Huilong Temple is located in Huilong Village, Liuzao Town, Nanhui District, Shanghai. It was built in Hongwu 19 years (1386) in the Ming Dynasty. It was originally called Lu Jiaxuan and later changed to Huilong Temple. The temple is historically a Buddhist activity place for people and salt merchants in the surrounding four towns (six stoves, three stoves, Zhuqiao, Yancang) praying for peace and prosperity and smoothness. For more than 600 years, Huilong Temple has been through the vicissitudes and has endured the storm. By the early 1990s, the government religious office officially approved as a Buddhist activity point, and when the real estate certificate was implemented, the land area was only 634 square meters and the real estate area was only 286 square meters.
