Eighteen, nineteen, twenty steps, three floors of fifty-seven steps of the Gaslight Street, at the end of Dudley Street, is a very short, slightly steep uphill step road connecting Snow Factory Street. The steps are all granite stairs, and the four ends of the step road stand 4 gas lamps. The gas lamps are the only remaining in Hong Kong and have a long history. They were listed as legal monuments in Hong Kong on August 15, 1979. Daley Street is located south of Queen's Road Central, Central, Hong Kong. From St John's Cathedral, there is a downhill road towards Central. It is reached at the bottom of the slope. The gas lights are now on from 6pm to 6am and automatically switch on and off. We went in the afternoon, there was no light and there was no artistic conception. [Play guide suggestion] In the afternoon, visit St. John's Cathedral and Hong Kong Concierge House. Queue up to the top of Taiping Mountain on the cable car. After the cable car goes down the mountain, come to Gas Light Street to see the night view under the gas light. Follow the snow factory street and go to Lan Kwai Fong. Gaslight Street, many Hong Kong TV dramas, music films and movies are scenes from this place, for me entering middle age, watching Hong Kong films in the Mainland when I was young is a kind of happiness, and now, visiting the small streets with Hong Kong's old feelings is a kind of care.
