Also known as Kinjo, Nagoya Castle is a landmark of Nagoya which joins Osaka Castle and Kumamoto Castle as one of the "Three Famous Castles" in Japan. Visitors can take an elevator up to the top floor of the main keep for views over the surrounding streets. In addition to a large variety of historical relics, the castle also features a large number of models, scenes, and games to entertain visitors.

Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens are located within Higashiyama Park in Nagoya’s Chikusa-ku. The whole area includes botanical gardens, a zoo, and playing ground, and the Higashiyama Sky Tower. The koalas, giraffes, and elephants at the zoo are especially populR with tourists; and the Nature Museum, where nocturnal animals reside, is also a famed attraction. In the botanical gardens, there can be found a grand greenhouse, a Sakura corridor, and flower beds. This is an ideal spot for both sightseeing and vacation.
