GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at Capella Sydney.
Our sincere thanks to Rebecca Chan and Kelly Huang for thoughtfully arranging our rooms and making our family feel so warmly welcomed. We would also like to thank Monica Cisneros for the delicious macarons—they were a lovely and thoughtful surprise.
We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and the hotel’s elegant interior, which beautifully combines classic heritage character with refined modern design. Every detail made the stay feel calm, comfortable, and special.
Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience. Capella Sydney will definitely be our first choice whenever we have the opportunity to return to Sydney.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is really good. It's super convenient to go everywhere in the city. The room is very well designed and quite cozy. All staff are really nice, polite, & helpful. The hotel's cafe is cute and the breakfast there is also quite good.
The only issue that we faced in this trip was our A/C was not working on our first night and again on our final night. However, the staff was very helpful and very quickly fixing it. So our overall experience was quite happy.

GGuest UserThe hotel was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were so lucky to be able to check in directly when we arrived at noon! It's also very close to the bus stop, so a group of us arriving from the airport could quickly get there by bus without paying expensive airport fees – super cost-effective! Getting into the city by train from Mascot was also very fast!!

Room was clean, room service was excellent and towels were replaced daily. Mini fridge and iron too in the room if needed. Bathroom is spacious enough and concierge is very friendly.

GGuest UserOK for one night.
The hotel is above the pub, which is also very busy in the afternoon.
There is also live music there on Sundays until around 9 p.m.
Everything is perfectly fine, unless you have room 10 next to the washing machine/dryer and sleep next to the ventilation. Even though drying and washing is not allowed after 9 p.m., it was very annoying.
The hotel rooms face the back, so in the morning you also have the noise from the loading area of the supermarket.
On the positive side, the room was in a modern condition and the staff were all very nice.
The beach is a ten-minute walk away.

GGuest UserThe location is not bad for getting around by train, especially since it's halfway between Central and Town Hall, and you can take a tram. All the staff are friendly. I booked breakfast for two even though I was traveling alone because there wasn't a single-person option. It was clean and good, but the menu rarely changed, so I felt it was a bit overpriced. There was a washing machine on the 3rd floor, but I couldn't find a dryer, which was a shame (though I might have just missed it). It was also disappointing that I couldn't open the windows in clean-aired Sydney. Nevertheless, for expensive Sydney, I think I booked a good quality hotel at a relatively affordable price. If I go again, I'd be willing to stay here. I hope the areas for improvement can be addressed!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent and very convenient, especially for getting around the city. The price is affordable, making it a good option for budget travelers. The staff were friendly and the check-in process was easy. However, I think the cleanliness could be improved, as the room and shared areas didn’t feel as clean as I expected. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay if you’re looking for a budget-friendly accommodation in a great location.

MMichelle HemsinWe had a brilliant experience at the Langham for our wedding anniversary! I forgot how much I like the Langham brand. From the pink ribbon around the toilet paper to the sleep ammenities (we asked for the sleep pillow mist and the room diffuser) to the suggested third eye massage technique and the chamomile tea before bedtime, we felt totally pampered and taken care of. Reservation was made for our celebratory dinner with fine steak dinner over the fantastic view of the Opera House. In room breakfast was delivered on time and the quantity copious. The Spanish bell boy was helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded to a harbour view room to our delight. Location was convenient to walk either to Barangaroo or the Rocks, for ferry ride or metro. Very pleased to have chosen The Langham, it was absolutely the right decision for us!
5.6/10
GGuest UserPerfect stay in the heart of Burwood! The location can’t be beaten—walking distance to Westfield Mall, Burwood Park, and countless Asian eateries. The guesthouse has a charming historic vibe with polished wooden floors, plus modern perks like free WiFi and a coin-operated laundry. The host was super friendly and helped us store luggage after check-out.
