Very good friendly service, excellent paella valenciana. We also enjoyed the tapas starters. Will definitely eat here again.

This place opens after 8:30 PM (Common Spanish Dining Hours). If you do not have a reservation they will try to find a way to seat you, but don't count on it. MAKE A RESERVATION! They have a special three course menu, but do not be fooled. There is plenty of food. I suggest the Fernando wine, which is smooth and rich.

My boyfriend and I walked past this place three evenings in a row in Valencia and it was always busy so we decided to have dinner here ourselves one evening. We were seated quickly outside and the waitress offered us English and Spanish menus. We had bread, starters and main courses each. My boyfriend ordered three plates of tapas as a main course and I had a starter of tapas and paella as my main. My vegetable paella was delicious, really authentic and perfect portion for one. I didn't need the starter or bread on the side. I took away two points because the service was pretty bad and the only dish either of us enjoyed was the paella. The other (tapas) dishes were average. The waiter who served us after we were seated was completely uninterested. I got the impression that he didn't like us because we weren't Spanish, although I was trying to order everything using the basic Spanish I have. The coffee we were served at the end was dire and neither of us drank it, it was burnt and flavourless. We were disappointed because it was a cool location, on a nice street and standard price (€60) but the service really let them down, perhaps we caught them on an off night.
