Getting Around

• Lisbon Metro has 4 lines, 55 stations, and runs daily from 6:30 AM to 1:00 AM with trains every 2 to 5 minutes at peak times. A Navegante card costs EUR 0.50, and zapping pay-as-you-go is EUR 1.90 per trip.
• Airport to city centre: the Red Line takes 20 to 25 minutes (EUR 1.90 with zapping). Uber or Bolt costs EUR 10 to 20 and takes 20 to 30 minutes. After the metro closes at 1:00 AM, ride-hailing is the only option.
• Tram 28E is Lisbon's iconic tourist route (Martim Moniz to Campo de Ourique). Board at Martim Moniz before 9 AM to avoid crushing crowds. Funicular and lift services in Lisbon can experience temporary maintenance closures; check current operating status before your trip.
