Similar to Sydney's Manly, it is a beautiful coastal suburb at the bottom of the north shore, and the ferry ride to the city is fast and the atmosphere is relaxed. Not exactly "attractions", just some really nice places to walk, including dormant volcanoes, historic gun positions and tunnels, parks and safe beaches. Some nice Victorian and Edwardian residential buildings. Lots of good cafes. The restaurant is OK, but not particularly good.

Devonport is a quint town with a beautiful park and beach overlooking Torpedo Bay. The kids will love the playground. There are also a number of cafes, fish and chip shops as well as art galleries. We drove down here to catch a ferry at the Devonport Ferry Terminal to get across to Auckland City. A 10 minute ferry ride will bring you right into town at the Queen's wharf where you can easily walk to Queen Street. We recommend hopping on to the ferry for a scenic route to Auckland city. There's ample of public parking space nearby.

A Auckland resident who enjoyed summer in Devonport recommended us escape the city on Sunday afternoon and take a boat to this beautiful coastal town. There are many Victorian buildings, covered with lush areas, and it is relaxing. Several ships were parked on the port, and the scenery throughout the afternoon was very beautiful, like the scenery of postcards. The historic The Esplanade hotel is right next to the pier, providing delicious lunch, and the interior of the hotel is luxurious. Go here by boat and you will be there soon. (Everyone) will definitely have a good time in Devonport.

A small town close to the city of Auckland, it only takes 15 minutes to take a ferry, which is known as Gulangyu Island in Auckland. It was once a military fortress, and on the top of Victoria, you can overlook the Sky Tower, Yishu Mountain, Mission Bay, Lanyi Taotao Volcano, Rapids Island and other attractions. It is a good place to relax.

A relatively quiet town in Auckland, there is not much industrial hustle and bustle, people's expressions are peaceful, although not so prosperous, the environment is superior, there are green plants and flowers everywhere.

New Zealand's first stop came to Devonport, but unfortunately it has been raining and there are not many people in the street. Postcards in Auckland are not as good as Queenstown. It is recommended to buy them in Queenstown. The refrigerator is expensive, but I still buy a souvenir. Some shop clerks speak Chinese, pass a coffee shop, buy an ice cream, super unpalatable and expensive, and the mission bay behind buys almost one world. Pedestrians on the road are running on their dogs, wearing shorts on a dozen degrees of day, children are barefoot, and the physique is really different from us.

It's a great place to go for lunch when the weather is nice. There are various restaurants and bars, and it is also good to take a walk along the beach.
