This is onestly one of the better zoos Ive visited worldwide. The animals are well kept and their enclosures are clean. The set up of this place is very unique, in that the animals arent really caged. The enclosures are open and people are seperated by natural barriers.

The Singapore Zoo is renowned for its innovative open-concept enclosures that mimic the natural habitats of the animals. It's home to over 2,800 animals from over 300 species, including endangered species like orangutans, white tigers, and Asian elephants. The zoo also offers unique experiences like breakfast with orangutans and guided night safaris, making it a favorite destination for families and animal lovers alike.

Singapore Zoo was enjoyable! Be advised theres alot of walking involved unless you choose to take the free trams. Many animals to see and you can spend about half a day there!

Incredible zoo with so much to see and do. The fragile forest enclosure is particularly impressive, and the animal feedings are a great experience (be sure to book them in advance). My only downsides are: a couple of the enclosures seem a little small, especially for the elephants. Also, some of the shows feel a bit old fashioned and exploitative. I’m sure they are treated well, but I’m just personally not a big fan of seeing animals doing tricks for entertainment.

The Singapore Zoo, formerly known as the Singapore Zoological Gardens or Mandai Zoo, is a 28 hectares (69 acres) zoo located on the margins of Upper Seletar Reservoir within Singapore's heavily forested central catchment area. It is operated by the Mandai Wildlife Group, which also manages the neighbouring Night Safari, River Wonders, Bird Paradise as well as the forthcoming Rainforest Wild Park.

So much to see and do even as adults, place is clean and washrooms are accessible. Wagons and strollers are available for rent for children too! Highly recommend.

Honestly, I have never seen such a clean and well organised zoo anywhere in the world. I highly recommend this place not only for kids but people of any age. It is a huge place so get ready to walk a lot. You can take a paid tram too. Consider 5-6 hours to see all, if you want to make it relaxing then walk 6-7 hours. Best part of the zoo is animals are less restricted. There is no over crowding of animals. It feels like more natural. Enjoyed shows too. Keep yourself hydrated and enjoy.
