It is a dream of the Bali government that we must go to the Eagle Square when we come to Bali. This Cultural Park was built in the era of former Indonesian President Suharto. It covers an area of 250 hectares and costs tens of billions of dollars. The original plan was to cut the whole mountain into a cultural and artistic area. Later, Suharto stepped down. Although the grand project was carried on by his son, it was finally built because of the economy. So far, only 20% of the work has been completed, so we can see that although the GWK Cultural Park has preserved the completed part, there are still some places that are obviously only half built, and the square in front of the Goddess Eagle has become the best place to hold some large-scale gatherings or cultural activities in Bali. Large lawns, you can also see monkeys play, the air is not too good, to the end, but also have a different flavor.
