versa. Since our flight the next day will be at 10:30pm, i requested for late check out until 2PM only. Actually I expected until 4PM but it is based on availability since it was granted to us 2 weeks ago. The hotel provided 2 bottles of water but it is lacking for us. There is Lawson convenience store downstairs & walkable Mcdo. We availed of breakfast but the food werre same all thoughout my stays before.

GGuest UserIt was a nice experience although there was the annoying detail about not getting the king size bed I asked for and that I was told could choose when I check in because it was full so had ro settle for two single's bed. They should also clean the glass window from the exterior. It got stains on it preventing from taking clear photos of the surroundings

Secondly, upon entering the room this time, I noticed the smell was much less prominent than before; perhaps the hotel aired it out beforehand, as there was even a faint pleasant scent. Additionally, the room facilities maintain a standard comparable to Home Inns back home, which is quite rare to find abroad. Plus, it's reasonably convenient for both the airport and the train station. I highly recommend this hotel, especially as a cost-effective option for an overnight stay when catching an early flight or late bus.
