Wenshu Monastery is a national key Buddhist monastery in Han nationality area, a key cultural relics protection unit in Sichuan Province. It is now the residence of Sichuan Province and Chengdu Buddhist Association. It is a famous Buddhist monastery in western Sichuan. Wenshu Monastery was built during the year of the Great Ye (605-617). Wang Yangxiu named Xinxiang Temple as "Saint Ni". Huichang five years (845), Tang Wuzong destroyed Buddha, the temple destroyed. Xuanzong's reign (847) repaired, more than 800 years coexisted with the world. Qing Shunzhi first year (1644) completely destroyed. Legend has it that some people saw red light at night in the Qing Dynasty, and the government sent people to visit. They saw the statue of Wenshu Bodhisattva in the red light, which was convenient for Kangxi to raise funds to rebuild the temple in 36 years (1697), and changed it to Wenshu Monastery. The word "empty forest" was given to the "empty forest" royal seal. Kangxi Emperor ink still remains in the hospital.
