We went to the Galata, built in 1348, and after queuing in, the elevator went directly to the 6th floor, and then walked 2 floors to the top floor. Overlooking Istabul, the blue sky and blue sea green trees and red roof are very beautiful. After watching, you can only walk down. Every floor has some to visit, although the visibility is not strong.

A must see while in Istanbul. Went there during NYE and they had a beautiful night light show lighting up the facade!
The area of Galata Tower has many shops and restaurants and crowded. The tower itself is not as stunning as you might expect, but the view from the top is worth the ascend. Usually, large lines can always be found to reach the top, but it’s worth the wait, and you get a 360-degree view

The Galatian tower is one of Istanbul's landmarks, a lighthouse built in 507 by Byzantine Emperor Anastasius. The Galatian tower was originally built of wood, burned during the Crusades, and was rebuilt by the Heatman, and the material was changed to stone. The vicissitudes of the ancient tower have served several roles: guard tower, prison, observatory. The Galatian tower overlooks parts of Istanbul.
