The temple was built in the Silla period (652), formerly known as Xiangcheng Temple, and the nine-story stone tower of Sakya Shizun Sheli was dedicated. After several fires, the monks left one after another, and finally only three were left. One day, they dreamed of revelation, and they rebuilt the temple and renamed it Xinxing Temple. The bronze statue of the emerging temple, called the Unification Buddha, is where Koreans place their desire for the reunification of the north and south, and is also the largest Buddha in South Korea. On the platform there are 16 statues of Luohan who pray for unity. Inside the Buddha statue are three of the Buddha's true body donated by the Myanmar government in 1992, as well as scriptures and magic tools. If you are a believer, you can offer white rice and candles on the spot. We saw monks praying for the believers when we went. TIPS: Remember to take off your shoes to step on the worship table. In addition to praying candles and white rice, you can also donate prayer tiles and leave a wish message on the tiles. There are many prayer tiles written in Chinese, and it seems that many Chinese people come to this place to play. Cost: 10,000 won
